Old Estate Hotel & SPA

The hotel is located in a quiet side street. You can comfortably walk to the kremlin along Pskova River from there.||The staff at the front desk were friendly and had a good command of English.||Unfortunately, breakfast is not available before 8 am. But we were offered to get it earlier which we took advantage of. This individually prepared breakfast was of very good quality and the service was excellent.||The hotel has a beautiful, appropriately heated indoor swimming pool. However, it is free of charge in the morning only (until 12:00) which is a drawback of the hotel and very unusual by international standards.||We had booked a superior room which proved to be bright and spacious. It was nicely decorated, had a soft carpet and many lamps.||There were all the furnishings expected in a 4-star hotel except for a water kettle.||The TV offered many programs, but there were no international channels whatsoever.||Accessing the Wi-Fi turned out to be problematic as the instruction provided in the room did not work. In the end the staff at the front desk managed to establish a connection.||||If the issues mentioned above are resolved the hotel is predestined to get an excellent rating.

Everything in this hotel were nice! Location, service, polite staffs, atmosphere... Food in restaurant were fresh and delicious, well served... A lot of local people think that this is the best restaurant in city nowadays. ||Suddenly I had no time to get some treatment in spa. It's seems to be good... ||So, strongly recommend!)||Only one disadvantage: we couldn't by any food at night... Fruits and cheese only were cuted for us... ;)

This was very nice place to stay during my motorcycle trip. The road to the hotel did not promise much, but when I turned my bike to the yard, my mind changed. Very helpful english-speaking staff, nice and clean rooms, what can a traveler want more ? Yes, beer was nice and cool too. The spa was nice, although there was some language barrier (my bad, I was lazy when studied russian), but the friendly attitude of the receptionist fixed all. The dinner in the restaurant was good, and the breakfast OK. Short walk to the kreml, and if you take the pedestrian bridge, you arrive to the marketplace with lots of all.

Rooms are clean, well maintained. Spa center offers wide opportunities of treatments. All staff is very kind and polite. Very talantive hairdresser. Each evening live music at the restaurant - good and beautiful singer. Good location of hotel. Great price for the wonderful quality of everything.

A nice quaint hotel in a quaint city in Russia. The staff are excellent and helpful. The rooms are kind of bed and breakfast type rooms. The breakfast was quite good. They provided a box lunch for the morning we checked out because we left before the regular schedule.

It's one of the TOP-3 Pskov hotels. Located in a area where you can see both really poor and really rich houses (go behind it if you want to be a bit shocked by the contrast) 5 min walk from city center. The hotel is exactly how it should be - spacious rooms, friendly and efficient stuff, enough facilities and a bit of an old style in it. Hotel has 1 restaurant and 1 bar Rublev where you can also have a nice dinner (for much cheaper). Actually it doenst matter much which one to choose - you can ask for a menu from both and choose whatever you want. Food is a bit expensive in the first one but truly delicious so worthwhile. You might be a bit lonely if you're on your own in the main restaurant, not many visitors unless it's some kind of wedding event which happens sometimes, so go to Rublev instead. I stayed in this hotel when I came in Pskov for my business trip and now when I live in Pskov, I regularly pop up to have a nice coffee with cinnamon or go to massage or haircut/manicure (they have a little spa+hairdresser+beauty salon). Also in case you stay in executive room - it's on a mezzanine and has some kind of truly old staircase (I believe the building itself is from previous centuries)
