Google
Simple place selling mostly prepackaged food that's convenient to pick up for a quick bite or keep in the car while spending the day in Yellowstone. Like most of Yellowstone, don't expect high-end fine dining and you'll be fine.

Google
Good place for a drink and snack. They offer a variety of drinks. Friendly service. A little pricy, but you are in the park. The Parmagam chicken wings were excellent.

Google
All pre-packaged food. More of a snack bar than a deli. You even get the pleasure of heating up your own sandwich in the single microwave which you share with all other patrons who also want hot food.

The deli is in the historic Old Faithful Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stopped there for the huckleberry ice cream which is an excellent treat after a hot day walking in the park.

Google
I thought this place was made to order subs/sandwiches. No! It was all prepackaged garbage. I wouldn’t feed it to my dog. We threw most of it away. Go over to the main dining hall and get the buffet.

Could be good, but isn't currently. Long line. Not enough staff. Kids Milk carton we bought was sour so had to have manager pour us some fresh milk. Oatmeal on the menu is just a pre packaged container. I had to ask the manager to set out a hot water dispenser since the others weren't hot anymore. Don't recommend- but there aren't really other options...

Google
Got a double here with huckleberry and bunny track (like a fudge with chocolate coated peanut). Both flavors were amazing!! Not overly sweet and creamy. Would certainly recommend anyone to grab a cub and enjoy the view from the second floor observation deck.

After our family finished eating, we ordered ice creams. The ice creams tasted good, but the staff took our order with a very unfriendly and annoyed tone and facial expression, I am really disappointed by the attitude of the staff who have not received basic training.

Yelp
I grabbed a pre-made sandwich, a bag of chips, and huckleberry ice cream. The cost was pretty steep, which is common in the park. I wish the sandwiches were not-premade, but I get that they're trying to get as many people in and out as possible. The ice cream was worth it though. You have to try it at least once somewhere in the park, and this location had one of the cheapest prices. As a comparison, Yellowstone Lake has some for about 7.50$ a scoop. There are a few tables inside, but I took my food outside to watch Old Faithful. Since this location is a major point of interest, it gets very busy.

Yelp
This was a decent place inside of Old Faithful Inn to grab some food. It is more of a grab-and-go type place that serves you cafeteria style. They have burgers, sandwiches, soups, drinks and snacks on the left side of the line. Ice cream is on the right side. I came here early and wanted to get some breakfast. They actually have a variety of breakfast options for you to choose from. I ended up getting a breakfast sandwich with egg and ham and coffee and ate outside on a bench. Without a lot of food options in Yellowstone National Park, I was just happy to get something in my stomach. That pretty much sums up my experience here.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch while driving around the National Park and wasn't impressed. This is your typical tourist trap of a cafeteria where you grab what you want from different stations and get in line to pay. The power was out the whole time we were in there so everyone was using their flashlights to find food. You couldn't pay with a credit card so if that's all you had, they made an old school pressed copy of it and charged you later when the power came back. I opted for the rice bowl with steak and veggies. The rice was very mushy and the veggies were bland. I enjoyed the peanut sauce but it wasn't spicy like they kept warning people. The steak was very tough and didn't seem that fresh. I'd recommend packing a lunch or bringing in better food from a local restaurant outside of the park.

Yelp
Same old menu every where. No ambiance closed. Hours not mentioned. Place looked open but they will not seat us

T. N.

Yelp
Not a ton of variety but their sandwiches are really tasty and the ice cream is great! This is basically the place to head to if you don't have time to wait for a table in the main restaurant. But it hit the spot and I recommend it if you're pressed for time or need something quickly. Not a lot of seating so you may have to find somewhere to sit outside

John H.

Yelp
This was the best option we found for Yellowstone dining. It was reasonably priced and decent pre packed food. The service is quick and the ambiance is good for a grab and go.

Mark N.

Yelp
Nothing special here. Decent coffee and pre-made wraps and sandwiches to get you by. Let's put it this way. You'll remember Old Faithful the rest of your life, but you will forget the food there in hours.

Steve A.

