We stayed here for just 1 night but I wish we had stayed longer! We had a 2-bed cabin which was more updated and spacious than I was led to believe from other reviews. It was very clean and I felt like we had plenty of room. The bathrooms were fine, like camping bathrooms, but you can use them inside the Lodge as well. They were close to our cabin which was great. We didn't like that the cafeteria was only open from 11am-8pm; not very convenient for us so we never actually ate there. Coffee bar was fine, but very busy in the morning. However, you can't beat the proximity to Old Faithful! We saw it 4 times in the less than 24 hours we stayed here. The lobby has the predicted times for all the geysers also, and it was a short walk to the Visitor's Center, which was really cool. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful 5 day stay at the Cabins at Old Faithful Lodge. We were fortunate to get a cabin on the end facing the woods and Old Faithful, so it was shaded during the day. The cabins were clean and odor free. Housekeeping came daily to remove trash and put fresh towels. A couple tips if you plan to stay there - no mini-frig, coffee maker or microwave. So it you want to provide your own meals bring a bit cooler (they have ice machines) and a small electric coffeemaker. A cup of coffee in the park is at least $3 and food is very expensive. They only provide hand towels for showers and there are no outdoor chairs. So it you want to sit outside bring your own chairs. There is a lovely river and wooded area next to the cabins for hiking. We saw Bison just across the river. Rent bear spray when you get to the park and carry it with you. We saw bison and brown bears very close to public areas.

We enjoyed a week in a cabin here. Most days we left our vehicle at the cabin and spent the day “on foot” hiking, walking, etc. The Old Faithful area is a wonderful hub for so many great trails and scenic experiences (Mallard Lake, Fern Cascades, Howard Eaton to Lone Star, Mystic Falls, etc). Our cabin was clean and cute. It was a fun surprise to find that the “peephole” in our cabin door refracted the late afternoon sun and made a “grand prismatic”-like circle on the wall! Since there is no air conditioning, guests need to remember to “work” their surroundings: close curtains during the day; open windows in the evening, etc. Prices are a bit high, but understand that this is a “premium” location, and isolated from the outside world - everything has to be hauled into the park from great distance. Staying in the cabins offers so much, though, in terms of what you can see and do in this heart of Yellowstone.

The lodge cabins are small but comfortable. The campground is very nice and the lodge is accessible, as is the inn and snow lodge. The parking is good and if you know where you are, it’s easy walking/ driving to other areas of old faithful. You can see old faithful erupt from the lodge, which is less crowded. Lovely.

This was my second time staying at Old Faithful Cabins. Staying inside the park offers opportunities to explore more of what Yellowstone has to offer. It can get extremely crowded at popular sites. Staying in the park allows you to visit these places before and after the daily rush. If you are planning a visit to Yellowstone allow a week of visiting to get the most enjoyment that the park offers. It could take a few hours or a whole day just to drive 10-20 miles depending on what is happening as you drive by….bison walking in the road, a grizzly bear or black bear with cubs walking along a nearby creek, elk grazing in the grass, wolves, etc. You cannot do Yellowstone in 2 days.

We stayed in one of the lodge cabins as a couple. It’s very small but fine considering you’re spending your whole day out enjoying the park. We found it to be comfortable. They provide a fan and you can open the windows so it doesn’t get too hot in there in the summer. There is not very good WiFi but you’re staying in a NATIONAL PARK so that is to be expected. We loved the location. Being right next to old faithful and right in the village was amazing. We could walk to all our meals and trails nearby. We got to see old faithful erupt many times while walking to and from various parts of the village. I would 100% recommend staying in the park for the convenience. For the cabin it was only about $250 a night which is a great price considering you are staying feet away from old faithful in a beautiful national park. It is worth the price to wake up and walk to a beautiful view. We were able to see many bison very very close to us and our cabin which was incredible. We loved hanging out in the old faithful inn which is historic and beautiful. They have a great breakfast buffet there with tea, coffee, and juice for $20 a person. We recommend eating at the obsidian dining room for dinner which has great food and service. I think the food here is better than in canyon village or mammoth hot springs

The Old Faithful Inn is more well known; however, in my opinion, the lodge is better value for money. Some of the cabins have a direct view of Old Faithful but the rest of them are only a few steps away from the viewing areas. ||||The cabin itself was compact and cozy. Perfect for our stay while exploring the upper geyser basin. We got to watch multiple eruptions of Old Faithful while we were there.

