I recently had the chance to try Panamanian cuisine for the first time at La OlaAzul, and wow, what an introduction! Every element of the plate was a star on its own but also harmonized beautifully as a whole. The rice was fluffy and delicately seasoned, complementing the lentils, which were rich, hearty, and cooked to that perfect creamy consistency. The pasta salad provided a cool, refreshing contrast with crisp veggies and a hint of tang. Then, the chicken—juicy, tender, and seasoned in a way that brought out all the flavors of home cooking. Whether I tasted each dish separately or took bites mixing them together, it was pure joy. La OlaAzul truly delivered a perfect introduction to the rich flavors of Panama!