Yelp
Considering the sandwiches here are prepackaged, they are surprisingly good, well-being stuffed with fresh ingredients. There also an assortment of to-go snacks and ice cream to enjoy while you wait for the geyser.

Yelp
What I got: Double Scoop Huckleberry and Moose Tracks ice cream ($4.75) Pros: - This was my first time trying Huckleberry flavor and I highly recommend it, it is a unique flavor, closest to blueberry and very popular in these parts of town. - Very creamy and thick like a good quality churned ice cream. - The lady who scoops the ice cream gives you huge scoops, even if you got the single scoop it's like she gives you double. - According to my tour guide this is one of the oldest ice cream parlors, the inn itself is the largest cabin in the US and is 150 years old. - You can get some ice cream and watch the Old Faithful geyser erupt. Cons: - Lines can be a bit long - No tasting, I know some ice cream and gelato places let you try the flavors before buying but there isn't that much time to do that here.

Yelp
Located inside the Old Faithful Inn. This deli had two lines-- the right was ice cream and the left was grab-and-go foods, coffee, and such.. Decently priced. When I thought of deli, I thought it was going to be a made-to-order sandwich but everything was pre-made and packaged in the cooler. Found a couple vegan options and the lady at the cash register raved about their Hummus Wrap and she wasn't wrong.. it was better than expected. There were also Falafel Bites and they were okay. I think cold falafels just aren't for me.. the sauce it came with made it better. I did not check for any vegan options on the ice cream side. There's no where to eat inside but plenty of places outside of this store and inside the hotel.

Yelp
Besides the Old Faithful Inn Dining Room there's the Bear Paw Deli which is a few feet away outside of the Inn. Knowing that you have to go outside of the Inn is useful especially when the weather suddenly and randomly changes from clear to rainy or otherwise. The deli has sandwiches and snacks but we came mostly in search of ice cream. They have a good selection including interesting flavors like huckleberry and moose tracks. Very cheap too at only around $3. They also have a water refilling station and that was super useful.

Marissa C.

Yelp
Your basic deli and coffee shop. Ice cream shop to the right. All the food is pre-packaged, so if you have allergies, you're probably out of luck. Coffee was mediocre and espresso shots could have been better. Good news is you can come back for free coffee refills...unless that's not allowed and we just accidentally didn't get caught?

Khaled A.

Yelp
I'm basically rating the ice cream they serve, Wilcoxson (I think that's the brand they serve I might be wrong), rather than the place itself. Also given we tried this ice cream in two other places will combine all our experiences in this review. We tried the moose track, huckleberry and salted caramel. In our first experience we ordered one scoop of each moose track and huckleberry. The portions were huge! The moose track is basically vanilla with pieces of peanut butter covered in chocolate. Both the moose track and huckleberry were good but thought they weren't rich enough. We liked the moose track more mainly because of the chocolate pieces which gave it some flavor. Our second experience we shared the salted caramel sundae and it was amazing! Basically it's salted caramel ice cream, fudge, caramel sauce And cherries. The caramel sauce gave it the flavor that it was lacking in our first experience. Also I wouldn't mind losing the cherries for more fudge. Overall if you want ice cream from one of Yellowstone villages shops go with the sundae and not regular scoops.

Yelp
Frozen egg sandwich. I ordered a chai latte which was scalding hot and had coffee in it. All this for a hefty price. Disgusting and disrespectful to your clients Yellowstone National Park.

Yelp
Yellowstone National Park, Wy. So if you're staying at the inn and the main dining hall has no available tables for hours, this is your alternative and it is a suitable choice albeit there will be no fine dining here. The last time I had a buffalo burger was in Wyoming 40 years ago and got very ill, haven't touched one since. Here they are called bison burgers. So what the hell, I tied one. Very good, thick patty, juicy, nice bun. There was also bison chili which was very tasty, and even fresh salad. Of course there were some nice beers to choose from because after all, this is the bar. Dessert was ok but I don't even remember what it was (Not memorable apparently). My only concern was how long it took for the server to come to our table after being seated. Once we were on her schedule though things moved along ok.