Google
Great price for the location. We overlooked a beautiful spring and field that had a bison in it. Walking distance to old faithful. We knew when booking that there was a shared bathroom and no fridge so we picked up a styrofoam cooler at the grocery store beforehand and filled with sandwiches and snacks for the week (we passed it onto another lodger upon leaving). There is an ice machine we used to replenish the ice. There is also a microwave in the lodge if you need something heated up. Room was clean and functional. Highly recommend for the price.

Yelp
Cabin 113 smelled like public toilet and when reported to the property, the resolution from Paulette (with Doug assisting) at the front desk was to spray some deodorant on top of the smell to try to mask it, instead of switching cabins, which only made it worse. The 'cleaning crew' even decided to leave dirty rags behind on our luggage (see photo) Apparently the only motivating factor were that she's afraid she's not able to rent out that cabin to someone else! After going back and forth for over 1/2 hour, we were finally moved to another cabin: 130: smelled better but you have crooked bed frame, with protruding metal parts at the ready to cut you down at the shin (4 photos attached) After speaking to property manager Joan King and her colleague from old faithful inn, they've chosen to tolerate the lies from the employees, and claimed that we were a 'threat' and have NP Police escort us off the property. We didn't even get to pack up everything in the cabin, so guess those personal items will be lost

Yelp
Amazing location!! As soon as we open the door to our cabin there is Old Faithful! Cabins were clean and beds were actually comfortable. They provide a small fan if you need it. Loved that we had a sink in our cabin since we opted for a cabin without a bedroom. Great price. Im so glad we were able to snag a night of availability here!

Yelp
I have stayed in these cabins for many years. They are rustic yet comfortable. The ones without toilet and shower are less $$ per night if you can live without those amenities. Inside the cabin is a wall heater, sink with hot and cold water and table or desk. There is a wall mounted coat rack, bedside table, and either one or two beds depending on what was requested. A twin is fine for one person and the double could be a challenge for two large adults. Also a tall friend said the double was too short. A cabin with shower and toilet are a godsend if you need to get up several times a night. The shower had great water pressure to rinse off and the toilet was a dependable flush every time. Cabin with bathroom is $241 per night which is spendy for what you get, but the privilege of staying on-site among the most amazing geysers in the world is priceless. Cleanliness is the one improvement I'd recommend. Our cabin had a network of ceiling corner webs that captured hapless flying bugs and the bathroom was grimy under the shower soap/shampoo dispenser. The window sill needed a good hot water and disinfectant scrub to break down the soapy scum build up. I understand how short handed staff are these days, so hope that these issues can be dealt with at an end or beginning of season deep clean. These cabins are not for you if you want a fridge, microwave, or t.v. There is Wi-Fi, but you are competing with a lot of other guests for its use. As a general observation, there are no dedicated parking spots for cabins and cabins with steps do not have railings. Get out and enjoy the park, there's no other place like it on earth.

Yelp
Literally the worst possible place I could've picked. THE WORST - I am kicking myself that I didn't listen to any reviews. Look folks, I don't complain about much. The room is UNBEARABLE. It's 50 degrees out and 80+ in the room. HOW?! Because air isn't moving. There's no way to get airflow - and the "fan" hidden in the closet doesn't do anything. If you do wish to use it, you'll lose the refrigerator as both won't function together. LUNACY. Wifi? No - only in the lobby ten feet from the router. How is it 2023 and you can provide ac and wifi to your rooms? I didn't pay 450 dollars a night to have a stay that was EASILY bested by just sleeping in my car. HORRIBLE.

