Big restaurant with plenty of seating, an outdoor area, and a nice bar for a variety of dining experiences. Great happy hour specials! I got 2 beers and shrimp taco's for $16 (although there was more salad than shrimp on them).

Comfortable old school bar and grill vibe, with classic burger and salad menu items to accompany a wide range of drinks. Yuengling on tap was nice to wash down a satisfying ahi tuna salad. The veggie burger was seared well with hot salty fries. Friendly service. Looked like a chill bar. Nice spot for lunch or dinner. Inside and outside seating.

Excellent service. Great seasonal drink options. The chicken parm sandwich was gigantic and delicious. Love that it came with zucchini fries. My friend also enjoyed her Gobbler sandwich (daily special menu). The dessert case-always amazing options!

Great local restaurant that doesn't take itself too seriously, but still delivers a great meal with many options. Plenty of different vibes. There is a comfortable dining room, nice bar, and outdoor patio dining area. Haven't had a bad meal here, well worth a stop.

Always enjoy this restaurant and it wasn't up to their usual standards. Had the chicken parmesan with vodka sauce and it was very good. A little overcooked but still tasty. Large portions were appreciated. We ordered the calamari appetizer and the pieces were huge (not bite size) and it was way overcooked and leathery. The lighting was a little dark but overall service was very good. We had a table of 6 and overall was ok

Great customer service! I had an issue with my take out order. I called the restaurant not really expecting anything but more frustration and I was pleasantly surprised at how swiftly and effectively the Manager handled the situation. Very pleased and impressed with the Customer Service!

I was in the area right before Valentine’s Day and wanted to try this place. I came here on a Friday and it was very busy. I found a high top table available in the bar area, and was seated. I was given a drink menu and my bf and I ordered a couple of cocktails. Old Man Rafferty’s has a large menu, there’s something for everyone. Anything from Appetizers, Starters and Shares, Kiddos, Soups, Salads, Burgers and Sliders, Hand Helds, Taco Meals,Pizzas, and Entrees. I shared their Coconut Shrimp with Fig Duck Sauce. The Shrimp were a nice size. It was good, the Coconut Shrimp were crispy and the fig duck sauce was a nice addition. It gave a sweet component. I also tried their French Onion Soup. It was served with a caramelized onion and Swiss cheese flat bread. The soup was good, and the flatbread was a nice accompaniment. For my entree I chose their Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes, Peas and Carrots and Beef Gravy. Their meatloaf reminded me more of Salisbury Steak then meatloaf. I didn’t taste any veggies in it. Their mashed potatoes were excellent and the peas and carrots were fresh and very good. My bf ordered their Kurobuta Pork Shank Osso Bucco with Mashed Potatoes, Honey Glazed String beans and Carrots. This is fairly new on their menu and my bf enjoyed his meal. We were very full and didn’t order dessert. They have a nice dessert menu.They do offer special requests, Vegan and Gluten Free dishes. Our service could’ve been better. I asked my server Rachel 3xs to please bring me a menu after we ordered. I wanted to check out something on it. I finally got one from another server, she kept forgetting to bring me one. Our food was delivered to our table by another server. Rachel was very nice but disappeared a lot. She checked on us after we got our cocktails and food, and finally when we got the bill. Once we were done and got our bill, it took another 15 mins or so to check out. I guess there are a lot of regulars in the bar area which adds to a lot of distractions. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable.The lighting is on the dark side. In the bar area are some high tops and in the back are some tables separate from the dining room. Old Man Rafferty’s also has outdoor seating in the warmer months. They have a huge parking lot, and I believe this place is wheelchair accessible. They do have handicap parking. This restaurant is a good place to bring kids. They have a kids menu. The menu has been upgraded since I visited last. New offerings in sandwiches, entrées and fish. Enjoyed the meal. Service and atmosphere continue to be excellent. We had a sloppy Joe deli sandwich, fish fry and a Caesar salad with chicken. All excellent. Had calamari and Mediterranean style appetizers. Excellent as well. Portions were large.

I have been to both the Hillsborough location and the New Brunswick location. Hillsborough is way better hands down. They have outdoor dining, a parking lot and better service. What I loved most was when I went in April on an unusually warm day, they were willing to allow us to sit outside even though most restaurants have strict months where they allow that. They also have a happy hour which I loved and which had a decent variety of food and drinks at a good discount. The food is typical bar food but everything was delicious.

Good food for everybody. With the huge menu, this is my go to stop for variety in New Brunswick.

