Old Prague Hotel

The location of the hotel was excellent — truly perfect for exploring Prague. The breakfast was also outstanding, with great variety and quality. However, despite the temperature outside being around -6°C, the room was extremely cold. After several complaints to the reception, I was told that nothing could be done and that the heating was supposedly working normally. In reality, the heating was lowered at night, making the room uncomfortably cold. I had to sleep wearing a jacket, which is completely unacceptable. When I asked for the air-conditioning remote, I was told that the owner had taken all of them and only provides them during the summer season. For €100 per night, this level of service is unacceptable. Being cold and forced to sleep in a jacket is not what anyone should experience in a hotel at this price point.

The location is perfect! The service & breakfast was so nice. The value for money is great! Rooms were clean and warm! The staff were so friendly! I was so satisfied with this place. Highly recommended

Very good location, friendly and informative stuff, very good complimentary breakfast and luggage services. Beautiful renovated rooms in a historic charming building with height ceiling and modernized furnishings and finishes. Very clean. Kettle and fridge in the room. Competitive prices. Highly reccomend.

My booking was hacked twice. The first incident occurred on 21. July 2025, when scammers contacted me through the Booking.com chat, asking me to re-enter my credit card details. I informed the hotel about this via email, but only received a generic response about a week later through the Booking.com chat (instead of by email), confirming that they had been hacked. A more serious incident happened on 6. October 2025. Although the hotel had warned me via the Booking.com chat in late September that they had been hacked again, the scammers contacted me directly on WhatsApp this time. When I tried to inform the hotel through the Booking.com chat, the scammers themselves replied on the Booking.com chat 😄 once again requesting my credit card details. At that point, I decided to cancel my booking. Overall, I find that the hotel’s response in terms of data protection and security was inadequate

The service here was amazing, very friendly people, delicious breakfast, rooms are nice, some things might need work, but i also understand is an old building and their trying to keep it as close to the original as positive. Over all good experience and very close to everything.

The location of the hotel was central and very convenient for Prague's excellent public transport. It was old fashioned in a good way and felt safe and friendly. The other guests were mainly couples and friends; I didn't get the feeling that party crowds stayed here We had a nice quiet room at the back. The bed was super comfy and the room was spacious and very cosy. The cleanliness of the room and premises was superb. We loved the excellent choices for breakfasts, including fresh fruit, and the serving time (7.30 -10.30). The staff we met were very friendly. I'm really pleased that we chose to stay here. I'd stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Lovely quaint hotel in quiet area. Given Room 301. Really spacious. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast had good selection. Great central location close to all main attractions. Only thing is only 2 English channels on Tv but wouldn't put us off staying here again. Shower had great power and no issue as seen on other reviews. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in a great location central to most areas, on arrival it appears very dark and old fashioned but it’s part of its character, rooms were decent with air con, fridge, kettle etc fresh towels and shower gel daily , the breakfast was excellent and worth pre booking.
