Can't rate this place highly enough. There are a lot of reviews saying Old Lahaina House feels like home. They are spot on. Sherry and her family make this place feel like the holiday home you wish you had. Beautiful pool, peaceful surrounds and great communal atmosphere. The place has soul. Beach is less than a minute walk away, where you can snorkel and lounge in shade beneath the trees. Sherry and co will happily lend you beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkels etc. The beach faces west, making for beautiful sunsets over the neighboring islands. Town is a short five minute walk away with plenty of good bars and restaurants. By far, our favorite stay in Hawaii. Would recommend to friends, family, and all.

Feels like home, but better! We accidentally under booked our honeymoon and ended up finding this hidden gem for a night. Sherry, Tiana and Renee were so friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and cozy. They gave us everything we needed and more. We loved being able to pick up one of their beach chairs and walk across the street to the beach. We cleaned off in their outdoor shower and splashed in the pool. Oh and they had the best shampoo and conditioner out of anywhere else we stayed!! We didn’t have a chance to borrow one of their bikes but we would have loved to take them to the nearby restaurants and shops! We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for an amazing stay and memories that will last a lifetime! 🌺

We had such a fantastic time staying at the Old Lahaina House! Sherry and her staff have been above and beyond with their hospitality - they’re always so quick to respond and had so many fun facts and suggestions about the neighbourhood. The units we stayed in were very clean and cozy - the neighbourhood is fairly quiet and we found ourselves waking up to the sounds of birds in the morning! This was also located so conveniently close to town that we spent many nights walking into town for food and drinks, then sauntering back via the beach - we had some of the best sunsets here and so many stars on clear nights! So if you’re looking for a well-priced, locally hosted spot - this is honestly perfect!

Sherry is a wonderful host! We rented a camper van while in Maui and needed a change of pass, a hot shower and a cold room. The old Lahaina house was the perfect place. We booked a late night stay and was greeted by sherry and her two dogs and before we checked into our room she took us to the beach(60 second walk) to look at the stars. The room was clean and everything you could need in a room. If you are in Maui and don’t need an expensive hotel, this is the place to stay!

I would consider renaming this place Old Lahaina "Home" because that is what the owner, staff, and animals made this place feel like. The first night was simply a taste of what the rest of our week long stay would be, and it only got better from there. Sherry, the owner, built a beautiful, comfortable, accommodating, and loving environment within the Old Lahaina House which ultimately made our departure from Hawaii bittersweet. Every morning and evening, Sherry would come out from her office and talk to us about our experiences around the remarkable island of Maui, offering any piece of advice she could to make sure that we make the best of our trip. In addition to the owner's impeccable hospitality, the rooms themselves are very cozy and let in an abundant amount of light, allowing your mornings to start with a beautiful sunrise, a tropical background, and a lovely tune from the local birds. The rooms also included a coffee machine, coffee and creamer, dishes, a spacious mini fridge, a microwave, towels, and additional linens. We had our own bathroom and closet as well. If anything else is needed, Sherry is always available for you. I recommend starting your mornings early by the poolside with a cup of coffee in hand beside the lovely sunbathing animals that reside at Old Lahaina House. The local community has an authentic Hawaiian vibe with kind, welcoming neighbors as well as a beach right across from the guesthouse. I am so happy to have experienced my first travel trip in Maui with Sherry and her family at the Old Lahaina "Home." Thank you for leaving a remarkable, everlasting impression of Hawaii in our lives.

Google
Sherry and the whole staff give meaning to the word "Aloha". They made us feel so welcome and taken care of from beginning to end. Starting with clear communication around booking all the way to flexibility on check out. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable, with a lanai overlooking the pool. They have anticipated a vacationers every need, with beach chairs, snorkeling gear, laundry service, a mini-fridge, and more. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Maui, which we hope will be soon. Great location.

Google
We booked a one night stay at the Lahaina House at the last minute, because the hostel we were staying at was not what we expected. It was the best sleep of our entire trip. We only met Tiana because we arrived so late but her coffee blend is delicious and this place had everything we needed for a relaxing night. Just a stones throw away from the beach to watch the sunrise/sunset, and a short walk away from some really great local eateries. 10/10 would stay here again.

Staff is friendly and personal, best way to feel at home and not just in a hotel room while enjoying vacation! The pool is fantastic and great to have animals to treat you like family as the staff do!. Rooms are great! The beach is perfect as well as location and the price is perfect to go with everything! It has the "old" feel to it which we enjoyed to feel a part of the community!