Had crab cakes with curly French fries, coleslaw and salad. Party of 4 on a hot Saturday at dinner time. The a/c was struggling but our meals were yummy. Split a Dark Side of the Moon dessert cake. Place filled up pretty fast. Still a popular place.

My husband said the Cuban sandwich on the Specials menu was the best he'd ever had. I was happy to see "Healthy Vegan Tacos and ordered that. Menu said it came with rice and beans but the waiter said the bean are made with bacon - clearly NO vegan. Kudos to the waiter for knowing that an item on the dish was not vegan but a pox on OMR's for Calling the Item "Health Vegan " when they put parts of a dead pig in the bean.

been Meaning to write this for a while now. Place is Now Charging to use your Credit card!! 2.75% States that this is for the bank fees. no income for us. What a Bunch of Baloney!! your taking money out of My pocket. thats not income for you!! Why should I pay your fees. Do you pay the Fees my bank charges me when i have to pay my Card payment??? the Answer is no! Nickel and diming us to Death! I know a lot of Places are doing this. (My Vet started doing it too. Dropped them like a Hot potato!) So if the Restaurant is going to charge me to use my credit card. What I do is just don't leave a Tip. if everybody does that. he won't get anyone to work for him. maybe he'll stop this crazy "Surcharge." When the Pandemic was in full swing. he was Begging us to come in. even took Taxpayer money (My Money) to stay afloat. we did come in. kept him in Business. This the paybacks we get! I'm actually going to Start an "APP" that list all the Places that Charge for using your Credit card. with the Advice to Avoid them. There will be a listing of those establishments that DO NOT Charge for using your Credit card. Hoping People will Reward these establishments over the ones that are taking money out of our pockets. Avoid this restaurant. My wife and I met another couple for dinner. she ordered the burger medium. It was well done, dry and tough. She sent it back and the second burger also came back well done dry and tough. It was inedible and she left without eating and hungry Henry P

We order take-out from here often. The staff has gotten better with not messing up our order, but we still always have to check. I started paying with cash, when I can, to avoid the credit card charge. I've noticed that the staff does NOT give back change (I.e., coins). Please let the customer make the decision as to whether or not we want coins back. With the increase in the cost of everything, that's not up to you. And if you don't want to deal with coins, then round in the favor of the customer. Wouldn't you rather have the business than not?

I was there on 6/21. There was no air conditioning because it wasn't working. I felt so sorry for the servers and cooking staff as they tried to work through the heat. This was unacceptable - both to staff and customers. Why not close the place if the environment is unhealthy? Bad choice on the owner's part.

Great pub grub and very good dinner menu. This time I had a bacon cheeseburger made from Pat La Frieda NYC Chuck, Brisket and Short Rib beef on a brioche bun that was cooked to perfection. It was cooked with a warm pink center, was juicy, delicious and the best burger I have had in a very long time! Buffalo Wings are terrific and lightly breaded. Grilled Salmon was perfectly cooked as were steak offerings. Their extensive menu includes terrific desserts which you can see in the refrigerator case. I picked the terrific cheese cake. Service was very friendly and efficient. The place is nicely decorated, dark and has a cozy feeling. Old Man Rafferty's is open for lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch. They have a restaurant in both Hillsborough and New Brunswick. I have tried both over the years and they serve consistently fine food at reasonable prices. They are worth trying, I think you will come back again.

Came in for lunch on a Saturday with family and service was good! When we arrived at 12 it was pretty empty but by the time we left it was packed! We each ordered a different entree such as, Poke bowl, French dip, Gorgonzola/Pear salad, French onion soup, Sloppy Joe and the well known tomato soup with grilled cheese. I also liked the potato chips/ fries. Everyone seem to haveliked there meals. Would recommend this spot- the reviews are awful? Not sure why- we enjoyed overall!

Huge place, good place to watch a game and grab some food and a beer. Friendly service. I'm not usually a fan of breaded wings, but these were good. They also have a decent craft beer selection.

If I had one phrase to describe this place it would be Under-average. Horrific Breaded yet Rubberized Wings with little to no flavor and Cold Soup were how we started the meal. The burgers were bland and tasted like bought in pre made patties. Menu stated 14oz NY Strip (yes before cooking weight) that was served burnt and was more like a 10oz weight. Lackluster sides that accompanied the dishes. The interior is dark and very dated, could benefit from a cleaning and revamping, chairs are very frail and uncomfortable. Not much more to say, on the Don't go back list for certain. Only redeeming quality was our waitress was awesome.