Yelp
When visiting a national park there's no substitute for actually staying inside of a national park. I lucked out with what I think was some of the best of Yellowstone's lodging. Though reservations for lodging in the park fill up quickly, what I learned only later is that many cancellations occur as well. That explains how I was able to get 2 nights at Old Faithful Lodge Cabins only 2 months in advance of staying there. If you're looking for in-the-park-lodging and finding it fully booked, check back often. I don't ask a whole lot of a place billed as a cabin but these particular cabins were absolutely perfect for my needs. Rustic and intimate, but immaculately clean, the cabin delivered everything I'd want while staying in a national park. A high-end hotel (also available inside Yellowstone) isn't what I'm after here. I want to hike all day, see the sights, eat, then sleep and OFLC made it easy to do just that. I needed nothing fancy and this isn't. A short walk (1-minute) from Old Faithful and the trails leading to all geothermal activity in the Upper Basin is basically at your feet. An equally short walk puts you inside the Old Faithful Lodge for morning coffee. Or walk a bit further, to the Inn for more options. (Food in the park is universally bad so don't bother going too far seeking it). The cabins are quiet with no AC, but windows open and a small fan is provided. I slept like a baby for $189.11 per night, tax included and, though my cabin officially slept 3 I cannot imagine it being comfortable for more than 2 people, even if all you'll do there is sleep. Note: Wifi didn't work the entire time we were there but this was a problem not specific to the OFLC. It's something Yellowstone is, I'm told, working to improve.

Yelp
We stayed for 2 nights at a cabin at Old Faithful Lodge. It was expensive for a small cabin, we got it because of the location, a couple mins walk from the Old Faithful Geyser. We knew when we booked it we were getting a small cabin with no TV, AC, wifi, fridge or microwave. The cabin was so small it surprised us. There was hardly any space to move around, only one chair in the room to sit on. We made sure we got a cabin that had a shower as we didn't want to use the common showers. The entire bathroom was the size of a utility closet, the sink was in the room. We missed AC in this cabin, even though it was small it wouldn't cool down all night, and the small fan provided wasn't enough. Another issue was the number of outlets in the room, with the fan plugged into one, there were only 2 outlets at the sink to charge any device. Though it said no wifi while booking, they did give us wifi information at checkin (with the caveat that it wasn't the strong enough), which worked sporadically. They have a cafeteria and bakery for food, both are to go only. Missing was a water bottle filling station, the closest was in the Snow Lodge. Even with all the cons, the location of the cabins are unbeatable, unless you are staying at the Old Faithful Inn.

