The beds, linens and the bathrooms are clean and smell fine. The upholstery bench in the room was kind of gross with stains. The location, price, and the shuttle was AWESOME for us. Also, I think it's good to mention that it was quiet and temperate. I appreciate that very much when we are only here to sleep and relax.

Pros: Nice location, close to King Street where all the fun stores are, close to the Potomac River and close to the Airport. The manager was very friendly. The free shuttle does pick ups and drop offs at the Airport, subway station and downtown Alexandria which was so helpful. We used the shuttle everyday. Our room was comfortable and they offered a free continental breakfast. The city of Alexandria, VA is beautiful. Cons: there are no elevators in this hotel so if you can't climb stairs (about three flights) to the second floor and also to the breakfast room which is downstairs from the lobby you might not be able to stay here. If you don't mind stairs then it's a lovely place to stay. Also, my shower floor was very slick. I fell in the shower twice. Would be nice to have a bar to hold on to or non-slip on the shower floor. Not handicap friendly, but still enjoyed this hotel, it's staff and the beautiful town.

We had a wonderful experience with our stay this past week. The staff was wonderful and the room was clean and nice !! The convenience of the shuttle was a life saver, we were able to go back and forth to the metro with ease and didn't have to worry about driving into town for dinner, the shuttle was able to take us and pick us up. The breakfast was great, they had a make your own waffle station, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, bagels and more ! We will definitely stay here the next time we visit DC !!

This was our first stay here. The rooms were very nice. The bathrooms were older and not very elaborate, but very clean and functional. Plenty of hot water with excellent water pressure. The upstairs snack room was full of various snacks, but for our crew of workers, we mainly hit the coffee dispenser and the ice cream sandwiches and drumsticks from the freezer. There is a pub and a few other eateries within a few blocks' walk and the entire area just seemed very nice. Driving down to King Street for the bulk of the restaurants wasn't a problem, but that area seems to lack parking in general. The hotel has a decent parking lot and a small covered parking area also. Great value for your money here. Loved the Christmas decor.

All of the employees were VERY kind and helpful. It was very centrally located to our venue. It's not a brand new hotel but very clean. Their shuttle to the airport and downtown was a big perk. Breakfast was good. I'd definitely stay here again.

I loved staying here for the 4 days we were in Virginia. The management and employees were so polite and kind. They were very gracious towards my large family and I. The motel room was very clean and well kept, room service always did a wonderful job. Free shuttle service that drove us to airport and around town, free breakfast and tea/coffee availability near the front desk. Very beautiful inside and outside the motel. We loved it, will make this the place we stay the next time we come visit Virginia.

The staff at this location makes the whole experience so special. Mohamed is the well dressed gentleman at the front desk. He works hard to make your stay the best possible. Shawn, is your safe, friendly shuttle driver. You also will find him working to keep the property spiffy clean. The lady that provided breakfast has to be complimented. The food was fresh and tasty. She kept the surrounding area clean and she was always so pleasant. I suspect she made the homemade cookies in the evening. This place was in a great location but it's the people that I would return again for. Thank you for your kind service.

This place is old. They have made a few upgrades to the sink and shower/bathtub. But the whole room could use updating. I had a very loud window unit that made it difficult to fall asleep but I didn’t want to get hot so I left it on. I don’t think all rooms have a window unit as I only saw 1 unit from the outside. So maybe request to not get that particular room. The parking is NOT free. It’s $5 a day. They have coffee and water all day in the little lobby where you check in. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The housekeeping staff rock. They’re a little slow but they are willing to get you anything you need. Check in is at 3 and my room wasn’t ready by 6... which I found strange but they were so nice about it and wanted my room to be perfect. They have a small but nice business center where you can print out tickets or anything you need free of charge. The breakfast is decent. Usually eggs and sausage or bacon, waffles, and your typical cold breakfast bar. The workout room could use some newer and more equipment but you’ll still be able to get in a decent workout. Overall this place is clean and a nice place to stay. It’s not like a chain hotel so don’t expect it to be super nice, it’s more like a motel. It’s in a good location, $7-$8 uber ride to Old Town.
