It is a 35,000 acre community-based conservation area in Kenya, part of the Maasai Mara-Serengeti ecosystem and wildlife dispersal zone. It borders the Maasai Mara National Reserve. It was founded in 2006 as part of a new community conservancy concept. It is run as mutually beneficial partnership between the Maasai and the tour operators. Only selected operator vehicles are allowed to operate here. Excellent opportunities to see the big 5 animals and other wildlife. Need more than a day to view the wildlife in safari jeeps.
