Incredible tour because it's not just about the bourbon, but the whole process. They take you to the distilling rooms and you can see and smell the process of distilling. Then you go to the barrel-making room, where you get to char an actual barrel! Then it's on to the tasting room, where we got to taste the new 117 Series, which was 130 proof! Just an incredible time. And the restaurants on Bourbon Row are great for lunch or dinner after the tour. If you're going on only 1 tour in Louisville, make it Old Forester!

The Old Forester tour was very informative! We were able to see barrels being made, charred and tested for any leaks. Also saw the bottling line in action. They have a small rick house onsite in downtown Louisville, which was very interesting.

It was a great experience. I definitely recommend the full tour. The docents were very open, knowledgeable, and engaging. The tour itself was interesting with just the right blend of past and present. The highlight of our tour was the barrel-making process. The tasting itself was great, with a nice selection, and at no point was I rushed. I hope to revisit when in Kentucky again!

My wife and I had a wonderful time learning more about the history of Old Forester while enjoying the Whiskey Row Series! The 1910, 1920 and 1924 are our favorite from that series! We love visiting Old Forester and are glad it’s only a little over 2 hours from us. Looking forward to our next visit and to enjoying more tastings there!

We had a great time on the tour. The guide was great! Lots to see, lots of history and the barrel making and charring of the barrel was very cool to see! The tasting experience was also great! We will come back again with family and friends.

Wonderful tour and tasting. It was great to hear about the history behind Old Forester and the making of bourbon. The tour was first rate (although I don’t have any experiences with other bourbon tours yet) and our guide, Bob, was first—rate.

What a great experience!! The tour guide Wes was so knowledgeable and made the tour great! Not only was it so cool to see how it’s all made, but everyone working had a smile on their face and you could really tell they love their jobs. I recommend 10 times over!

Good experience. The gift shop was great and the tour was, well, a tour. I was excited to see the home of one of my favorite bourbon but I left wishing I had more of an up-close experience on the tour. It's more friendly to families and I suppose a "safer" tour than some of the ones that take you right into the process rooms, but thats what I was looking for. All in all im glad I went!
