This corner shop is located in one of the most congested and crowded lanes of Chandni Chowk. Because of the constant rush, it is extremely difficult to stand comfortably in line, especially during peak hours. The space is so tight that eating there is almost impossible, as people keep pushing past from all sides.
Cleanliness is another major concern. The surrounding area is often littered with used disposable plates and cups, and the garbage bins are frequently overflowing, which takes away from the overall food experience.
Coming to the food, the jalebis do taste good, but the samosas are only average. Considering the price and the hype, the quantity served does not feel justified.
Customer service was also disappointing. When tissue papers were requested, the staff rudely refused, which further added to the negative experience.
Since there is no proper seating or peaceful space to enjoy the food, it is better to take the food away and eat it somewhere else. It appears that many people ignore the crowd, lack of cleanliness, and poor comfort simply to taste food from this very old and famous shop.
Overall, the place may satisfy curiosity and tradition, but it falls short in terms of hygiene, comfort, and value for money.
