We absolutely loved our one night stop over here. We were given room 2 which was HUGE and had an amazing whirlpool bath big enough for two. The decor was interesting, not bland or corporate, some may consider dated but we loved it. Breakfast was fine and fresh. Parking plentiful. An easy and most enjoyable stay, could have stayed a week and just chilled.

The staff are so very friendly and polite. Our suite was decorated so tastefully with some very historic artifacts remembering James Meredith when he was the first black student at Old Miss in 1963, This was our 2nd stay and we enjoyed both equally. The hotel is small, old, decorated with a modern flair, and very neat. We were meeting some old friends and enjoyed lunch at the Inn, drinks and conversation in our suite before going out to dinner at an old haunt. It's a great place to meet old friend or to stay while traveling or to enjoy a lunch as a local or visitor. It's also a popular location for a wedding party. Its just up the street from the old Capitol in a quiet part of old downtown, easy to and from the interstates.

A hidden gem in Downtown Jackson.||I was in town on business and needed a Suite that I could hold meetings in, and Princeton accommodated me perfectly. The room was very spacious and offered amenities that one would find in an upscale boutique Hotel. ||The property is absolutely charming and clean. I was pleasantly surprised with the outdoor garden area, very well kept and tranquil. And the secure parking is a nice bonus.||And while I was there, I had a front and center view of the Rodeo Parade from my balcony. It was truly a treat and surprise.||I highly recommend The Old Capital Inn for its location, their friendly and professional staff, and the cleanliness.

Google
Check in easy, friendly staff spacious room and breakfast selection was decent. Quite expensive for one night. There was a second attempted charge hours after making payment (lucky it didn’t go through as there wasn’t enough money in the account). Reception confirmed there would be only one charge and this is confirmed days after checkout. Perfect location for an overnight stay in Jackson or want to stay downtown.

The hotel is situated on the main road into Jackson and there is a large car park at the rear. The guy at the front of house was very welcoming and the rooms were lovely. The showers worked well and the pillows etc were very large. Breakfast was taken downstairs. Although it was somewhat limited you could eat outside and it was lovely and quiet, despite being on a main road and about a five minute walk from the capitol building.

Google
This place is absolutely beautiful. It is hands down the best motel in Jackson. Everything is clean and extremely classy. The fountain is beautiful and the ball room is beyond words. The Old Capitol Inn seems like it's out of place in Jackson where everywhere else is filthy and run down. I would think they should be full 7 days a week!! Beautiful, excellent service, nice people and very classy. Would definitely recommend!!

Granddaughter wedding reception was great. Staff and owner was over the top with help and accommodations. We stayed three nights and was happy with everything especially the southern breakfast all from scratch. The wedding was May 31 2024.

Good size rooms, great service, welcoming staff and an old place that is made new again. It was a welcome sight to see the safe and secure gated parking. The night clerk was very friendly and helpful in getting us checked in. The rooms were themed in line with memorable people like Faulkner which was our suite. The complimentary breakfast was especially good with homemade grits, biscuits, fluffy eggs and rich, smooth coffee. There were many other choices, but I did not sample them. The location was perfect for exploring The Museum of Mississippi History and the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum for they were across the street from the hotel. Old Capitol Inn made our stay in Jackson one of our favorite vacations!

Yelp
Y'all already know how this begins... I ran away from home! Every year around the anniversary of my Daddy's death, I run! This time I chose Jackson, MS and Old Capital Inn. I'll start with the biggest "selling" point for me was the secure parking. Traveling alone unnerves those that love me so gated parking worked for me. The fact that the rooms are the cutest things ever was great too. My room had everything you could possibly need, even a towel warmer! Imagine! There was a Keurig with coffee and such on the cute little desk as you walk in. There was also a list of local restaurants in a frame on the desk. Once past the entryway, you enter the bedroom where there was a chair, queen bed and an entertainment center with a television. I loved the list of channels. Who has time to be looking through each one? The bathroom was a typical bathroom but the shower was HUGE! They had shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer and the like. I also had more towels than I could use by myself but you know I did. I think it's safe to say that I enjoy the Inn and my stay! Oh! The parking! I read a few reviews that mentioned getting in the gate was difficult. This doesn't have to be the case. You have to park and check in FIRST. Once you've checked in, they'll give you the code to the open the gate. Make a mental note of that. I can't close without mentioning Wes. My stay at Old Capital Inn wouldn't have happened without him. There was a problem with plumbing and they were going to have to cancel my reservation. Wes called me to tell me of this issue. He was very apologetic and felt so bad for even having to think of canceling my reservation. Since I was already halfway there and driving, I couldn't be looking for another place to stay. He offered to make some calls for me. When he called me back, he had made tentative reservations for me at a place his friend runs. I told him why I was coming to Jackson, and the Inn (Daddy's death anniversary), he felt even worse that he was having to cancel. He called me back and had worked some magic!!! They moved some things around and actually had room for me!! Wes was/is my hero!! I'm so appreciative of all he did for me!! Wes didn't have to go above and beyond for me but he did! Wes will be my forever friend! I'm so thankful! When you check in tell him Billie Faye said hey! With that I'll close my review. I just think you should know that Old Capital Inn and Wes are the best things in Jackson, MS! Peace out!

