Okurama Japanese Cuisine

We had a lovely experience in this Okurama branch. The food was all very delicious, fresh and filled with flavour, the sushi was truly amazing and was of great quality. From our experience, the rolls weren't overly filled with rice as some reviews said they were - they were proportionate to the filling inside. Our favourite was the Crunch Beef, Spicy Salmon & Spicy Tuna. The staff were all very helpful and kind and took their time in explaining how the All You Can Eat menu works in their restaurant branch and I'd like to thank Ploy & Md for their helpfulness - they provided excellent service with a smile. Price is €32.50 and is worth every penny as they have increased the items you can choose from including duck which wasn't previously available! I'm happy we found our new spot to go to after International Taste closed and will definitely visit again soon!

Okurama is an all-around amazing place. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to eat some sushi! The service was amazing, Ploy and Das were very attentive, friendly and helpful. The food came very quickly! I would estimate the food came within 10-15 minutes of ordering. This restaurant was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere, and the food was lovely and great value. We had the all you can eat sushi buffet and it was so worth it! Thank you for having us 😊

Food was great and we were well serviced with such education and smile by our waitress Ms.Ploy! We enjoyed the food, Sushi was consistent and tasteful, Noodles were great and we had sweet and sour chicken which whilst taseful personally for me it lacked meat (was too thin). All in all excellent family dinner!

We stayed in Malta for only a few days, and this last evening we decided to have dinner in this restaurant. Very welcoming and clean environment, the waitress Ploy was very kind and professional, explaining the menu to us in detail, very good and high quality dishes. Next time we stay in Malta we will definitely go back!

We had such a great experience doing the all you can eat buffet! Our waitress was so nice and very helpful. She always made sure we had everything we needed. If you are near by you have to check it out!

Amazing Experience at Okurama I recently visited Okurama, and it was an amazing experience. The all-you-can-eat sushi is the best in Malta—if you love sushi, this is a must-visit. Everything was fresh and delicious. The place is cozy, and the service is excellent. Good price that includes dessert, it's a fantastic deal. I highly recommend Okurama. You won't regret it!

Everything was nice. The service and food combination was good. It was easy to eat, and the rice was cooked really well — it didn’t feel heavy when eaten.

Booked ahead as usually they are busy but we had a nice table downstairs in a good area. Great attention to detail from staff and food was amazing as usual. We had the buffet and all items were very beautifully presented. Sushi tends to be on the larger side so its easy to go overboard and order too much. The yuzu and green tea ice cream flavours help to end the meal on a good note. They also offer discounted parking at Portomaso Parking. Highly recommended!