Back in April, I organized a surprise birthday at Old Man Rafferty's for one of my best friends. We had a large group of about 16 people. The manager was wonderful and very accommodating and set us up at two tables, outside under the tent. We were seated immediately and our server was great. He was friendly and successfully juggled all our food and drink orders and we were there for over 3 hours. I tried the meatballs, calamari, ravioli, sliders, and the shrimp. Everything was good, some items better than others. Save room for the desserts, because they are pretty great (although on the small side).

Not sure what happened...this place was truly a favorite of our family going back to the 90's. Would always come a few times per year and have many great memories. But our most recent visit might be our last. The nachos which used to be one of the best in NJ are now uninspired and served in a strange pan. I ordered a summer salad, which sounded great on the menu but came with a bland chicken breast. My wife said her burger was 'pretty good'; but the other 2 couples with us that night didn't seem to finish their main courses. Everyone who has ever been to OMR knows to save space for their fantastic desserts. Maybe we just made the wrong choice this trip because the S'mores Lava Cake which looked delicious, was disappointingly very dry. Service was still attentive; but food seems to have taken a significant downturn in past few months. NOTE: we ate at the New Brunswick location just a few months ago and our dinner there was still very good and I would give New Brunswick 4 out of 5 stars.

Was at the Hillsborough location recently. Ordered an Impossible burger. Nothing like how they were some years back. They upcharge you for a tiny side salad in place of french fries and the burger comes on a bun with a huge piece of lettuce and a couple of tomatoes and a pickle. Used to be served with vegan cheese and something else that it made it worth buying. They no longer offer the cheese and I wish I could remember what else what on it but they now charge $20.00 for what I guess is supposed to be a vegan burger. It really is laughable and the service stinks. The only thing that makes this place worth visiting anymore is the bar! It has gotten worse and worse......

I returned here for a few dishes that are explained below. The giant Bavarian pretzel ($10), blue moon mussels ($13), crispy crab and seafood bites ($13), and the tuna poke ($19) was ordered. The pretzel came with a cheese sauce and spicy beer infused mustard. This was solid. I would have liked to see more salt on the pretzel and less of it in the mustard. The mustard had far too much of it. The mussels were steamed with blue moon ale, garlic, herbs with garlic bread. There were about 25 mussels present here. The broth was solid, and the garlic bread was the best component of this dish as it soaked up all the juices after the mussels were finished. The crab and seafood bites consisted of crabmeat, shrimp, scallops with a panko crust and deep fried with an old bay aioli sauce. This also came with greens and a roasted red pepper. There were 7 present and they were good. The pieces of shrimp and scallops were whole when biting into them, which was nice to see that actual fish was being used here. The tuna poke ($19) consisted of sushi grade tuna, cucumber, and scallions with a Japanese vinaigrette served over rice, seaweed, avocado, and mango. This was my favorite dish tried of the night. The tuna was fresh, and the other toppings blended in well. It was also not overly dressed. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

Not so "Happy" Happy Hour! They raised the price for all the Happy Hour food and decided to give smaller portions. My friend and I ordered the chicken fingers and was shocked at the 3 measly pieces that were served. They were never this small when they were $7. Rafferty's you need to rethink up'ing the price and giving smaller portions! It was a disgrace!

Penalized me for using my credit card. I don't patronize restaurants that charge a fee to pay with a card. Never retuning.

If you love sitting outside under a very spacious tent having a great dessert after an average meal check this place out. I ordered a chicken gyro which was grilled chicken cut not into thin pieces which is a crime against gyros! It came with tomato and cucumbers chopped in what I lovingly call a 'chop chop' fashion (everything is cut into small cubes). But they left the taste in the kitchen or somewhere along the way. Even the garlic yogurt sauce could not rectify the taste and texture problems with chicken and salad. Desert was the saving grace and OMR is known for their desserts. All an all I enjoyed sitting outside eating my below average meal and topping it off with a great dessert and not so hot coffee. I will go back and try something else next time.

When the restaurant is not too busy, the food is only tolerable. The place is extremely chaotic during any holidays and the food is almost not edible. No one came to our table and after 30 minutes, the host approached and asked if we wanted some water then apologized for the lack of service.

