Old Parish House

An exceptional stay. I loved the history of the place . The location was central but peaceful , I loved sitting having a drink outside at the cafe on the beautiful square with the church bells ringing. The rooms were pristine , the breakfast was delicious 😋 the staff were warm, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I couldnt recommend this place enough.

I stayed here for two nights and would definitely stay here again. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect with a short walk to the lake and the main bus stop. I stayed in a partial view room and the views of the lake were perfect! Breakfast was everything you needed before a day of exploring.

This hotel was lovely. Simply but well decorated, quiet and calm. It is really well located, next to the church but with views of the lake and away from the crowds in the main part of the town. Breakfast was really good with coffee and eggs made to order. They were able to cater for my coeliac daughter, with gluten free bread for breakfast. ||We really enjoyed our stay here, thank you to the staff for being so welcoming.

The historical connections were matched by the warmth generosity and friendliness of the staff.|I liked how each room was named after a local historical identity, with information on them on the wall in the room.|Adjacent to St Martin’s church it was close to the lake and castle but in a quiet part of town which added to its appeal. The path to the castle was out the front. |The manger have a super recommendation for a local Slovenian restaurant, no more than 300metres away, and it turned out to be a fabulous meal in a warm friendly place.

Just like on the pictures- much appreciated the calmness compared to the city closer to the lake. Morning coffee infront on the church and parking right next door - the perfect start for your holiday. (as for Bled - 1 day is probably sufficient, you can't really go into the water (paid or crowded) and the sights are limited/expensive compared to similar places in Slovenia (18 Eur castle, 20 Eur boat, 15 Eur beach entrance. ..)

Great stay. We appreciated the spacious parking nearby that's only for guests. The location itself is great, just next to the steps for the castle and just 5 mins to lakeside and the centre of Bled, however, felt much more isolated and quiet which was nice. Breakfast good with eggs as an option and meats, cheeses, overnight oats, fruit, etc. which set us up well for our days exploring. Rooms were done nicely, more modern than I expected and there was 10% discount at the cafe and shop but actually there was also a tea and coffee station for guests on the first floor so we got tea at night for free to take to the room or sit there on the sofa. The only thing I would mention is that we went for an early walk and came back to relax at 12pm but they were cleaning other rooms. There's no "do not disturb" or "clean my room" sign so they walked in on us (thankfully clothed!) and then didn't go back to clean our room when we went out at 1/2pm later on. Maybe just add some signs?

This is an absolute gem of a place to stay! Very charming. Breakfast was very good. In a great location, easy access to path to lake. Getting there thru the streets of Bled can be a little challenging, but it is part of the adventure. Able to park car here. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Room a bit cold at night, other than that great vibes, tasty breakfast, simple but sturdy decor and the location is amazing.