Yelp
Sherry and Tianna were very friendly! Took the time to show us around. Very close to the beach and walking distance to downtown Lahaina. The house had beach chairs, snorkeling gear, bikes, beach towels, a pool and pretty much all you needed. Very clean and lovely rooms. We had a coffee maker, small refrigerator, blow dryer and microwave in our room. Loved the location. Away from tourists and in a neighborhood friendly area. Thank you. We look forward to going back.

Yelp
I loved my stay here. Unfortunately, due to the fires, I'm not sure it even exists anymore. I hope it does and everyone is om

Yelp
I Loved Loved Loved this place. Humble and homey, great room, close but far enough from the tourist traffic. Beautiful beach within 1 minute out my door. The house owner and her family live there and work there. When I showed up late and tired, they welcomed me with "welcome home." I was so happy. My room was sweet and comfortable with all the amenities I could ask for. I will stay with them again in my travels for sure. Highly recommend !

Yelp
Spacious, Clean, Quiet, & A COZY BED! So after several stays in Lahaina I found this spot which is my favorite place to stay so far in Lahaina. It's a large read identical home converted into spacious king bed suites with a deep pool you are sharing with only a few people and friendly owner and her kids. The room was super clean and extremely comfortable. So much so I could see me staying for a month here at a time if I had that much to do while visiting.... The house is located in short walking distance to Front Street which if you don't know the area is the crowded old world street full of shops, bars and food where people endlessly stroll along all day until late night. Across the street is Shark's Pit if you are like me and want to go free diving or snorkeling with some sharks... Don't worry, there are no Great White or Tiger Sharks that I saw... Just cute little guys.... For the best deal in breakfast go to 808 Grinds not far away. For the best lunch and dinner as well as pub prices go to Spanky's Riptide which is a block away.... All in all the best value for your dollar on a nice place to stay.

Yelp
We found a gem our last two nights in Maui! I booked this reservation from booking.com. It was $208 per night excluding taxes and fees. It turned out to $520 for two nights. That is a deal on Maui especially in peak season. We stayed in the king suite with a sofa bed. Our view was the pool. It was very spacious, you can see in the photos. It was very clean and welcoming. The bed was comfortable! I slept like a baby. Unlike other Inns or B&B this spot was quiet! That was a plus. It is a family owned business so everyone was very polite. We would definitely come back to stay here again.

Yelp
Staying in this house was the best decision we ever made! It is a lot different than staying in a hotel and added a lot more comfort. Sherry and Randy were amazing!! Went absolutely above and beyond. They have two cats and some dogs that make the experience even better. Sherry was definitely our mom away from home. She was always available for anything we needed. Randy is the sweetest and is always up for conversation and even shared fresh pineapple with us. They have bikes, goggles, beach chairs, and anything else you can think of. We loved riding the bikes to town everyday. Will definitely stay here again!!!

Yelp
Cutest place, sweetest people. Felt at home. Recommend to all. Great oasis in the back with a minute walk to the beach and downtown area.

Yelp
So lucky to have found this gem!! Everything you could want for a beautiful Maui Vacation!! The pool is amazing. We had it pretty much to ourselves. The room was really nice and has all the same accommodations that that you can get in a hotel. It's super quite and peaceful. The staff are the best!! I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I am so glad I stayed here! Sherry was such a gracious host and the place is so charming that you can't help but enjoy yourself. You feel like you're a part of the family while you're staying there. Gives you a totally different experience than staying at a standard hotel. It's full of character and also close walking distance to Front Street so it was convenient. I stayed in the room above the office, I can't remember what it was called but it was very cute.

Yelp
Have to say I really wanted to like this place, but not possible with all the inconveniences that happened. First, I wanted to say that owner is really nice and helpful and manager are really nice and accommodating. However, multiple things were things that I was not happy with, first water was turned off not once but twice while we were at this place, with no notice what's so ever. Second, Roofers where working on the roof for 2-3 days while we are there, if you haven't had roofer work on the roof while your inside, it's not relaxing or quiet. Lastly, there was no way for us to secure our room, the latch on the door was broken multiple times it look like it has broken multiple times. I had to put luggage in front of the door because I did not feel safe; I thought this way because the owner did a combination to open the open while we were indie the room, thankfully we had clothes on at the time. After that point I didn't feel safe, I but our luggage in front the door so we could hear if someone open the door. Hope this feedback helps!