I don't know what happened to this place. Whenever we have gone there in the past, we've loved it, and the people we've taken there have loved it. Tonight was a different story. Firstly, in terms of main entrees, their choices were quite limited. For many years, my wife enjoyed their Chilean Sea Bass, and today it was no longer on the menu. It seems that they are going away from entrees to focus more on their sandwiches (albeit some are fancier sandwiches) instead. I could be wrong on this observation, but that's what it seemed. Secondly, there were hardly any of their massive desserts (which rival Cheesecake Factory in my opinion)...on a Sunday night! Thirdly, the service was not very good. My wife ordered soup, and after 15 minutes, we had to ask where it was. They apologized and quickly brought it out. My entree (skirt steak) was good, but part of my wife's osso buco was cold...not a good thing. We were very disappointed this evening, and we think we're going to take a break from this place for awhile.

I used to frequent here when I lived in the area and when my son had sporting events that brought us back into town. I was in town earlier in the week and gladly remembered the spot. Was pleasantly surprised how they have updated and expanded their outside seating area, they had bright yellow & blue umbrellas full of lush greenery and beautiful plants, making it very inviting. It happened to be a glorious, beautiful mid October day so we happily sat outside. We were greeted immediately with a friendly waiter (I always take not to remember wait staffs names, I had nipped into the loo & my bf did not get his name ~ my bad) by the time I had come out I had a water & a seltzer waiting for me :) The one thing I remembered about Old Man Rafferty's was its huge, book-like menu, that would take me forever to decide on a meal. I was pleasantly surprised that they had streamlined their fare. (At least for lunch anyways). They still had many items to choose from, any one could go here, meat-lovers, pescatarians, vegetarians, kids, they had something for everyone and a nice cocktail & ale menu. The place as always was clean, staff was neat, friendly and efficient. We had the Boom Boom Shrimp, tempura. Shrimp with a spicy aioli ~ were cooked perfectly & sauce had the right amount of kick to it I chose the chipotle lime shrimp salad, this was a meal in itself, could only eat 1/2 of it, it that! Was full of greens, fiesta rice, peas, corn, black beans, red onion, avocado & perfectly rubbed spicy grilled shrimp served with a homemade vinegarette dressing, one of the best salads I've eaten ever! My BF had the French Dip, the roast beef was served thin, pink & warm on a toasted roll. Served with au jus & perfectly crisp French fries ... he said "wow finally a great French Dip! Warm & cooked perfectly, no added arugula or weird sauces - yum!" The last three times he's been somewhere and ordered one it's been his word "weird" not served the traditional way maybe he should actually read how it's served? Anyways, lunch was delicious, no wait time, we weren't rushed, was a beautiful day, nothing bad to say! OMR is back on my radar, we will be back!

Service was great , food not so much. The nachos were disgusting / came out in an oven tray , chips were hard as rocks , cheese was over cooked and spotty. Mozzarella half moons were gross - marinara sauce was terrible. Fried chicken sandwich was over cooked , hard chicken and messy. What a shame. Also, the outdoor seating was cramped and big standing plants were obnoxiously placed. Awful. Fries & coleslaw were good at least. Thank goodness for Rita's otherwise the entire dining experience would have been a complete waste.

I haven't been here in SO long. The menu has an amazing variety. For years my favorite app was the Broccoli Bacon Bites...and they are still AMAZING! We all enjoyed our entrees....Crab sliders, fish tacos, scallop special, & white fish with seasoned breadcrumbs (in photo below). The specialty cocktails were also a hit! The staff were great as well! Definitely an enjoyable family dinner!!

The bartender over serves and takes shots behind the bar... doesn't even deserve 1 star

We had a party of seven adults and two small children. We ordered three appetizers and they came quickly and hot. Some guests ordered beer and others mixed drinks. Not one person was disappointed with their entrees. The children's menu had several choices. The prices were reasonable and the service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and attentive even the young man who cleared our table. This will be our "go-to" place whenever we are in Hillsborough.

We aren't familiar with the area but needed a place for my son's rehearsal dinner and this was close to the venue. Dropped by last year and had a great lunch so we booked it. We couldn't have picked a better place! Dylan was a calm pleasure to work with. The food, service and ambiance were outstanding and we thank all involved for helping to make it a perfect wedding weekend!