Yelp
It's been a lifelong goal of mine to visit every national park in the country. So, this year I decided to come to Yellowstone National Park and of course I paired it with neighbor Grand Teton National Park as well. For my visit to these incredible parks, as usual I planned EARLY in advance. I'm a very simple person and don't need much. I knew that in order to experience and explore Yellowstone (and the fact it's so big), I'd need to stay inside the park. I also recognized that it'd probably be expensive for accommodations in the park. Like I mentioned, I researched the trip and BOOKED EARLY! I explored Yellowstone in early May....perfect since it wasn't near peak season with the tremendous crowds (it may be the most popular park in the country, especially for wildlife viewing), and I booked my reservation at Old Faithful Lodge Cabins on February 20th of this year....almost 3 months in advance. Also, because of the winter conditions....a lot of the hotels and lodges at Yellowstone don't even open till around May. So as soon as there's options availability to book a reservation inside Yellowstone, do it! Don't wait till spring time to book as I PROMISE accommodations will be SOLD OUT or prices per evening will be in $300-$400-$500 dollars per night range! In my researching, I found these OLD Faithful Lodge Cabins to be the cheapest of all the places to stay in Yellowstone. I'd say there's up to 10 - 14 hotels/lodges/motels/cabins situated inside Yellowstone NP. I spent 2 nights here at the Old Faithful Cabins and 3 days overall inside Yellowstone...just enough time to see it all yet I had to rush myself around with all the incredible geysers and sights to see. Booking on February 20th...my 2 nights with tax cost $216....$108 per night. I'll take that! And when booking, you have to pay half or $108 up front as a "deposit". The 2nd half or $108 you pay when you arrive. This was as good of a deal as I could find as these Lodge Cabins are right next to iconic Old Faithful Geyser and plenty of surrounding springs to experience as well as the incredible, timeless Old faithful Inn....which I urge everyone to explore....one of the most amazing hotels I have seen! For being in the heart of it all. I'd highly recommend these cabins. But remember, I'm a simplistic person. I will warn....the cabin that I had was tiny (literally a full size bed encompassing the entire cabin) yet it was quaint and perfect for me....and it doesn't have a bathroom inside of it. You do have to walk outside and a few feet away and use shared toilets and showers. I must say the best part about the cabin was the rustic look it had to it and the quality of shape it was in. It looked brand new inside, I had a very comfortable bed WITH a sink for my toiletries, shaving and brushing my teeth. Also, for early May it got cold in the evenings and the cabin does have an electronic heater to keep you warm. In all, my favorite part about staying here was the location of the cabin. You're virtually staying in the middle of the forest with incredible nature surrounding you. I genuinely felt transported as far away from reality as possibly. During my 2 nights, I sat outside of my cabin, gazed up at the stars and recalled how grateful I felt for being in Yellowstone and having the opportunity to explore one of the most recognized national parks out there! For breakfasts while you're visiting....there are a few choices of places to eat at. There's a quick little "grab-n-go" at the Old faithful Lodge as well as a cafeteria. Right next door to my cabin, I grabbed a 7am early (no wait) breakfast at the Snow Lodge. Old Faithful Inn does offer breakfast though it's pretty upscale and prices are not cheap. If you need a gift shop, souvenirs, snacks or supplies, there's 2 places for shopping nearby your cabin. They are Yellowstone General Stores and Old Faithful Snow Lodge Gift Shop and Geyser Grill. Finally, when checking into your cabin, you go inside the Old Faithful Lodge to the hotel counter. They will provide directions to your cabin which you will have to get in your car and drive to. My cabin and the surrounding cabins are kept in great shape like I mentioned and I even received maid service to make my bed and replenish the towels and soaps. In the area...internet service on your phone is real average. For a majority of the time I had limited service but from time to time I did receive a quick connection. Old Faithful Lodge Cabins was as good of an experience as I could have hoped for. It just added onto my entire experience and appreciation of Yellowstone. I'm thrilled I chose these cabins and certainly recommend to everyone out there to book early as it's ideal for the budget friendly traveler!

Natalie B.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The cabin was clean and comfortable. I stayed here when it was freezing cold in June and the heater helped to make for nice, cozy evenings. Much approved! I'd totally stay here again.

Andrew J.

Yelp
First of all you're spending the night in a national park! I repeat this is not the Marriott! If that's what you want to spend $500 a night at the old faithful inn! The Wi-Fi is adequate but kind of sketchy. I had adequate cell phone service but I wouldn't depend my life on. My woman had very very spotty cell service. The beds only come in full size which is again adequate and the room is very very small but I'm not complaining about that because it was adequate for us. Yes it's over priced you're paying for convenience. We literally got the opportunity to drive around the park at sunset and literally watched hundreds of Buffalo cross the road after sundown and we were able to drive back to our cabin in the dark amazing experience! If you're bringing an air mattress I'm warning you it's gonna be very very tight and I would seek other options! The bathroom is only big enough for one person and the sink is out in the main room. The cutest little teddy bear soaps sold in the gift shop if you want extras, they do provide a fan since there's no AC but I'm warning you we brought another fan because we know better and that was a godsend. The only other thing I have to say is there are no campfires or fire pits, and I hope everybody knows I'm joking when I say if you want some real action make sure you smear bacon grease on your door before nightfall

Yelp
LOVE THIS PLACE! I couldn't post a review while visiting as cell reception was poor/no WiFi. However, this place oozes with charm! The rooms are rustic, but clean; the beds were surprisingly comfortable. This is a gorgeous old lodge and we didn't want to leave. We had a blast people watching, chatting with strangers. There was a musician or two playing piano, violin, or cello every night; It was a great experience. You need to book a year in advance, we did not get the room with a bathroom but lucked out and got a room right next to a restroom. The bathroom was impeccably clean and well maintained, but small - could be problematic in peak tourist season. Already planning another trip in two years and I cannot wait to book book a reservation at home away from home.

