The food itself was fine, but the service completely ruined the experience.
Our waiter (Nick) was absolutely awful seemed high, barely came to our table (maybe 3 times, and that’s being generous), and we had to flag down other staff just to get basic things. For an AYCE place, that’s unacceptable. I try to give grace as I use to be a server for many years but this experience was really mind boggling.
They also tried to charge us a gratuity for our 2 year old, which was ridiculous. Our child is very well behaved in restaurants, and we always clean up after him. Trying to add gratuity for a toddler feels like a blatant cash grab especially being our server (Nick) we never really saw unless he was walking by our table on his phone.
We were charged dinner prices because we came on New Year’s Day, which is fine however, we were never given access to the dinner menu. We didn’t realize until we were about to leave, and only after bringing it up to the manager was it addressed. That should not be something the customer has to catch.
Overall, between the inattentive service, attempted overcharging, and lack of transparency, this place seriously needs to get it together.