Yelp
Words can't express the intimacy and care that Sherry extends to her guests. This amazing location with direct beach location across the street, a few blocks from downtown Old Lahaina has a beautiful garden and pool. It really is the "Ohana" style - we felt like family immediately and that graciousness extends to everyone.

Yelp
Everything we wanted and more! Beautiful location close to the beach, close to downtown, etc.... The rooms were clean and the hosts were incredibly nice! Shari was more than accommodating and even gave us a miniature tour of lahaina on our first day. And, you can't beat the price! I will be returning. Mike -from Chicago!

Yelp
My family had a great stay here. Great customer service. Felt like a home away from home. Very cozy, quiet, private and accomodating. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker were available for use on top of the amenities outside: kick/body board, floatees, sunscreens, aloe, etc. It was pleasant to be told, "let me know if you need anything". Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Yelp
Love this place! They have lots to offer - snorkeling gear, bikes, boogie boards, ice chests.......we loved it so much we booked more nights! Front street is fun and the ocean is a quick walk!! The rooms are comfortable and inviting and the entire staff is warm and friendly. Can't wait to go back!!! I will definitely book there whenever I'm in Maui!!!

Yelp
Loved it here! Close to the beach and the pool was a great escape from the heat to read in the shade

Yelp
This is a super awesome find, so glad we stayed here on a little westside staycation. The pool is awesome and they have changing lights, and tiki torches. They have some adorable little dogs roaming around that will let you pick them up and snuggle them. They provide snorkels and beach chairs, and were one of the only places that still had the pool open during covid. The staff is super chill, and the lush greenery around the yard was absolutely enchanting. Thanks so much Cheri, John, and Randy for having us!!!

Yelp
Old Lahaina House started years ago as a B&B, single property in a family home. I've been staying here for some 17 years and have seen many changes including the blossoming of the business. Old Lahaina House has several rooms available. It's more of an inn these days as they no longer serve breakfast. It's across the street from the beach and a short walk from 505 Front Street, where there are shops and restaurants and where the commercial part of Lahaina begins. They have chairs and beach mats you can borrow, among other equipment. You can use the grill by the pool. If you're able to walk, you might not even need to take the car into town. There is parking available or you can park on the street. There are both downstairs and upstairs rooms. There is a pool and a two-room suite next to it that is lovely. It just got new furniture and has a king-size bed. It has a shower only, no tub. All rooms have A/C, mini fridges, microwaves, coffee makers, and dishes and utensils. There's free wi-fi that's easy to connect to. Old Lahaina still is a family home, so you will likely meet family members and friends. There are lots of folks like me who have stayed here for years. The owner, Sherry, is very knowledgeable and can tell you all about tours and restaurants and shows and can help you with bookings. They also own several other properties, including a large, oceanfront, beautiful property called the White House. It would be great for wedding parties, reunions, and the like. It sleeps 16, upstairs and downstairs. For those on a budget, they also have dorm-style rooms. All the properties are legal vacation rentals.

Yelp
Everyone has a vacation style. Some folks require plush accommodations in big resorts. Others are content to tent it up and literally camp out wherever they may land, should they bring their gear. For me, a vacation is about experience first and foremost. Experiencing the city/town, the natural beauty, the food, the people, and what's truly local... that's where it's at. There's a time and a place for a spa and a television, but for me, that's not on vacation. For this reason, I'm not a big resort-type person. I prefer clean, comfortable and modest accommodations, generally speaking. Old Lahaina House provided just that; this small 'inn' of sorts is part hostel, Airbnb rental, and bed and breakfast... though to be clear no breakfast is provided. This family-run joint with maybe 5 rooms total (?) is just far enough from town that it feels secluded. Super close to the beach and super chill, however, it's close enough to town to be convenient. There's a small pool in the communal patio area, and a grill and small fridge are available for you to use in the same shared space. The owner (ohmygosh I'm blanking on her name) was thoughtful, kind, and provided us with a number of recommendations and some sound advice re: the area. If you're not into cut and copy resort-type complexes, shopping, and boring food, Old Lahaina's for you. I recommend renting a bike from Boss Frog's to make the trek to and from town a little shorter and lot breezier; snag some provisions from the local Foodland (surprisingly good poke!) and sit back, relax, and take it all in. This humble and cozy yet lovely spot did us more than fine while enjoying our first few nights on Maui, and we'd definitely return!