David S.

Yelp
First off let me say that Yellowstone is awesome and being able to stay inside the park is a blessing. When we booked the only thing available were the Old Faithful Cabins. We saw pictures and talked to friends, but still did not realize just how small these cabins were. We are a family of 3 and yes we packed for a 10 day trip. We knew we would need an air mattress for our son, but WOW you add luggage and an air mattress for a 3rd person what was already small became smaller. Yes we did not spend much time in the cabin and spent more time enjoying the park, but when we were in the cabin it was very tight. Now, this is not meant to be a negative review, because like I said Yellowstone is Yellowstone and it's beautiful and we loved our time there. You need to know what these cabins are like...especially if you are a larger family and plan on bringing enough luggage for your stay.

Jennifer E.

Yelp
We loved our experience here. I was shocked how many months in advance Yellowstone lodging books. However, about five months in advance I was able to get two cabins for two nights. It was amazing. We loved it. They are basic but perfect for national park. No Wifi, no TVs, no coffee maker in the rooms. However, extreme close to the lodge for coffee. Close to everything in the Old Faithful area. We had one cabin with a double bed and then another cabin with a double bed and a single bed. The beds were comfortable. We slept very well. The cabin are quite even though you share walls. Plenty of hot water and pressure was good. We found the cabin were clean. The fan was helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We feel grateful that we got to stay in these great little cabins. Being the park makes all the difference in the world. I do wish their booking website let you book multiple rooms at once but you have to do different bookings per cabin. Also note that check in can be late as they are working hard to clean them. We were able to check in to one room at 4pm the other wasn't ready until 7pm. This was not a big issue for us. Finally, I loved the bear soap. It was a nice touch making it feel more like a hotel.

Ning R.

Yelp
great location with this price. Saved us lots of time driving in and out Yellowstone park. We had breakfast in the lodge and saw the old faithful hot spring through the lobby window.

M H.

Yelp
Great, historical hotel. Very clean and large rooms. We got lucky and stopped in to see about vacancy... lucky us!

Ed B.

Yelp
Well I had high hopes for this location to celebrateour anniversary, but sadly it didn't hold up to our expectations. I didn't realize that there are no phones in the cabin, no wifi and terrible cell phone service. So if you need anything you have to leave your cabin and walk all the way over to the front desk, tell them what you want and then go back to your cabin and wait for about an hour for anyone to come by. I know this is an old hotel/lodge, but in these modern times customers should feel safe. If there was any type of emergency it would take forever for help. You can't call anyone, so you want a customer to leave someone in need and go go the frony desk for help, that is ridiculous. Get more funding or something to upgrade your facilities. Also, don't close the general store at 6pm! Come on! The only place to get wifi or signal is at the snow lodge which you have to sit outside to use. The rooms are very small, water pressure is terrible and the sink is outside the bathroom. There is basically no room to put anything in the cabin. And they only have full size beds nothing larger. If I was camping in a tent this is what I would expect, but not in a compound of Old Faithful. Very disappointing in the services provided. Very hard to recommend this location.

Richard G.

Yelp
we stayed in a Budget Cabin with one double bed and one twin bed. The cabin was small but well apportioned. The budget cabin had two beds, a sink, two plugs, and smallish desk. I think these cabins are part of the original cabins placed in the park 100 years ago. However our cabin was in good repair and appeared to have been renovated recently. The budget cabin does NOT have an attached toilet or shower, television, telephone, air conditioning (the windows do open), or internet (wired or wifi). Cell service is good in the Old Faithful area and the other developed sections of the part, and nonexistent elsewhere. This place gets five stars for two reasons: 1. Value for money. The budget cabin is $67 a night. The Frontier cabin (with an attached toilet) is $110 and a room in the Old Faithful Inn is $125. For $43 a night, I'll walk down the street to go to the bathroom & shower. There is a minimum amount of outdoor lighting, so a flashlight is not needed to find the bathroom in the middle of the night. The only cheaper way to stay in the park is to get a campsite and sleep on the ground. 2. Location, Location, Location. These cabins are a short walk from Old Faithful and the surrounding geysers. It is also near the lodge.

