Your usual grill providing hamburgers and hot dogs. They also have some salads and Chicken Tenders here. The food is okay. The hamburgers are definitely better than Wylie's Canteen at Lake Lodge by Yellowstone Lake. It's summer and it's really busy. They really need to expand this restaurant to provide more seating. There is seating outside, but they don't clean the tables. And then you realize there are those people who take up a whole table outside because they want to read a book, yet families are looking for a place to sit. Please read your books elsewhere. It's super crowded. Find another place to read your book. Having said this, I do have to point out that after you order your food, it doesn't take long to receive your order.

So called food was definitely not edible. They don't add any sauces at all. The lettuce used may not have been washed properly because I found a crawling bug in our package. The patty was probably taken out of the freezer and microwaved. It was the driest ever and so hard it wouldn't break or bend. Price is definitely not worth what they provide as a dish. The person taking our order appeared to be completely bored and didn't want to be there. Some of the menu items listed weren't even available. The cashier couldn't have cared less whether we ordered or not.

Google
They were really busy when I got in so it took 30 minutes to order/get food. The food itself was really good, and I would recommend the signature beef burger and the fries, both being delicious despite the remote location and how busy they were.

Google
Worst experience ever. Philly cheese steak sandwich came with cheese on top, dry and terrible. Chicken sandwich followed suit and was under cooked in the middle, and the bag of chips appears to have been chewed open by mice. Place should be condemned.

The price is fine until you see the size of the portions. Looks like a cafeteria, but charges like a Michelin restaurant. Super close to the geyser tho, so that's nice, but I would just advise you to bring your own food or get an extra job to pay for the 3 chicken nuggets you're getting for 10 bucks ;)

Google
Beautiful lodge with plenty of space for large groups to dine and wait for Old Faithful. Fairly reasonable food and drink prices with a wide variety of options for all. The Palomas are delicious!

Google
Relatively affordable and fast are the advantages of this food 'outlet'. The fries were good. Staff were friendly and efficient. My bison bratwurst wasn't hot, the decor is institutional, the green chick pea option was a box of cold patties (we took them home to our campsite and fried them, making them delicious). Burgers lacked any personality. If you're caught out and really really need a hot meal, do it. Otherwise, gnaw on your shoe, get a sandwich in your room or walk another loop of the boardwalk and wait for a later time slot in the dining room.

It’s okay if you’re in Yellowstone. The price is acceptable, so does the flavor.

Yelp
This place was ok, it had its pros and cons. Definitely less expensive than the Dining Rooms, but pretty darn expensive for fast food. The good news is there was a bit of variety on the menu and they had vegetarian food for us. Yay! But it wasn't great quality and was messy. My kiddo got the kids meal, which is supposed to be served in a cardboard souvenir bus but wasn't. When I asked, they were like, oh yeah, we ran out. Good thing my kiddo wasn't too disappointed. They should probably have mentioned that when I ordered. Customer service wasn't good in general, but it was an easy meal and dining experience.

Yelp
Utter Garbage. Likg the very worst food I have ever been served. I ordered a hamburger and fries. Fries tasted like fish sticks oil. The 'hamburger' was disgusting. A nasty patty on a bun with a slice of tomato that had to be 2 days since it was sliced. The lettuce was about one teaspoon of wilted who-knows-what plant nastiness. It all went directly into the garbage can. Without question the very worst thing I have ever been served

Yelp
Burgers are not bad and it might just about be the best options for food in the Old Faithful area. The Old Faithful Inn restaurant is awful for food but the historic lodge is amazing as it's from 1903. Just don't have high expectations for the food. The breakfast buffet is just ok but the dinner (like the Trout) was almost inedible. It was tough and in something like bad tomato soup. So long story short...stick with the Grill at the Snow Lodge and I'd also say go to the cafeteria at the Old Faithful Lodge for lunch.