Yelp
No fridge or microwave. And couch hard as a rock. Will never stay here again. And not a good area to be walking to a restaurant at night

Anne B.

Yelp
Stayed here when driving through from TX to NC. Perfect location, very comfortable rooms, beautiful courtyard & incredibly hospitable staff. Had a perfect light breakfast before getting back on the road. Will definitely make this where we stay when making this trip again.

Yelp
This boutique hotel is a beautiful escape that delights all your senses. From the kind and helpful staff to the lush courtyard to the lovely dining patio to the extravagant ballroom to the quiet suites to the rocking roof garden bar to the warm, full breakfast, this place was built for special occasions like weddings, getaways and more. So grateful for the wonderful hospitality!

BurgerSnob E.

Yelp
Attended a conference. Food quality was mediocre - the general expectation when they're prepping for 400. 40 deg outside and they turn on the AC because the wait staff are hot. The overwhelming majority were freezing. This did not ease the pain of listening to Tater Tot's kool-aid being blindly drunk by the ignorant. I've not stayed here overnight so I can't comment upon guest room accommodations but I would NOT recommend this venue for a conference.

Pookie A.

Yelp
Update. OK, I'll raise this one star. For some reason, I gave them another chance. The same problems still exist, although the staff is very nice. The included breakfast was good, now available after the pandemic has lightened. Normally, I would have still avoided it, but I was the first in the common area, and had gone through, before others started handling the breakfast buffet. I have found out, that the same family has been running this place, since it was converted from being a YWCA (?). I had assumed that it was a vintage inn - dating WAY back. Frankly, Jackson is somewhat of a dump. The downtown is a graveyard. The rooms are a bit overpriced. But, it beats the standard chains, I suppose. I'll probably visit again, because stopping in Jackson, just fits my traveling schedule. It's just such a far cry, from the place it was, in the late 00s.

Yelp
This hotel is lovely. The rooms are spacious and decorated so cute. Super clean and the beds are so soft. Our room had a cute balcony that overlooked a cute garden. The staff was very welcoming. I would recommend this establishment to anyone.

Tracy D.

Yelp
Great experience. Check-in at the front desk was seamless and took two minutes. The room (beautiful, with high ceilings and a comfortable bed) had everything we needed, very clean, and the Wifi was fast. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious with an expansive selection. Parking was also seamless and literally next to the hotel entry door. Location is well-suited to anywhere you might need to go. Highly recommend staying here.

Kaylee P.

Yelp
After our wedding, we spent the night in a Honeymoon suite. The staff was extremely kind and friendly. We got champagne and a breakfast in bed the next morning. The room was definitely worth the price. We would definitely go back!

Charles R.

Yelp
Charming small hotel in great location and very reasonably priced. Rooms are large with separate seating area. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast that can be eaten indoors or in the beautiful garden area. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Jackson.

Yelp
Stayed here for a month when I moved to Jackson in the summer of 2020. I was starting law school that August and my apartment was not ready yet. My stay at the Old Cap Inn was a fantastic experience. The staff is extremely friendly and it is evident that they care about each one of their guests. The rooms are very nice and comfortable while having an old-timey feel to them, which makes staying there a truly unique experience. They have a rooftop bar that was unfortunately closed during my stay due to Covid, but it is a great place to relax for a drink with friends. Also, it is located in the heart of downtown Jackson within walking distance of many interesting attractions and great restaurants. Would highly suggest staying at the Old Capitol Inn if in Jackson, plus they are a popular venue for wedding receptions.

Jon D.

