Ol Tukai Lodge is one of those places that simply takes your breath away. The location is absolutely stunning — surrounded by nature, with Mount Kilimanjaro in view and wildlife all around. It’s an incredible feeling to see elephants, zebras, and even giraffes right from your room or while sitting in the restaurant. You don’t just see them — you can even hear them at night, which makes the experience unforgettable.||The staff are wonderful. Many of them take time to share interesting facts and stories about the animals, which shows how much they care about Amboseli and its wildlife. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and simple, with everything you need — including a little coffee station to enjoy the quiet mornings.||The food was excellent — fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavour. The atmosphere of the lodge is unique; the air feels pure and peaceful, and despite being so close to the animals, we always felt completely safe.||Of course, the monkeys are cheeky — they love to steal food and even hiss a little if you get too close — but that’s part of the charm. As long as you don’t panic, they won’t bother you.||I especially want to mention Carol, the bartender (I believe that’s her name). She told us she studied at the Nairobi Bar School — and it really shows in her drinks and her professionalism. She was so kind, welcoming. Let me also highlight Peter. His service is excellent. and they both, but the whole team made us feel truly at home.||Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we definitely plan to come back.|And as we were told with a smile — this time, no helicopter will land right in front of our cottage!