Yelp
Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Beef Chili was surprisingly good! Plenty of beef with a slightly thicker stew. The shredded cheddar on top adds a buttery/creaminess to the acidity of the chili Bison Bratwurst was good as well! Nicely seasoned with a good bite. Ambience: 5/5 - nicely decorated with plenty of seating area. The ketchup and mustard dispenser were empty but they had packets available Service: 5/5 - friendly and quick (quick for National Park) Line was out the door but got to order within 10 minutes Value for price: 5/5 - reasonable for the park. Worth it for the hot and quick food

Yelp
Watched Old Faithful do its thing near lunch hour and subsequently came here for a bite. Looooooong wait to order and even longer wait for food. Our order: two cheeseburgers, fries and tomato bisque. Out of the four items we ordered, tomato bisque was the best in flavor - fresh, piping hot and tangy. The cheeseburgers were made with dry, frozen patties and kraft singles so... the fries were hot but not crispy. Basically everyone eats here either before or after Old Faithful erupts, so be prepared to have difficulty finding a table, getting through crowds to use the restroom and being accompanied by loud conversations in proximity. The grill is understaffed, as their self-serve condiment table lacked onions and relish, and no one came by to check and restock because they were all at capacity working the cash and kitchen. Again, where else are you going to eat in Yellowstone... compared to some other dining options in the park, Geyser Grill is not bad if you can withstand the wait and crowds.

Yelp
I was shocked at how decent this was. I never expect much from in park food service but everything was good. I had a cheese sandwich on a gluten free bun. They went out of their way to make sure I was getting the cleanest environment possible so I didn't have a reaction. The manager made my sandwich with new gloves and in a cleaned area. I always worry about having a reaction when I am traveling. It was so nice to not have to worry. In addition the gf bun itself was the best I have ever had. My husband had a basic fish sandwich but said it was really good.

Yelp
Good fast food or a quick bite. Yellowstone version of a fast food place. Burgers, hotdogs, chili type things. Love the chili cheese fries. Fair selection of beer and mini wind bottles. Very crowded at times but some nice views.

Yelp
My husband and I ate here twice while traveling through Yellowstone. The four stars is for the very fresh spinach salads with honey mustard dressing. Each day I ordered a black bean burger which was usually very dry. I'd put at least one of the small spinach salads into the vegan burger to make it much more edible. Since produce was hard to get while I was in West Yellowstone, I really appreciated the very fresh spinach salads there, four dollars each. The second time I ordered three just to get enough salad into my day. Also my husband and I liked the fries a lot. We got two fries on the second visit. The staff is friendly and enthusiastic. The one drawback for us, other than the dry meat and bean patties was that the place filled up quickly with tourists off buses, from other countries. It got stressful at times with people yelling, ordering people to hurry up and eat, get out of there, and with us having to constantly worry about getting up to let people out. We saw a lot of people making buckets of noodles from kits, not eating the food from the restaurant, against the rules. The first time we visited this place, we ended up grabbing up our food and taking it outside because it got so stressful with all the tour people, the yelling, the rush to inhale food and run out the door. We were very glad to have the option of eating here, as we visited Yellowstone off season when so much was closed. Getting a fresh spinach salad or two or three, stuffing some into the vegan black burger, was a welcome alternative. And yes, the fries could be good. We visited in late April, when most places were still closed. We were relieved to be able to get food here and I was amazed at how fresh the spinach salad was, small servings but very fresh.

Yelp
One of the worst hamburgers I've ever had. The previously frozen patty turned into a gray grisly hockey puck between two buns with mealy tomatoes. Add to the fact that it was not the cleanliest place either. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
Hey folks! I'm here to give a shout out to the Snow Lodge Geyser Grill. First off, it's important to note: We were hungry. A party of six, at least half gettin' testy, one close to h-angry. But we were in good spirits. I'm not sure what all y'all were expecting from this type of establishment but.....the reason I am giving the joint the three star rating I have is the vision and foresight "someone" in the place must have had to spruce up the sub-standard burger patties. I speak specifically of the toasted buns, crisp Romaine lettuce and fresh tomato slices. I joked to my party of my desire to join the Geyser Grill team to inspire them to take it to the next level. Perhaps real burger patties? Actual bacon? Good old American cheese? (Shocking I know, but the velveeta looking cheese is supposed to be cheddar) We declared the food above average "ski resort style" fare. Truly not the worst. And considering the location, not terribly expensive.