Jenn C.

Yelp
I'm not sure what I expected when I was told "Frontier Cabin" - perhaps something a bit more late 19th c with red and white checked curtains. What I got was half of a single-wide trailer, a super squishy bouncy bed, simulated wood paneling, vanity with sink, and a bathroom with shower only - but super hot water! The furnishings weren't great but it was super clean and the heater made it nice and toasty. I didn't have any issues with noises from the other unit or from outdoors and I slept really well. I would definitely consider staying here again over the hotel because it is just nice to not be in a big building.

Hwal L.

Yelp
This was a nice cabin with two big beds, although we only needed one, and it was very nicely appointed and very clean. On the desk were folders full of useful information including maps and suggestions, and we even got a couple of souvenir postcards with a picture of grey wolf on them. The obvious downside was the lack of bathroom in the cabin although it does come with own sink, but other than that, can't really fault with anything. Helpful staff at the front desk, and handy location to the iconic Old Faithful geyser and so much more. The dining hall and the cafeteria were very nicely presented as well, and sitting in a rocking chair waiting for the geyser to explode while munching on a breakfast bagel was pretty much a lot of fun. Caution though: DO NOT LOCK THE DOOR when you leave, because you would then be locked out, which is exactly what happened to us. Thank god they were prompt in coming out to help us, but it could have been so much worse with the rain and the dark! The cabin door locks automatically, they said.

Rachel A.

Yelp
We stayed in one of the cabins that had a parking space out front, a double bed and a twin bed, and a very large bathroom with shower, sink, vanity, and toilet. You could park a small car in there. Be careful when reserving if you would like a cabin with private bathroom, I recommend calling to book. Upon check-in, the woman behind the counter was very gruff, and referred to my wife as "him," and when corrected didn't apologize. The food in the Old Faithful Lodge is cafeteria food, that you might find at any poorly staffed and underfunded US high school. Since we paid Walt Disney World rates, and not poorly staffed and underfunded US high school rates, I take issue with the overall poor quality of the food (at the Lodge, the Inn, and the Snow Lodge, all incredibly overpriced for very sub-par quality). We loved that wifi was virtually non-existent and there were no televisions to tempt us, when we weren't busy outside admiring the natural beauty of Yellowstone. Our cabin was a very short walk to Old Faithful, it was amazing to drink our coffee in the morning while watching the geyser erupt. With tons of trails at your fingertips, who could get too bent out of shape about some crummy food and bad customer service? Oh, and the gift shop. There is one person that works there, I forget his name. You'll know him when you see him. He is AWESOME. If Xanterra gives awards to employees, this guy certainly deserves one. I would hire him anyday!

Leslie C.

Yelp
Check in was a breeze. Cabins are beautiful. Bed was cozy. Very clean. We stayed in the ones with no bathroom but they had a sink with a mirror which was helpful. They also offer like $5 off per night if you don't need room service. We stayed 3 nights and took advantage of this. The great thing about this place is you can wake up early and head out for your day then at the end of the day after the rush of people leave old faithful you can literally walk there from your room and watch the geyser. Staying in the most populated area of the park is a peek when you use this strategy. We wandered around right before dark and it was perfect. I highly recommend these cabins.

Justis C.

Yelp
I got locked out of our cabin because they gave us the wrong key there was a crap ton of cob webbs in the cabin and there was several other vacant cabins but i still had a very loud disrespectful neighbor will never stay here again

Niki L.

