Stay was great. Most painless check in process we have ever had and the staff was very attentive when we checked in and had breakfast. It's a beautiful old house and the room was perfect. The antique furniture and wood stove in our room really made us feel the history of the building. When we come back to Providence, this will be where we stay.

I booked this hotel through a Groupon and thought I was getting a good deal. The hotel is quaint and old and smelled great. But the floors are wooden and loud and creaky and need area rugs. There are no amenities in the rooms except a hair dryer. When I walked in the door I had to pay $10 extra her night. Parking is $30 per night plus and $8 fee. I decided 2 park at premium parking where it was covered and around the corner. The hotel is in a good location within walking distance of everything so that was nice. The staff were very nice as well.

The staff was the sweetest group of individuals!! We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. They went out of their way to get us vegan milk for breakfast, everyone was super cordial, and we had sweet classical music to listen to for breakfast also. The hotel itself is SO charming if you love the excessive luxury of Victorian era Rococo Revival theme! All the deatils are perfect to match with the theme and every piece of furniture/decoration there is unique and brings you back in time. Definitely would recommend for those who are history buffs or just want a pleasant b&b experience!!

My family stayed at the Old Court for a long weekend while visiting Brown University. This was my first trip to Providence and it was fantastic. The rooms were very comfortable, the staff was outstanding. We enjoyed the walking distance to area sights, recommended by the inn keeper and to Brown, excellent made to order breakfast and the special treats Patty made for us while we were there. I would recommend this Bed & Breakfast very highly.

Outstanding experience! Grade A+ breakfast and quiet, roomy and clean accomodations. It is nice to see a business run so well. Maintaining an old building can be difficult and this place has exceeded expectations. I have travelled all over the world and can tell you this compares to any place and exceeds even the most we'll run establishments.

The Old Court is a restful, historic B&B walking distance from Brown, RISD and Providence's vibrant, walkable neighborhoods. I loved staying there. It has so much character but still important modern updates like a really comfortable mattress and excellent shower. The owner and staff were the perfect balance of friendly, welcoming, and respectful of my privacy. This is the best place to stay in Providence!!!

I stayed here in my first night in the United States. It's an easy walk away from the train station, down the hill from Brown and RISD, so it's easy to find. As soon as you cross the door, you will be transported back in time to a quaint New England Colonial home. I was given a choice between two different accommodations, so I stayed at the Milwaukee room. Mattress was heavenly comfortable, and the decor is exquisite and inviting. Breakfast is massive and delicious, prepared right away. I chose the spinach omelet and it was out of this world. I wholeheartedly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Wonderful, comfy conveniently located with beautiful authentic antiques adorning the rooms. Max and team make you feel like a special houseguest. A far more personalized calm environment than most hotels. Real breakfast, fresh fruit muffins, eggs and the works. As if that's not enough, you are tempted with fresh baked cookies to go with ever available tea service. A jewel.