Yelp
We had an amazing weekend here! Our family consists of 2 adults and 4 children and our room was perfect with plenty of room. This hotel decor was perfectly done with pictures from Mississippi in past days. The staff was very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was INCREDIBLE and included home cooked dishes. It was different each day also making you look forward to waking up and going downstairs. The family had the wedding reception here also which the huge banquet room was perfect for. Just a magical weekend and this hotel does not disappoint!!! I recommend you stay here! JD

Yelp
When it comes to soul food, I'm very picky. I feel like if I have to touch salt, pepper, or hot sauce.. it is a fail. When I tell you this has been the best plate of soul food I have ever had in a restaurant. Everything was perfect. I got a sample of all 3 dressings. Ranch, Comeback, and Romano. They were all really good. They start you off with naan and an artichoke cheese dip. It taste similar to rotel. It was yummy. Salad was simple but very good. The kids shared a cheese burger and fries, and a banana pudding and they cleaned it out. This was their celebration for awards day. They were ready to hurry up and eat so they could swim, so that's the explanation of the "not so enthusiastic" looks Food: 10 Service: 10 Atmosphere: it's small and tight but it is beautiful

Papa G.

Yelp
Rooms, lobby, and courtyard are all very nice but the hotel is in a bad part of town with no decent restaurants or bars within walking distance. OCI also desperately needs a bar that has regular hours, and not just the rooftop bar which is only open Thursday to Sunday or for special events. I would also recommend menu items for breakfast because the buffet leaves a lot to be desired. The price is reasonable but given all the points above (especially the part of town) I will definitely be staying at the new Westin property next time I'm in Jackson.

Yvonne W.

Yelp
The best part of this historic sight for me is the Rooftop. Jackson has a few hidden spots in the downtown area that provides access for people to host events overlooking the city. Capitol Inn is one of them. Its not as large as a few others, but it provides a great space for a nice gathering for business purposes or private events. They also have an open outside fireplace in the center that provides a great focal point for any event.

Aaron Ray A.

Yelp
The Old Capital Inn is famous for their spinach and artichoke appetizer dip. I could eat a gallon of it. The food is good and the service great. Located on State Street in downtown Jackson it is a fun place to check out. They also do special seating for most holidays. If the weather is nice you must check out the beautiful courtyard.

Don T.

Yelp
Easily the most enjoyable stay we have had in years. Breakfast in our room was a pleasant surprise, as was the Tesla charger that saved us an hour of charging the next morning. The staff is delightful. We will definitely be back.

Casey D.

Yelp
Super Clean, refreshing, but still holds some charming historic properties. Bathroom was well done, towel warmer, loved the soap and shampoo they had. The bed was cozy with a little balcony view of the courtyard. Wish I had come on a day when the rooftop bar was open because it looked so nice! I'm also sorry to have slept through breakfast because it looked fancy! Fenced in parking, waking distance to the cigar bar and lounge and other downtown places. Oh and the have a little bar downstairs if you did want a drink without leaving. Worth the money!

Tiffany H.

Yelp
Okay I normally don't like to throw the "racist" word around but minorities beware. First of all, there are no black waitress in this establishment. All the black people are either still cleaning rooms or busting tables. When I went to check in the receptionist at the check-in counter was very rude, almost like she couldn't believe a black person was staying there. The waiter at the restaurant acted as if I wasn't even sitting there with my boyfriend (a white male) she treated him better than she treated me! Besides the subtle racism in this place, the rooms are nice and clean. My overall stay was great. The restaurant is really a hidden gem. I had the seafood lasagna and it was to die for. They also have a spinach artichoke dip that is out of this world. & the bread pudding oh my goodness! It's restaurant is not something to be missed, However the hotel and the service leave a lot to be desired.

Yelp
This may be Jackson's best kept secret for quick and fancy dining. It's like eating in an intimate, trendy boutique. I had an eggplant florentine dish that was amazing! Wonderful lunch in a great atmosphere for a great price! The staff was friendly and served us quickly. I'll definitely be back soon! PS - The new lobby bar is a cool addition, too.

Janet W.