Yelp
Don't listed to all the negative reviews. The website where you book the cabin is very specific on what you do and do not get, so if you don't read it and then complain then it's your own fault. First and foremost, you are in the middle of Yellowstone. YARDS from Old Faithful. You can even see it from the window if you get lucky. You pay for location not the amenities. These are rudimentary 100-year-old cabins. More glamping than a hotel. If you ask me, they are super cute with a frontier charm. Small (felt cramped with 3 people) but can't complain. We had 1 single and 1 double bed with a tiny bathroom (has a shower). There's a sink, a small desk, a desk fan and a wall heater. No A/C but with temps in mid-50's in the summer there's not much need. Just open the windows. We didn't find the cabins to be excessively hot during the day (mid-80's outside). Besides, if you're planning on staying indoors, you came to the wrong place. The cabin was clean, beds comfortable enough. This is an unbeatable location. Is it expensive for what you got? Maybe, but it is still the most affordable lodging inside the park besides camping. I thought it was awesome and would definitely stay again.

Jane W.

Yelp
Waiting until the last minute is sometimes worth it. We laughed when we saw our little cabin amongst so many others.and were relieved to have a place to stay. We sat on the steps, had a beer and met lots of travellers, kids with their families and saw 3 geyser blows. The Lodge was great for dinner, so we tried breakfast at the INN,. It was ok but after suh a great dinner it was a bit of a let down. Be prepared to rough it, tough it out and have fun. We did have a bathroom with shower and it was just a fun way to experience Old Faithful at little cost. A village within itself. Great shopping too.

Wayne S.

Yelp
We stayed in one of the 2 bed 1 bath places for 2 of 3 nights in the park. From our front porch we had a direct view of Old Faithful. It isn't the case with all the rooms, but we got lucky. they were clean, and pleasant for us in our little stay. They were priced fairly and we felt like we got a lot of out if for our money. I would highly recommend these, especially if you're on a bit of a budget. The visitor's center, and store are near by so everything you really need is with in a quick walk

Yelp
Some cabins here have restrooms, some do not so be careful while reserving. Ours came with a parking spot which was an added bonus. There were plugs and electricity though no televisions which was a nice change of pace. Our room had a double bed which was a bit snug and a twin which we didn't need. The bathroom was incredibly small but we were grateful for it since it was so cold outside (and some cabins do not have indoor bathrooms.) The food at the resort's lodge left a lot to be desired but it was SO CLOSE to old Faithful that we didn't mind. There is a patio with rocking chairs near the cafeteria too. Staff was friendly. We walked down to the Old Faithful Inn for a drink the night we stayed and the next day for breakfast- what a treat. Perfect for families with one or two kids (hence the double bed and the twin.) Reasonably priced as well.

Yelp
My family has been staying in these cabins for years and they have just gotten better during that time. You can not beat the location. Our room this time had some sort of leak, a constantly damp spot on the floor, and a bad mildew smell but this is the first time we've ever had a problem and we notified them so hopefully it will be fixed. I'm not taking off a star for that however, the star was lost because the beds are just not comfortable for me. Our beds were hard as a rock and I just can't sleep on that. The bathrooms, in the cabins that have them, are nice and overall for the money you can't beat this location. The stream running behind the cabins is a great place for kids to play and we've seen bears and bison out there, it's a secret little part of the park all to yourself.

Yelp
My family stayed here this last week and were only able to get a cabin, I'm assuming due to cancellations due to COVID-19. It was great to stay inside the park and be able to leave early and have parking before the crowds showed up when the park opens at 8am. Because we were their during COVID-19, everything had capacity limits, but we only waited maybe 5 minutes to enter the cafeteria and gift shops. The cabin was decent size and had its own bathroom with toilet and shower, which we were happy about not having to use public ones. The bed was horrible tho, i dreaded going to bed every night due to me know I was going to wake up with a sore back. Besides the bed, it was a steal to get a cabin in the park for 2 nights for $300. Due to its convenience of being inside the park, i would stay here again.

Yelp
Smaller room but to everything that the geyser basin has to offer. We spent two Nights here (4 of us, 2 adult, two kids) and we could see Old Faithful from our cabin window. We loved waking up and looking and seeing the geyser streaming in the morning or late in the eveniNg.