Yelp
Old Lahaina House is the cutest place to stay! Highly recommend choosing this place to stay while in Maui. First of all, the owners are the sweetest people. They are extremely kind and welcoming. Right when my friends and I arrived we were greeted with smiles and a very welcoming hello. We were really early for our check in but it was no problem. We were told the previous guests still needed to check out and then they needed to do a cleaning, so we were able to leave our bags and walk out to the beach (which was across the street and just down a small walkway) and then walk along Front St. to find a nice spot for some breakfast. (We went to sunrise cafe-a small, cute hole-in-the-wall place with cheap prices!) When we returned we waited, a little longer as the cleaning was being finished up, and just sat by the pool where we were greeted by the "water dog" Sophia. She loved to play fetch and was the sweetest pup. Once our room was ready, we went upstairs to the Riviera Room and were extremely pleased. There's a king size bed, mini fridge, A/C, microwave, ironing board, balcony, TV, coffee maker, and a private bathroom. It was clean and the bed was very comfy. Also, they have beach towels, shower towels, and sarongs for the guests to use. Overall, this is such a cute place to stay with very kind owners. Thank you Old Lahaina House!

Yelp
Yikes. Not sure where the other reviewers stayed, but we were not too thrilled about the accommodations here. Sure, it's about a block from the beach and a 10-15 minutes' walk to touristy Lahaina, and the owners are definitely nice. But when you first walk up it looks like a family of total slobs lives on the first floor--not a great first impression for a little former B&B. The room was clean (in fact, the cleaners were still there when we came to check in, even though they had us confirm our arrival time twice) and there was an iron, cooler, tv, and mini fridge included. But the next door neighbors had a party each night we were there, with music blasting and girls screaming through the night. When I went to the office to complain at 8am, you could feel the bass pounding inside, but the owner acted like she had no idea. Also, we never got a room key during our entire stay (had to leave our stuff unlocked all day), and I found a cockroach in my shoe one morning when I went to put it on. Not pleasant. And definitely not worth the $130/night. I know Maui'a expensive, but do yourself a favor and book something (else) early!

Yelp
Eh, you get what you pay for. I'm a sucker for places with character and this place is somewhat out there. Close access to the beach, not too far a walk to the center of Lahaina, and somewhat eccentric staffers. Honestly, this is sort of the same criteria I used to choose where I currently live, which may explain why I live in a 150 year old house housed by tenants who all believe in ghosts. Rooms were very clean and the air conditioning was excellent. Look, I only look for a few things in a place: air conditioning, the luxury of being left alone, and wifi, and honestly if the wifi reached my room so I didn't have to go down to the pool and actually get some sunlight while in Hawaii this would be a five.

Rick A.

Yelp
This "house" has a lot of character and atmosphere! The owner Sherri provides everything you need in the rooms for a stay that makes you feel at home. The location is right off Front Street, and a very close walk to the Banyan Tree Park and Lahaina Harbor. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this hotel for your accommodation!

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at the Old Lahaina House for a week and it was quite good. We were in the mountain room and truth be told, the view of the mountain is nice. Even though it wasn't ready when we got there, the room was clean, well equipped with fridge, coffee maker, iron, plates and cutlery. Basically all you need for a comfortable stay. On the downside, the mattress and pillows were a disaster. This may not apply to everyone, but for us, who are used to harder sleeping surfaces, it took a while to adjust to them. Also, the wifi signal was very weak in our room. The computer managed to pick it up, but the phones kept losing connection. We talked to the owners about it and they blamed the thick walls which hindered the signal. Anyway, the beach access is across the street (where you can see a nice sunset, when it's not too cloudy), downtown Lahaina is just a nice walk away and there is plenty of parking. So yeah, we'd recommend it.

Yelp
These place was very cool. It is a regular house just outside Lahaina, so everything is within walking distance. The beach out front is really nice too. There is a ton of coral about 300 yards north and the waves were decent. The people working here are very friendly and there is a pool that is noice to relax in between trips to the town and the beach. I stayed in the poolside suite. I would recommend this place. They do not serve breakfast or any other food here.

Gang B.

Yelp
Awesome place to stay awesome people work here and your a minute walk away from the beach I really enjoyed my time here thank you sherry for being awesome!

