Old Boulevard

The interior was aesthetic, quiet beautiful atmosphere, and one of the most quiet and less crowded restaurants I’ve ever been to in Batumi. The only downside is that the service was a bit slow. I had to wait quite a while for the soup. But the staff were very polite, and there was one young lady in particular who was especially friendly and always smiling. Unfortunately, I don’t know her name, but she helped me in English during my entire stay and was truly attentive. It was lovely to see such kind and helpful service which is really rare in the area. Also the live accordion music was wonderful. I ordered a salad but forgot to mention that I didn’t want any coriander. Unfortunately, it was included, and since I’m very sensitive to the taste, it reminded me of soap and I couldn’t finish it. It was my own oversight, but I thought I’d mention it for those who may have the same sensitivity. I might revisit again for the lovely atmosphere.

The Restaurant "Old Boulevard" is one of the oldest and well known in the Old Batumi. Very well trained staff, super tasty Georgian meals, good Georgian wine (I tasted home made red wine Saperavi). Pleasant atmosphere with live music that starts after 20.00 and every day they suggest different musicians. Fully recommend for friendly or family evening dinner or lunch in the restaurant.

The food at the restaurant was overall fine, but the service was mediocre. My daughter asked twice for a small side of Parmesan cheese, and the waitress never mentioned that there would be an extra charge. When we got the bill, we were surprised to see an additional 16 GEL. We spoke with the manager and explained that we were never informed about the charge, especially not such an amount and generally, Parmesan is not something restaurants usually charge for. Unfortunately, the manager insisted on keeping the charge and was unwilling to be flexible. In the end, we left with a bitter taste on one hand, the restaurant tries to present itself as upscale, but on the other hand, they argue with customers over Parmesan cheese as if we had asked to take one of their chairs.

The restaurant has excellent food. It is priced slightly higher than other surrounding places but definitely worth it. There were many local specialties we hadn’t heard of. The live music was great as well. They pour very generous glasses of wine.

Absolutely loved our dinner at Old Boulevard - ძველი ბულვარი in Batumi! The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, with beautiful live piano music adding a warm, sophisticated touch to the evening. The Georgian food was simply outstanding—authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Their wine selection is impressive, with both local gems and well-known Georgian wines. The staff were welcoming and professional, speaking Georgian, English, and Russian, which made everything smooth and easy. Whether you're new to Georgian cuisine or a returning fan, this place is a must-visit in Batumi. Highly recommended!

Nice live music – it started around 10 PM I believe. However, the food wasn’t to my taste. This is what the khachapuri looked like. The mushrooms with sulguni cheese were overly greasy, dripping with oil, and there were only 6 pieces on the plate for 22 GEL. The Rkatsiteli wine on tap tasted more like vodka than wine – it had a very strong alcohol flavor. The glass was generous in size, but if you’re a woman, expect to wince and exhale after every sip. I chose to sit inside, assuming there would be air conditioning, but unfortunately, there wasn’t. Overall, I enjoyed the music, but I won’t be coming back.

The service was excellent and fast. The food is reasonably priced, delicious, and filling. The atmosphere is perfect. It’s the best place to visit in Batumi.

Today I visited Old Boulevard, and I can highly recommend it to anyone who loves live blues music and Georgian cuisine. The staff were attentive, and most importantly, they serve the most delicious Adjarian khachapuri in Batumi. Thanks !