Yelp
Ordered the double bacon cheeseburger, very low quality frozen patties, dry bun, tiny piece of bacon. The floor was being washed with dirty grey water and smelled sour, and the fountain drinks tasted moldy. Very disappointing compared to the lake lodge deli which was amazing

Yelp
We waited a half hour at this "fast food" restaurant at this eatery near Old Faithful for gray reheated hamburgers. Yuck! While the long wait could be attributed to the fact that we were there at 1pm right after Old Faithful spurted, that's no excuse for the poor food quality. Also, there's very little seating area and valuable potential seating space was taken up by a plywood Western style display. Seriously?

Shawn C.

Yelp
This place was horrible... Dw likes the bison bratwurst which she said was pretty good. I had a dbl burger in which the patties were very low quality and under cooked. The bottom of my bun was so soggy it was inedible... The fries were good but I've had better. One child had the cold ham and cheese. The bun varied from so hard that touching it turned it to crumbs or it was really soggy. The meat and chease was not very good either. The lettuce and tomato that came with it was given to us in cellophane and they lookd old. So old they were not eaten. One of the cheese burgers was ok except for the patty quality and its cooking. Another was a dbl cheese burger with bacon and it had the same issues as the other double burger. Overall it was a very expensive waste of time for really subpar food...

Yelp
I gave this one star because negative stars aren't allowed. This was without a doubt the WORST hamburger I've ever had. It was grey, tasteless and cold. The fries were okay. Go to the General Store instead, it must be better - it serves soda fountain food.

Yelp
If I could give no stars I certainly would this place is definitely one to avoid. I ordered a chicken sandwich that was boiled with some sort of lemony nastiness on a soggy bun and a squishy mealy tomato...The chicken tasted ancient and slimy....yuck!! It was also thin and moved like cardboard. How I did not walk away with food poisoning is a miracle, but my brother did not get away so lucky and he had a not so great braut that left him sick for the remainder of our trip. Please for the love of god find another place to eat or pack a lunch it's cheaper anyway

Yelp
I was waiting for Old Faithful to blow and wanted a bag of chips or something to tide me over until I could grab lunch. I was directed to the geyser grill and was pleasantly surprised. There was actual food! Now I'm not suggesting you'll be getting the best lunch, but for Park food, it was just what I needed. The best part of the geyser grill has to be Thomas, his friendly smile and service should be duplicated at every burger place. He was helpful and funny. Thanks Thomas!

Yelp
Old Faithful Snow Lodge grill for quick meal during off season. We got there about 2pm and no lines but could tell that summer could be longer wait because of the dividers for ordering and number calling for food pickup. Ordered 2 double burgers, salad side, chips, and 2 sodas ($22). Freshly fried burger. Okay for quick MacDonald type meals. I think this would have been my choice for value meal compare to Obsidian Cafe, Bear Pit Pub & Old Faithful Inn Restaurant. But really you either eat at the open available eateries or go hungry.

Susan J.

Yelp
The staff were really friendly and nice, but the food was definitely lacking. We got burgers and fries, and didn't finish them because they weren't good at all. The bacon on the burger was delicious so I picked that off and ate it. The burger was pretty tasteless, and still pretty pink.

Yelp
We had about an hour to catch Old Faithful's next eruption and were hungry for breakfast. Found this across the road and it was still serving breakfast. A little pricey for what you get. (Over $10 for eggs Benedict and a small dish of fruit.) But taste and quality were great. Kids menu had a nice variety. Service was very attentive and friendly too. It wasn't busy at all and so the food was out quick which gave us time to see Old Faithful.

Marie C.

Yelp
We stopped at the Geyser Grill for a quick service lunch while touring around the Old Faithful area. The selection was pretty limited, but everyone found something that they liked. I highly recommend the bison brat!

Mary W.

Yelp
Not bad...not fantastic or special. Service was slow, but they were busy. Its a good place to get a quick bite and stay close to Old Faithful if you're waiting for it to erupt.