Yelp
This hotel has personality and interest. It's not your cookie cutter chain...better than even those billed as boutique. The 2 queen room was perfect since it had a sitting room at the entry with a door closing it off from the bedroom. There were 3 of us, so one person could be showering, while another was sleeping, while the 3rd was in the sitting room. Having our own Keurig was a nice touch to tide us over until we made it down to the complimentary breakfast. The buffet breakfast was a huge step up from the typical chain. I docked them a star for 2 reasons. They use the stairwells to store furniture, so it was off putting not to be able to walk down the stairs by our room. Also, they need an ice machine. You can easily beg some from the 2 kitchens, but it would be much better to be self serve. The location was great. Parking was included. I would stay there again if I'm ever in Jackson.

Robert M.

Yelp
Looking for a quiet place for a weekday business lunch in downtown Jackson within walking of the Capitol? This is a great choice. The menu is relatively modest in scope but particularly well-prepared. Great atmosphere and convenient parking. I plan to go back soon.

Sarah S.

Yelp
The rooms are stylishly updated and comfortable! The best part though is the incredible hospitality shown by the staff and the personal attention and care that the manager extends to delight the guest. I checked in after a very long day of travel and asked the manager what dinner options were available...within 15 minutes he personally delivered a 3-course meal to my room! I was so surprised by the effort he put forward to welcome me and so thankful for the amazing dinner - it was the perfect end to a long day! I would recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when I visit this area.

Yelp
Old Capital Inn, needless to say we were disappointed with our stay this time. We have stayed here a few times in the past and you guys have been great! It's always been clean and smelled good but I have no idea what has changed. I dont even know where to start, maybe with the dirty dingy carpet, or maybe the sticky floors that my shoes and socks stuck to, or maybe the glasses in the room that still had lip prints on them, there may be too many gross things to list. On top of that, our room was in need of some repairs. The ceiling was full of water marks and the walls had patches in them that didnt match the rest of the paint, there was a crack in the stairs that was open and exposed, our bath tub was chipping, and the carpet was so dark and gross I could not believe it looked this way. We stayed in the exact same room about a year ago and it was nothing like this! I know you guys are excited about being greeted with sticky dirty tile the minute you walk in! But guess what there is a bonus, you also get to see all the nasty stuff stuck to the tile caked up in the corners and doorways!! Wow, they really know how to give this place some sex appeal! Only reason I gave them two stars was because we have been here before and know they can do better! Sorry Old Capital Inn, you guys should be ashamed in the difference from one year to the next!

Marlo L.

Yelp
This place is beautiful. Great place for wedding and reception. Staff is great! Very friendly and helpful. Every room has its own theme.

Thuy L.

Yelp
YUM-MEE! Shrimp and grits were absolutely amazing!

Wendy K.

Yelp
Ok this place was outstanding. We could not find a room and just happened to find this. Room was outstanding and breakfast was wonderful. Someone committed that the place was racist because there were no minorities working management jobs. I beg to differ. The manager on duty was a minority and so attentive and helpful. Would have loved to have eaten lunch there. Great place downtown!

Jason H.

Yelp
Stayed at the Old Capitol Inn for 6 days and 5 nights. Hotel grounds are nice. The room was okay. Breakfast was good and the chef always had a great attitude. Housekeeping never made our bed or cleaned the floors while we were there. We were told checkout was at 11:00 AM. Had the do not disturb tag on the door and housekeeping was trying to enter the room at 9:00 AM. She said her sheet already showed we had checked out.

Yelp
On December 29, 2016, my husband and I stayed at the old capitol inn for our honeymoon. The room was fabulous. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom appeared luxurious. After an exhausting and exciting night we immediately went to bed. In the morning we were looking forward to having a relaxing bubble bath. Imagine our shock when we turned on the water and brown liquid ejected from the sprout. We then tried the water in the sink to see if a similar problem occurred and we looked at the water in the toilet. The sink water was brown, yet the toilet water was clear. We immediately notified management. We were outraged when the lady at the desk assigned the problem to Jackson. As locals we were highly offended, especially since the water in the toilet is supplied by the city and the water in the sink, shower and tub are supplied by the hotel. We then asked to speak to her boss, who then apologized and gave an additional excuse of plumbing problems. At this point we were just ready to go. We did not use any water supplied by the hotel and ended up going to our parent's home for clean water. We later called the hotel and asked to speak to the owner. After being informed of her/his absence, they took our number and said she/he would call. We left the hotel at 11 am and by 11 pm on December 29, 2016 we still did not receive a phone call. Seeing as today is Monday, January 30, 2017 and we have yet to receive a call, we are very upset. I love Jackson and completely support the city. I highly suggest if one visits Jackson please do not stay at Old Capitol Inn. Again we do NOT blame the city of Jackson, we blame the Old Capitol Inn.

