Wonderfully built and planned hostel. Comfortable and spacious rooms with a great layout and design, huge lockers with its own key code, towels included and great awesome facilities. Seemed to be in a nice area and near the metro, wish the pool on the rooftop was open beyond 8 PM though, and no activities or social atmosphere for solo travelers.

OKUPA deserves 5 stars!||I genuinely don’t have a single negative thing to say. This isn’t your typical hotel...it’s an experience.||||Urban, vibrant, and full of personality.||||• The food? Incredible. The flavors are original. Must-tries: the crab burger, mushroom gyoza, beef croquettes, and the homemade mango juice if you’re after something refreshing. (Note: kitchen closes at 11:30 PM & room service is not available.)||||• Rooms are bright and spotless. Instead of TVs, each room comes with a projector. There’s no bottled water inside, but you can refill for free at the water station just outside your room.||||• The staff is exceptional: friendly & helpful.||||• There are several well-thought-out spaces within the hotel:||||The mezzanine: a co-working area with a library, meeting rooms, and even soundproof boxes for important calls.||||The basement: a peaceful space dedicated to body & mind sessions (note: not a gym, so no weights or machines).||||The lobby: the heart of the hotel, home to the café and restaurant.||||The overall vibe is magnetic. It naturally brings people together. The crowd is open, social, and full of good energy. Don’t be surprised if you make a new friend or end up dancing all night! 😁||||I originally planned to stay 2 nights and ended up staying 4. That says it all.||Highly recommend. 👌

Everything feels new and well-designed. ✨The bed was super comfortable and I slept really well! I stayed in a 4-person room with a private bathroom, which was very clean and came with great shower gel and shampoo. The hairdryer was powerful too. The metro is within walking distance, though the supermarket is a bit farther. There’s a nice common area on the second floor for relaxing, reading, or working. Overall, a great experience with beautiful interior design!💖

The best hostel i have ever been to! The hostel is beautiful and clean, located very central in Athens. It even has a nice rooftop with a pool and a view on Akropolis. The hostel is more quiet, with people in their end-20s/30s or 40s, but that is what i preferred over a party hostel. The restaurant/bar of the hostel organizes very cool events every week as well! I will definitely come back.

Great location. Super helpful staff. Great food overall. The rooftop pool is perfect after a long day touring the city by foot.. with a view of the Acropolis. Walkable to all the major things. The movement session, yoga, had a couple influencers in it — which was incredibly distracting, and simply unnecessary during yoga. Space was really nice though, located in their space called ‘The Basement’.

What a find! I was a bit unsure what it would be like as the price was so good for the location, but it had lots of 5* reviews. From start to finish it was such a great experience. Location is amazing, so close to everything and only ten minutes from the Agora and main station. Really cool restaurants and bars just to the North West and then some more tourist friendly ones to the East. Room was big, bright and loved the terrace. Nice little touches to make you feel at home. You could even just see the Acropolis from our room. The bar area/concierge is really nice too. Had some nice night cap cocktails in the evening. Staff were really really friendly. Remembering where we had been each day and helping us with transport etc. Only thing is there are pics of a pool but I think this is closed either for winter or totally. Sign for rooftop in lift but tried to go up and door locked. All in all an amazing stay, a real little gem in the heart of Athens.

Couldn't find a thing to complain about! 😁 Impeccable cleaning, studious calm atmosphere, nice chill music, location perfect, kind staff. Lovely place to be, in the ❤️ of Athens. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality. Quality/ price perfect. Shampoo, conditioner, hand soap one of the best brands. Towels like new. Cozy, and warm. Kind staff especially Sofia with her lovely smile. Best.

My stay at Okupa Hotel was truly wonderful! Everything was well-organized and clean, the atmosphere was stylish and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better. The staff were kind, helpful, and always smiling — especially the amazing ladies at the reception, who truly made me feel welcome and supported throughout my stay. A special thank you to all of them! There was one small negative experience with a barman whose behavior was a bit unprofessional, but honestly, that single moment doesn’t take away from all the great things this hotel has to offer. A very special thank you to the hotel manager, Vasilis, for his professionalism and attention to every detail — he truly makes a difference. I highly recommend Okupa Hotel for its charm, service, and positive energy. I’d definitely come back!