Yelp
This place is an absolute rip off of a dive. They sell you on a luxurious Nature amenity filled experience. Do not believe the advertisement. For $500 per night the best amenity offered is the 2 ply toilet paper. Horrible costumer service, filthy room as if it hasn't been occupied in weeks. Hope you don't get hungry or need ice. You will need to walk 1/4 mile to the ski lodge for food and the general store for ice. Yeah because there is no fridge or any type of modern amenities. I'd at least like to experience some comfort for $500 per night. Camping is a better option at least you know what you're in for as an experience.

Yelp
I wish we had eaten in the deli across the road, but my husband wanted some easy grab and go sandwiches to take with us. I had the ham/cheese crossaint which was horrible. It tasted very stale and had nothing else on it, no tomato, salad, cucumber or anything making this bone dry sandwich eatable. I used 2 packs of mayo and mustard, still not that much better. I ate a couple of bites and tossed the rest. My husband said his was so-so and could have benefited from anything else besides bread and meat. That was a lot of wasted money for me, I'd recommend going across the road to the lodge and get something decent.

Nouf A.

Yelp
Rip offffffff don't waste your money, get your tint with you you would have way better experience

Julia R.

Yelp
This deli was much better than what I expected, based on what people had told me! There were a variety of pre made sandwiches, chips, snacks and coffee. The turkey sub was okay, and filled me up. There just isn't enough seating in this place for all of the people in there!

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Stop in for a nice ice-cream! What a delicious treat on a hot summer day. This little stop was exactly what we needed. Staff was friendly, we pulled up a seat at a nice high table to chit-chat for a few. Not too overpriced Stop in!

Gwen K.

Yelp
I had a excellent experience at this deli. I ordered a chai tea and scone. They were both delicious. And the best service!! I was kind of amazed, I was a happy customer.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
We stopped in to get an ice cream and the portions were incredibly generous. Service was really good even though the line was pretty long. I can't really speak to the breakfast food there, I ate at the buffet at the Inn and really enjoyed doing so. If you are reading this before you go on your journey, pay heed to the lack of reasonably priced breakfast items that you can take with you on a picnic. Go to Costco get 12 bagels, and a dozen single serving size packets of cream cheese. Pack a cooler! I'm pretty sure that we saved bunches of money that way. Treat yourself--definitely go there for the ice cream.

Justin M.

Yelp
Nice, quick option for lunch or dinner. You can also order a picnic lunch for pick up the next morning so you can take it along as you explore other areas in the park. The picnic lunch option comes with a sandwich, a bag of chips, a granola bar, and a large bottle of water. I enjoyed the Dagwood sandwich. The ice cream here is popular as well. It was fun to grab a huckleberry ice cream cone, then watch Old Faithful erupt from the second floor deck.

Jack T.

Yelp
Ice cream was well worth the stop. The Huckleberry came highly recommended and I'm glad I tried it! Nice place!

Marie C.

Yelp
If you're looking for a quick service breakfast or some dessert in the Old Faithful area, stop by the Bear Paw Deli. While the breakfast choices were routine, the service was quick and friendly. For dessert, I highly recommend an ice cream cone - very generous servings and the local flavor specialty - huckleberry.

Dwight M.

Yelp
Had the best Huckleberry Ice Cream. Very generous in the servings. Enjoyed this Deli a lot. Would recommend to anyone.

Yelp
The service was very good but I am rating the food quality for the money you paid for was not good. The buffet dinner was $30 each person and you get prime rib which was nice and tender. You also get beans, some vegetable and chicken dish which looked dry and I did not taste it. There was also a corn dish with cheese and not very appetizing. As far as soups, I was expecting choices but only one vegetable soup was offered. There was also a confusion on the menu which says you get trout and prime rib and Chicken but I found out that you only get prime rib that night. It is certainly a lot to pay for when you only have two meat dishes to eat and some vegetables and limited variety of salads. I will not come back for the buffet at this place. I do understand that this is a restaurant in a National Park and the food supply have to be transported from afar. The decor of the Old Faithful Inn is very nice and historical up the food did not match my expectations.