Tom K.

Yelp
Fantastic find! Like staying with family! Quaint Inn with wonderful, spacious rooms, friendly and truly helpful service, and a gorgeous courtyard for an urban locale. Only a few blocks from the state capitol and the restaurant zone. On site lunch dining a pleasant surprise. Rooms tastefully decorated, comfortable bed. Only dig is that the bath was a bit old, especially the shower insert...would be five stars if nicely tiled and lit. Will stay again.

Claire G.

Yelp
What a cute little find! Great price...great location...cute hotel...much quainter than a chain! Our room 24 was small but delightful...no tub but great shower and cute balcony overlooking the garden and coi pond...the roof garden is awesome! Wish we could have spent more time here...ate dinner just around the corner at La Finestra which was also a fun find! Totally recommend this place...clean...service friendly and excellent! If you like character this is the place to stay!

Bridget M.

Yelp
We had the best time here!! The staff was so sweet and ESP the young man working the front desk. Our room was so charming and perfect! Our room looked out onto the courtyard and it was beautiful. We went to breakfast the next morning and it was like something out of Southern Living! Absolutely delicious and the details were impeccable! The tomato gravy was to die for! This is a family owned business and a special place for a great getaway or just traveling through and looking for something unique! Can't wait to go back soon!

Staci P.

Yelp
The staff is slow but very nice! The Old Capitol Inn smells like an old capitol, musty and outdated but with lots of charm. We checked in to a room with two comfy queen sized beds that faced the court-yard and a tiny balcony overlooking a coy pond with some of the biggest coy fish I have ever seen! The room was nice, and the bathroom was mildly updated with walk in shower and a very creaky plastic door and handle. There is a pretty baller rooftop deck that provided an amazing view! I wish I had known more about it or that the chairs had cushions so that i could have enjoyed sitting and working out there. Breakfast was nice the next morning, the eggs from the buffet were fantastic and i enjoyed the sausage and fresh fruit, coffee was ok too. The only really complaint I have is that there was no mention (at the time of making the reservation or check in) that there would be an event in the ballroom. There are several reasons this ballroom banquet should have been mentioned, 1. It was a Tuesday Night, 2. the ballroom banquet party did not start until 9pm, 3. it was hosted for a large group of high school athletes and 4. There was a live band. Ohhh and 5! the Ballroom (which is beautiful by the way) opens to that beautiful courtyard that my room faced. I was able to put earbuds in and drown out most of it and luckily the party ended promptly and midnight (despite the hardworking man at the front desk telling me it would be over at 11pm). There was no getting room assistance or questions answered after the party began because it seemed there was no one minding the front desk after 8:30 or so. I would totally give this place another chance if only to have dinner or drinks with friends on the rooftop perhaps with some live music drifting up from the ballroom even.

Yelp
We were driving through Jackson on the way home to Austin and were lucky enough to get the last room available at this wonderful boutique hotel. First off, the staff was super nice, gave great directions, and did not scoff at us at all when our very road-worn butts clomped into the airy, lovely lobby. Our room in this former YWCA was small but clean and pretty, with a gigantic tv and a really big shower with the multiple heads pulsing you with road-grime-eliminating warmth and goodness. After unloading our stuff and changing clothes, we were directed to a local restaurant and drank some Mississippi-brewed beer (delicious) and stumbled back to our hotel. We were given glasses of wine by the delightful man on call (because we had missed the complimentary happy hour) and told to head up to the rooftop garden and enjoy the quiet. Everyone else in the hotel was already asleep I guess (it was maybe 1030?) and we were given free reign of the pool and hot tub. So so nice of them to offer. However, we just sat on the roof on some cozy lounge chairs got a little bit shitfaced and then hobbled off to bed. Slept like a rock on very cozy mattress and soft cotton sheets. A big plus to the hotel were the tiny aveda products in the bathroom. So much nicer than that normal hotel goo. Breakfast was self-service: eggs, grits, sausage, fresh fruit (watermelon and other hand fruit), juice and coffee. There is a lovely dining room as well as seating on the patio. Delightful. When traveling by car, sometimes it is worth it to drop an extra 30 bucks for a nice experience. Our room was $110. More than I usually like to spend on a quick overnight, but it turned out to be sooooo worth it.