Yelp
Most preferred of the 3 properties we stayed at. The massive log cabin feel was unique and memorable for all. We watched Old Faithful as we waited to be seated for dinner. The walls and ceiling are thin. The place is busy with activity and we would stay again.

Yelp
We stayed in a cabin with no bath, but did have a sink, desk, two beds, it was nice and bed was comfortable. We weren't too far from the community bath/shower house and it was kept clean. Right out our door was Old Faithful, you can't get any better than that. Staying on site made it convenient to take several walks and short drives to other areas. Would definitely stay there again.

Yelp
I give it 1 star because management has no training and no concept of who is the customer ? Parts of the inn has shared bathrooms but what they don't say is they close for cleaning 7-845 every morning Then the brag about the dinning we had to drive off yellow stone one day to get something to eat that had taste to it otherwise you get frozen products The whole place was overpriced for what you get Staff is not trained to handle any problems that come up And the last thing I heard is they were given a non compete 20 year contract That is unforgivable

Yelp
GRUNGY! A double bed, sink, and desk in a very small box. We did have a bathroom containing a toilet and shower. I've seen bathroom stalls larger than that whole bathroom. All the soaps, shampoos, etc was in bottles attached to the wall and sink. I refused to use them, unsure what they really had in them, and the bottles look dirty. Good thing I brought my own items. No coffee pot, hair dryer or A/C. The bed and shower did seen to look clean. The floors on the other hand was nasty. I would not even walk on them without shoes. The cafeteria was terrible. The food was inedible and expensive. I would not have even feed it to a stray dog. The coffee was terrible as well. Now let's put this into perspective. The price we gave for this box was the same price we payed for a room at hotel only a couple hours away and had a full kitchen, living area, a king size bed and a large bathroom. This room at most should only be around $30 a night.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed a night in one of the cabins along the river without a bathroom. I just wish every cabin had its own bathroom because I didn't like the idea of having to walk 50yards to a bathroom in the middle of the night. Otherwise it was a simple cabin and perfectly comfortable to sleep in. The location to the boardwalk around the geysers and a few nearby trails was perfect and made it easy to walk around at night and enjoy the bright starry sky without going too far. I wouldn't mind staying here again, especially for the price.

Yelp
We stayed in a frontier cabin-1 double bed, with bath. It was cozy--but seemed a little nicer than the Canyon cabin we'd had. (Was pricier too) No noise issues either. There was some SUV idiot that parked across 3 spaces the two days we were there, but that was the worst of it, so dealable. Can't tell you how wonderful it was to see Old Faithful in the early morning with only a handful of people around us. FYI the eruptions aren't timed out until 8 or 9 am so you have to guesstimate if you want to catch it earlier. Front desk service was nice, and they even had bear shaped soap in the room. Yeah, I'm a sucker, but still, it was cute. Just wish we'd had more time there, will definitely go back.

Yelp
Outside, the cabins look a bit edgy but winter is harsh and ages everything. Inside is freshly updated, clean and comfortable. Unbeatable for the price and location. Walking distance to Old Faithful. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Yelp
Stayed in the budget cabin. Cabin itself was clean and comfortable. Although its somewhat small, it's more than enough for a place to sleep while exploring Yellowstone. Only complaint is the bathrooms and shower areas were dirty and had trash on the ground. Hopefully people will clean up after themselves on your visit!!

Yelp
We stayed in budget cabins. These are nice little cabins, small, but nicely apportioned, very clean. Easy access to shared bath several cabins away. Ice machine available free of charge. Actually I want to give it 4.5 star due to the fact that it doesn't have a toilet. I don't mind going out for toilet and shower at all in good weather. It's just a short walk. However, we were unlucky that it kept raining at night. Going out in the rain became a pain... This is the first time I realize that staying in a room with private bath is so valuable... Stay here if you want to tour the geyser basins. If you want to stay here and visit northern/northeastern, or even the lake region, driving will be a pain.

Yelp
Not the best cabin for the price. Cheaper at Evergreen Motel right outside the park and has a TV, microwave and refrigerator in the room.
