Old City Hall

Interesting building. Didn't get to the site but can see that it's huge from afar.

The place of the old city government. At the moment you can't talk to the building and some excavations are being done. Certainly not something you have to see if you are here, but the Roten Rathaus, where the current seat of the city government is and a building that is a beautiful red color, is a 5-minute walk away, and if you are already visiting, you can also see these.

This building is the former city hall of Berlin, but now the Senate of Berlin. It's a grand building in the sense of size, but not in architecture. It's okay, but don't waste your time. It's not even open to the public, so all you'll do is go and see a big building. It's not stunning, it's not amazing and it's not eye-catching. It's just big. This building is totally overrated. 4 of the reviews (about half the reviews) are by one person who gave it 5 stars each time which totally skews the rating!

This building was very close to the hotel. As with a lot of buildings in Berlin, there are lots of amazing details on the building.

The old city hall of Berlin, the building is very imposing and it’s too visible from long distance. The building is now being used by senate. Built in 1902-11 it was to supplement Rotes Rathaus which is just across the road. It has been restored in 1990s and it’s grandness is back.

I love the shade of the grey stone Texturally pleasing

If you are in the area, walk by and enjoy the architecture. It isn't open to the public but it is a lovely building to look at.

This old traditional building is always a very wonderful and great venue for great and major events in Berlin, near the house of the major of the state Berlin!!
