Stunning views. Room was spacious and clean. Fab breakfast that will keep you going all day. Amazing location, there is a beautiful beach just a 5 min drive away with a pub/restaurant. Short drive away from Dingle. Wish we could have stayed longer... S

My wife and I loved our stay at The Old Pier Guesthouse. We were the only folks in the inn for the night but Jacquie was sure we didn’t miss out on any of the effort that would’ve been made had it been full. The fireplace was warming the breakfast room and the food was plentiful. We enjoyed chatting with her and appreciated how welcome she made us feel. The view out of our room was spectacular!

My husband and I stayed here with my parents. It really is a lovely B&B with a stunning view and both our rooms were clean and spacious. The friendly staff welcomed us with tea, coffee and scones, which made for a great start of a weekend away on the Dingle peninsula. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is of great quality. Jacqueline will book tours for you if you wish and a packed lunch if you are going on a tour is no problem - she makes lovely fresh sandwiches.

We arrived in Dingle to spectacular views along the coast, reaching the Old Pier B & B we had it at our front door and our room window where we watch the sun set. Jackie is amazing offering us coffee and cake when we arrived. The room was lovely, beautiful bed linen and luxurious towels. The bathroom was very nice as well.||The morning breakfast is like a 5* hotel, the most amazing selection of fresh fruits such as berries, strawberries, melons, cheeses, meats, cereals, great coffee, yogurts and a hot Irish breakfast or delicious pancakes, or salmon with scrambled eggs or a huge omelette.||Jackie and her family are so warm, welcoming and helpful with great tips for sites to see and places for dinner.||Great location to see all that Dingle has to offer in a peaceful setting!

Great BnB with beautiful scenery. Owner Jacqui is so friendly and helpful. We booked two rooms - both with great space and spotless. Cooked breakfast was excellent. About 15 min drive from Dingle - worth walking down to the pier for a dip or walking to the nearest beach....beautiful surroundings! Wish we couldve stayed longer

In late October, I returned to the Old Pier for my annual visit to the Dingle Peninsular - I've been doing this for quite a few years. In my initial visits to the area, I stayed in upmarket B&Bs in Dingle town with a view of the sea but Wild Atlantic Way it was not. Then I discovered the Old Pier which is only a 15 minute drive from Dingle on the R549 signposted "Brandon Creek" (well worth a visit). The Old Pier is in a magnificent cliff top setting. From the front rooms you have an amazing view of the real wild Atlantic (not the placid sheltered sea you have when staying in Dingle town). And even the rear rooms give you a view of dramatic Mount Brandon. To your left from the front there's the impressive triple mountains "The Three Sisters" and just across the road from the hotel there's the hidden Dooneen Harbour and stone pier which although no longer actively used is what you would expect to see in this part of the world. Hollywood knows a special location when it needs one and it's only about five miles south on the Slea Head road from the hotel that "The Last Jedi" in the Star Wars series had some scenes shot at Ceann Sibéal in 2016. ||When staying at the Old Pier you will not be paying the excessive prices demanded in Dingle town but you will have a very comfortable stay. The bedrooms are a good size and well furnished, the en suite bathroom with walk in shower is spotlessly clean. The towels are pristine white and are changed every day. But the real joy for me is the generous breakfast which caters for all tastes and sets you up for the day. The hosts, Paid and Jacquie, will make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them. I'm looking forward to next year's visit already! Give Dingle town a miss and discover what awaits you in terms of the real Wild Atlantic Way just a few miles away.

This is a great option if you don't want to be in the hustle and bustle of Dingle town. We came to the area to do Slea Head Drive, and Old Pier was a great location to access this drive.||||Lovely bed and breakfast. Our rooms had views of either the bay, with the Three Sisters mountains, or farmers’ fields. Nice touches of tea/coffee service and mini cupcakes in the room.||||Fantastic showers with plenty of hot water and water pressure!||||Lots of options for breakfast, both cold items and cooked items in the restaurant. ||||The innkeeper was very helpful with tips of places to eat and what to see along Slea Head Drive.

Jackie provides an amazing breakfast, including the best buffet breakfast (nuts, fruits, etc) of the b&bs we stayed at on the Dingle Way. She drove us to and from dinner in the nearest pub, couldn’t ask for better service! Doors slamming are a bit loud, and we had a view of the parking lot — otherwise I’d have given 5 stars!