Yelp
Are you off to Maui? Trying to stay away from the expensive resorts in Wailea and Kapalua? Want to veer away from the crazy Timeshare Resorts of Ka'anapali? Stay in Lahaina! A few minutes walk away from the Lahaina Town Centre, Old Lahaina House is the "idyllic" setting for your journey into Maui. Behind the house, past the gate, walk the corridor to access the sandy beach for a relaxing view of the sea. Inside, the rooms are very clean with A/C, iron, mini-fridge, small TV and a nice bathroom. We stayed at the Double Palms with its 2 twin beds and I am amazed at the size of the room. I did not have to be squeezed in like in the rooms of boutique business hotels. Next trip, I would be eyeing one of the suites with a balcony. Sherri and her family are beautiful! Had a blast chatting with the sons. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay the night at a budget (Maui Pricing) and not break the bank, this fits the bill. The town itself is so close and the shops close to each other you don't have to walk miles and miles to search for deals or places to eat like in Kihei. I found out that Sherri had other properties, some beach front... may want to try those the next trip. If you are into luxury, maid service, paying a lot of money for rooms a night and enslaving the rest of the population for your own enjoyment, this is not a place for you. Choose Ka'anapali or Wailea instead. Pros: Easy going, secure, friendly family, reasonable rates, close to Lahaina, not boring, very close to the beach, no hotel staff to worry about. Cons: Could not think of anything. We slept there, put our stuff there, chatted with the family for quite a bit and made our journey into the four corners of Maui, in and out. Choose the Balcony Suites on the Ground Floor or Top Floor, nice view and a place to relax. Of course, you have the pool if you don't have a room with a balcony... you'll just be the one stared at by the people with a balcony!

Yelp
My two friends and I (21 year old girls) went to Maui and stayed here at this lovely place! We had a great time and the owner and the staff were so friendly and helpful (we were recommended great places to eat nearby)! It was only 200 steps from my bed to the beach (across the street) and only about 10-15 minutes walk to the cosy town of Lahaina. My friend said she felt like a princess waking up in the bed she had! We also had a lot of fun in the pool and our room was clean with a tv, mini fridge, microwave, plates, silverware, glasses and towels (both for the shower and then also for the beach) etc. And also good wifi! We had our own key and our own entrance to the room (which was next to the pool area). A great place to stay and it's awesome for a nice, quiet vacation.

Terri C.

Yelp
I want to give a shout out to the staff of Old Lahaina House last evening. Due to the main road closure because of a fire, people were stranded all over as well as cancelling as they could not get there. We booked the last twin room available and due to need, they opened up a large local home and asked if we could move to a oceanfront master suite. We were happy to do so and were met with wonderful accommodations. The sad part was we had to get back to meeting early today so left before sun was up and weren't able to enjoy visually the ocean, but were lulled to sleep by the sound of it. They were doing all they could to make sure people had beds and were not in cars or shelters. I would definitely stay there on purpose next time just based on there willingness to assist others. It is a cute quaint place.

Yelp
These people are so rude! The price is expensive yet there is dry rot everywhere. The water runs constantly in the shower and sink. The room is right next to some old cars that smell horrid. Don't waste your money

Yelp
Like staying with our favorite aunt! I experienced a smooth process in booking our room through booking.com. There was good verification of the booking and payment, email reminders of the upcoming trip, and a quick response and connection to the property manager through email. My boyfriend and I stayed in the Poolside Room for five nights in December of 2013. The room was a fair price and was accurately represented in the photographs. Manager-owner, Sherry, was delightful. She responded well and quickly to my inquiries through email before our trip. Upon arrival, we received a warm greeting and were made to feel very welcome. The property is shared with family and we felt comfortable like we were staying with our favorite aunt. The exterior property gardens and entries have an eclectic, found-object style which we love. The room was inviting, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The pool surround has different seating options and an outdoor kitchen with grill. We used the grill a few nights for easy, intimate dinners. We thought the location of the house was perfect for a Hawaiian vacation. It is in a residential neighborhood with the beach a few steps away and the town of Lahaina a few blocks away. There was plenty to do without having to hop in the car but also a convenient spot on the island to get around easily for day trips. Our only negative observation would be that maintenance tasks were piling up. When we spoke to Sherry, she was happy to hear our feedback and mentioned her maintenance person was returning the next week from a vacation. Overall the Old Lahaina House and the ownership was a large part of a great trip experience. We would go back and stay there again.

