Ol Lentille

We stayed in a beautiful safari house with breathtaking views and complete privacy. A heartfelt thank you to Johnson Snr and Celeste for their exceptional service throughout our stay. We are also deeply grateful to Solomon and Issac for taking such wonderful care of us during our game drive, nature walk, and meaningful cultural experiences at the local school and Maasai village.

Our 2 nights at Laipika was planned in between wildlife stays at Amboseli and Masaai Mara. Ol Lentile became the spiritual surprise of Kenya at Laipika. We learned and experienced the efforts of conserving the land and preserving ancient traditions belonging to the Maasai people. Solomon and Isaac showed us through long walks and hikes, arriving at peaks for Sundowner, for bush brunch. The vistas are breathtaking. He also brought us to elementary schools in the village where Ol Lentille has programs which feed the pupils daily. We visited the home of an elder tribe family; danced with them, had tea inside her mud hut. It was a memorable experience where luxury meets authentic "hardship" that touched my soul. (I found out my review was never posted by google because there were many native people inside my pics and clips. So this is my second attempt with no humans in the content)

Ol Lentille is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world. My wife and I were absolutely captivated by the peace and beauty that envelops this place—it’s the most serene location we’ve ever visited. While the animal sightings were incredible, what really made Ol Lentille stand out was the chance to immerse ourselves in the local culture. The staff brought in members of the local tribes during dinner, and we were able to dance with them and connect on a personal level. It was such an authentic and meaningful experience that made our stay unforgettable. Our room was stunning, complete with an outdoor hot tub overlooking the breathtaking landscape. The service and food were world-class, and even with our experience visiting exceptional places across the globe, Ol Lentille ranks right at the top. A true highlight of our stay was the day-long helicopter safari—arranged at the last minute, thanks to the team’s dedication and their incredible connections. They managed to pull this off when everything seemed booked, and it made our adventure even more special. We also had the pleasure of meeting Andre, the owner, who could not have been kinder or more welcoming. Whether you’re planning a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Africa or you're a frequent traveler, Ol Lentille should absolutely be on your list. We will definitely be back.

There are so many great things to say about this place. Beautiful accommodations, wonderful game drives, top notch hospitality, breathtaking scenery, and a wonderful cultural immersion experience. This place has it all! I will never forget this place and the way my daughter and I were treated like family. The owner, manager and exceptional staff will go above and beyond to ensure you are well taken care of. If you go (and you should!) do not miss out on any of the activities offered to you or you will be doing yourself a great disservice to interact with and learn about the beautiful, gentle, and kind Masai people. Special shout out to George, Terry, Mary and Felix who are all so warm, kind and experts at their job. They are a huge part of the reason why our experience was so dreamy! Worth every dollar! I spent 2 nights at Ol Lentille in November 2025 and it was not enough. This place is a hidden gem. You travel there to learn more about the Samburu culture and to explore this stunning remote location. Hiking Ol Lentille peak, walking the river bed towards our delicious bush breakfast were a highlight. The lodge is exceptional, the staff are happy, the chef was top notch. Not to mention daily sightings of elephants, birds, antelope and many other safari animals. ( I heard the Leopard but didn't see him!) Highly recommend adding this to your trip - great for the end of a safari so you can stretch your legs on all the walks but still enjoy a sundowner with a view.

This is a resort, with wonderful accomodations! We have seen common zebras, Grevy's zebras, impalas, lots of elephants, dik diks, yellow-billed hornbills, hyrex, etc. all out living in the wild. The accomodations are first rate, and the staff is absolutely marvelous!!!

Absolutely amazing! Stayed a few nights with a small group. The staff is warm and friendly. The food is excellent and the guides knowledgeable. Privacy galore and they tend to your every need. We will be coming back here with the rest of the fam!