We parked in the back and entered through the patio area, where there are all kinds of flowers in pots displayed and a man keeping the wood going in the grill! Smells nice. We got a quiet table in the dining room and Izzy our waitress was very good and kind. We had to order a loaf of bread and butter; they serve it on a wood board with cutting knife with all kinds of sauces you can add to your sourdough bread. It was very good! We both ordered the french onion soup crock, which is out of this world -- the taste of the broth is so light and refreshing, of course the cheese and bread inside the crock also good. I got the prime rib and mashed potatos and seasonal veggies and my husband got the meatloaf. Both meals were a good size, we got to take some home with us. We had drinks from the bar and went. We didn't stay for dessert. Maybe next time. There is music playing in the background too with current songs. Very nice ambience in the dining room and we got to pick where we wanted to sit! We'll be back.

I've been coming here for a little over 15 years now, even before I lived in Hillsborough and I'm actually surprised I've never reviewed OMR. They are one of the reasons why I moved to Hillsborough. I met so many locals here and made so many friends here over the years, many of whom I am still friends & neighbors with today, that it made me feel like it was home to me. I'd like to give it 5 stars but there are times when I've ordered from here where I felt like the food was rushed and undercooked. The times it's not like that, the food is fantastic! This combined with the atmosphere of being what is more like a classier bar/restaurant really gets them a better review from me. There was a point in time many years ago that they started to go downhill a little on the quality of their food but that has changed so much and it's almost like it used to be when I first started to come here. They really stepped up their game as well since the start of the pandemic, so props to them on this as well. While the menu choices remain the same, the quality of the food has gotten better. From what I know, Friday nights are usually the popular nights here. You may get a nice crowd on a random weeknight too. Glad to see that business is still good at OMR!

We came here for lunch after a family funeral. Our party was given the whole back room. The wait staff took our orders quickly. One of our waitresses was Rachel. I appreciated her friendliness and sense of humor. There were a lot of options for the tweens/teens in our family, some of whom tend to be picky. They liked the ravioli, burgers, mozzarella sticks and pretzel (which was huge). They did a good job with my steak, veggies and fries. I am grateful to Old Man Rafferty's for providing a good, enjoyable meal during a difficult time in our family.

I like when I take a gamble and try a new place, plate, or drink, and it actually works out. I think I had that feeling when we decided to come here for dinner. For my drink, I had the High Fashion (Tanqueray gin, ElderFlower liqueur, grapefruit juice, bitters) -thumbs up. Prior to dinner, I enjoyed their tomato basil soup which was served with an itsy bitsy portion of grilled cheese-very tasty. I then ordered their sea bass dish which was topped with a mushroom medley. I kindly moved the medley off of my plate and gave it to my mother who, unlike me, loves mushrooms. I knew the dish included mushrooms, but that was excessive. I was however surprised that the sea bass was basically drowning in their wine broth. I used the separate plate of sticky rice to soak up some of the broth. Although the dish looked more like a fish soup, I did enjoy my dinner. The portion I took home to-go (leaving behind a lot of the broth) tasted quite good the next day. My mother and I shared a personal-sized lemon meringue pie which was okay, but neither of us liked the crust. I especially loved this location over New Brunswick as it was less busy and parking wasn't an issue.

Trash, worst food we've ever had. We ordered take out and when we got home found that instead of a normal portion of calamari, we got 5 calamaris..... why is it so expensive if you serve 5 calamaris? We also ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, was not good at all, the spin dip from applebees is better (and that says alot). If you're looking for quality food, go somewhere else.

Pretty disappointed with my order to go. Hamburger had no taste at all and lacked any toppings or seasonings. Sauces with the giant pretzel tasted funny so we threw them out. Rubbery Buffalo wings were horrible. Why is the Buffalo sauce in a side cup instead of mixed on the wings ? We have been coming here for many years, but sad to say, the food has gone downhill the last few visits. Must be a new chef

This was THE place to go to as a Boro resident for many years and it was always consistently great. I stopped going a couple years back because it had definitely changed. We decided to give it another shot this past weekend and had a fantastic dinner! The pretzel app was hot and chewy and the two dipping sauces, cheese and mustard, were just right. I had the fish tacos and was thrilled to see pan seared Sea Bass was the fish they served instead of a fried fish and it was delicious. My husband had "the best" burger he's had in a long time and my mother in law raved about the Reuben. Portions were large enough to bring home extra and the service was great. There are so few decent dining options in our area so I'm glad we can come back to Rafferty's again!