Yelp
The staff is so sweet, informative without being over bearing, and quick to offer suggestions for beaches, restaurants and the like. The room was also super nice! Super clever to put the mini fridge, coffee maker and kitchen utensils in the big closet! Again, I can't say enough nice things about the staff.

Kyle W.

Yelp
A beautiful house a short walk from the beach or town shops. Comfortable beds and great accommodations. A beautiful backyard area with a pool for you to enjoy, and the owner/staff were full of Aloha spirit. What more could you want!?!? I highly recommend staying here if at all possible. I will definitely be back!

Kallie R.

Yelp
We stayed here our last two nights on the island and wish we would have stayed here longer! Sheri was fabulous and the entire team was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The room was beautiful and the location could not have been better. Would definitely come back and stay again next time and will recommend the Old Lahaina House to family and friends.

Patty L.

Yelp
This is a fantastic location and a very quaint, clean and private location. The owner of this establishment is truly a wonderful person! Very personable and desires to make your stay enjoyable!!

Veronika P.

Yelp
This is the greatest, most authentic place to stay in Maui. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We did a girls trip with the three of us, and were fine sharing a king size bed for the week as we were sight seeing and exploring most of the time, but the owner is ALWAYS welcoming. The first night we got there, it was late and and the owner took her time and showed us around as well as showed us where the beach is. They have 4 beautiful dogs and beautiful cats on their property and will let you play with them. Beautiful pool on property, mini fridge and microwave in the room. The beach is just across the street from their house. The owner has so many connections and is always trying to help, assist and accommodate if need be to help you make the most of your trip. Her hospitality is a breath of fresh air. She was able to help us get surf lessons who was amazing at teaching us beginner ladies. Caught some waves!! She will always be available for you and answer any questions you have about Hawaii. Her hospitality made it feel like a home away from home. We definitely gained a Hawaii family. Maui is a place to explore not resort, so this is the best thing you will get to make the most of your trip and for it to feel truly like a dream. Definitely staying here for my next visit!

Betzy R.

Yelp
Simple place. Homey feel to it, owner walked us to the beach and town is walking distance. Perfect spot really. Nice to pet some cats while there as well :)

Yelp
I have to say this place is amazing. I had no complaints. It is a 1 min walk to the beach. And they own two other amazing properties on the beach.

Rebecca J.

Yelp
This sweet little spot was one of our favs on Maui. So delicate, so enchanting and super romantic!! The host Sherry is a doll and someone I consider a friend now. She helped us immensely when our rental car was hit by another car during our stay. I promise you won't be sorry for booking a room with them.

Yelp
Sherrry!!!!!!!! We are so late on the review but we HIGHLY recommend this location to everyone! We two Canadian girls named Leah and Lisa fell in love with this place and Sherry. She helped us out one night at 9:30PM when we left our accommodations super last minute. We ended up staying at her place for the next 5 days. We hope to come visit you sometime soon Sherry and thanks again for everything! Much love, L & L

Yelp
Great place to stay! Very homey feel! The owner was so friendly and sweet! As well as the other 2 girls there! One took us to the beach access which was a short walk! They have chairs, boogie boards & towels! Plus cats & dogs on site for us pet lovers! Mahalo!! Wish we could of stayed longer!

Yelp
I agree with LB from PA. The place looks unkempt and the linens threadbare. The landscaping needed help and there was "stuff" strewn about. The photos look good...but in real life it's the pits!!

Yelp
We paid for a 3 day stay here in January 2015 while waiting to get into a condo we had booked. The pictures made this place look like a romantic doll house setting. Not so!!! Pictures were deceiving! This place was dirty and need some major repairs. Cat hair on outdoor furniture. Cat food dish at the bottom of the staircase that leads up to the rooms. We were warned not to step into the office area due to their dogs. The room we booked needed some major work. Bathroom was old and falling apart. The soap provided in shower was a liquid hand soap sitting on the floor. We spent one night there and left early the next morning. We were able to get a room down the road at the Lahaina Sores Resort for the remaining two nights. Cost us an extra 480.00 (plus the money we lost out on not staying at the Old Lahaina House) but well worth it! When we called the Old Lahaina House to let them know we wouldn't be back they asked why. We told them it wasn't what we had expected and they blamed it on Flip Key advertisement. I can assure you the same nice pictures are on several sights and so very deceiving. If your not picky about cleanliness then this place may be ok for you. The front desk gentleman was friendly enough but we expected so much more!