Robert P.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem for lunch! My favorite place for lunch when I'm in the area. Nice setting with a patio, great service and selection. Usually only 6-7 choices for lunch but cover most of the area favorites. This trip had the red fish and shrimp and grits and they were both awesome! Menu changes quite often to keep things interesting.

Robert Lana M.

Yelp
Great Find!!! Great Location right off interstate 55. Stayed in the suit, very spacious and clean. Shower was wonderful. The breakfast was hot and good. We will stay here again.

Robert C.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem. The rooms were fantastic, the staff extremely helpful and appreciative, the food excellent and the rooftop bar with live music was incredible. Stay here! You will not regret it. My favorite place in Jackson area to stay.

Brittany S.

Yelp
Attended a wedding here. Staff was super nice. Food was good. Location was beautiful.

Shelly S.

Yelp
Wow! What a wonderful place all around. We were in town for production, filming interviews and rented the grand ballroom and downstairs conference area. The hotel is decorated so beautifully, the staff is SUPER friendly and helpful, the food is FANTASTIC! We at lunch each day in the lunch area, what we got for lunch was like a dinner meal and they serve artichoke dip with each sit down. What you pay for this amazing food is about $10 a person... so worth it, plus more. The bathrooms are even amazing... I really enjoyed this. I viewed the rooms, two-levels! Beautiful! Such a great place if you are a production company looking to rent space for filming/shooting, or a bride looking for a place to get married, a hotel to stay in Jackson, MS, or a place to take a client for breakfast or lunch (or a friend for their birthday). Mindy, who owns the hotel is simply amazing! She really went out of her way for us, along with her front desk hotel staff. Everyone is so kind and the place is very clean. Just love the decorations and how it's all put together. Great taste, great work Mindy -- Thank you Old Capitol Inn for this wonderful experience. Side note: All television production companies, if you need a location to rent for shooting or filming sit down interviews or creative place for b-roll. This is your spot in Jackson, MS - you can really spread out in that ballroom. Lot's of great nuggets and great depth of field. Thanks again!!!

Olive V.

Yelp
Great outdoor lunch. Delicious mango tea wonderful salad. Lovely outdoor garden area. Very very nice.

Katheryn K.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place, I travel frequently and it's the best place I have stayed in the last 4yrs. The ambiance is gorgeous, there is gated parking and a roof top garden. They upgraded our room for no reason at all and we had a balcony over the court yard garden. Nice thoughtful things they had in the rooms included an umbrella to use while visiting in case it rained as well as his and her bath robes. The location is perfect for touring downtown and the old Capitol museum has historic downtown walking maps that include the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and upscale for it being complimentary. Sadly most rooms don't have a fridge, but that's ok. We were sad that we didn't stay more than one night at this hotel. When booking I was initially skeptical that it being historic that it would be a little rough around the edges or have a musty smell and I was completely wrong it was none of the above.

Patti M.

Yelp
Loved this place! It's a great find in Jackson...older, but updated...great ambiance. When we checked in, Princeton couldn't have been any more helpful...he did it all ...recommendations on the area and other useful info. Their rooftop deck had just reopened and was lovely with live entertainment. Breakfast included, but can't comment as we slept in! Definitely a good spot.

Yelp
my fiance and i recently attended a wedding reception at the old capital inn. being in downtown jackson, i expected something old and stuffy. i was suprised by the space. it is an old hotel but they have furnished it so that is more like an upscale boutique hotel. they have a large sized room complete with stage where the reception was held. the room had a level of tables and chairs above--think like a new orleans style balcony in the french quarter. the room opened up into a small courtyard like area. it had a fountain and a small pond with a bridge and even some koi. the outside courtyard was scenic and relaxing. i cannot vouch for the rooms as we did not stay there. however, if you are going to have a wedding reception in the jackson,ms, area, then this is an excellent space to use.

DeTria T.

Yelp
Awesome and beautiful. It was a pleasant surprise! It's decor is so upscale until it caused me to feel as if I was well-to-do just because I was able to stay there. Very affordable and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

Sassy P.

Yelp
Very disappointed in this hotel. Our "suite" (6'x8' LR?) was right on the front...so we were privy to every car or truck that rattled by, all night long. The remote control didn't work....so we had to unplug the tv to turn it off! Toilet ran all night, safe was locked and wouldn't open, and the coffee maker wouldn't work! Staff was very nice, but we won't be back!

Manfred B.

Yelp
Nice small B&B in downtown Jackson. Friendly staff. Every suite is different.