There was a decent amount of places to park our cars in the parking lot. We noticed the outside and thought it was funny/cute that is said "Established not that long ago". It took a little while for a hostess to come up to the podium and ask how big our party was (we were a large group of eight with no reservations so they had to take a little bit to get our table together). We were seated in the bar area, right in front of the projection screen. I ordered a Root Beer (which got a free refill), a crock of French onion soup, and the pulled pork sandwich. There are so many dessert options, I wish we were able to save room for that, but we were too full at the end (it was neat how they list the dessert items first cuz they stated that life is short and you should have the dessert first haha). My French Onion soup was pretty good - very cheesy, but felt a tad watered down? There was something slightly off about it. My pulled pork sandwich was good, just wish it had a tad more sauce on it. The sweet potato fries were good, and it also came with Cole slaw. Not sure if they do this for all tables, or cuz we were a group of eight, but they automatically included gratuity which we didn't like. We even asked to have two separate bills (one bill of five people and one bill of three people). When we were getting ready to leave, we decided to go to the bathroom. There's two sets of bathrooms, one by the bar (where we were), and one towards the back of the main entrance. Both only have two stalls in each. The one in the bar was gross..... the one stall was completely clogged, and the other stall literally had blood near the door..... we ran RIGHT out of that bathroom and headed to the other set of stalls. In there, one stall said "Out of Service", and the other one was fine. They have a nice display of desserts in a case and was debating picking one up for the way home, but I didn't.

My sister recently moved into the area, so we decided to try out this neighborhood restaurant back in mid October. The reviews I saw weren't great, so I was kind of apprehensive, but we decided to go because they said they could accommodate the nut allergy in our party. Well, our party of 7 loved this place! It was spacious with an upscale kind of feel. Service was excellent! Our server was really nice and very conscious of the allergy. The food was delicious! 6 out of 7 loved the food! The 7th was okay with it. My family and I loved this place and will definitely be back!

Nice, causal restaurant to have in Hillsborough. Very spacious dining areas and also a cool outdoor bar area for the warmer months. The menu has lots to choose from; all comforting foods. We got the fried mozzarella for an appetizer which were like bricks--so huge! Really cheesy and thick, I loved it. I got the short rib macaroni and cheese for dinner. The Mac and cheese was really good, cheesy and crispy how I like. The short rib was a bit of a letdown; kinda fatty and not as soft or flavorful as I imagined. It was difficult to decide on what to get for dessert because the dessert case has so many tasty looking options, but I decided with the Dark Side of the Moon cake which I've been told is a customer favorite. It was really chocolaty and decadent and the cake was nice and moist. I can't wait to go back to try more of the menu, especially that tasty dessert!

We swung by here tonight for dinner. Speed overall was pretty quick being so busy and pretty full. Looks like their outdoor area is pretty packed too. We started with chicken nachos that were pretty good. Huge delicious. Then we had a Cobb salad with grilled chicken and seafood risotto with shrimp and scallops. The scallops were over cooked and a bit chewy but the shrimp were good. Also, the jalapeño margarita would only get a 3 stars if this review were just for that. No one (staff wise) is wearing a mask either.

We had a great meal with our server Faith. If we lived closer, we'd be here all the time. The menu is innovative, the vibe is really cool. Definitely two thumbs-up.

Really love the food here. Wide selection with all the basics and more - something for everyone. Ambiance is a bit old school but the staff and service are great.

Always good food and drinks. Always satisfied with the service. Now even happier about going due to a breakup!

Great food! We sat on patio and had a wonderful time. Calamari appetizer was stellar. I had a great seared ahi tuna salad - very good! We went back the following week and had the fish and chips - so delicious and large portion and grilled salmon - stellar dish!

Wow- I hadn't been to OMR since my New Brunswick, Nj days in the 90's! I remember hose huge fresh sandwiches and wow, I was not disappointed today! The BLT was monstrous and perfect to share with my wife. Mounds of bacon, Lettuce and Tomato with toasted white bread and yummy mayo. We also enjoyed starters, the broccoli bacon bites, the chicken fingers and the loaded potato skins. We couldn't resist the deserts that were on display. The mini red velvet cake and apple crumble pie were perfectly sweet and baked. The coffee and tea choices were a1 too. The chicken fingers were huge and in my opinion very salty and way too much breading. They were over seasoned. We liked the choices of dipping sauces. I have nw we seen potatoes cut and fried the way they did them. Outrageous and good!! The onion rings were also over battered and friend. The staff was amazing and the place was so nicely decorated. The bathroom was clean and that's always important to me. The chairs were hard on the derrière as the padding on the chairs have worn thin over time.
