I went into the cafe to eat a piece of cake. When I entered, I wasn't greeted by the service staff and stood around for a few minutes while they chatted away. At some point, she asked me if I wanted anything (no, I'm just here for fun 😂). I can't say anything about the quality of the food and drinks; since she didn't have any change, I couldn't buy anything... haha, what a place! There's still a lot of room for improvement.

We enjoyed our stay here, private room with ac and bathroom with a comfy bed and big duvet. Bathroom was leaking and stains on the wall but a nice location and all we really needed for a 2 night stay

They tried to charge me for internet here — 300 rupees for half the day, and more for the full day but I don’t quite remember what the charge for that was. This was even though I ordered a coffee for 220 rupees. Then when I left they forgot I paid and asked me to pay again. Unfortunate and indifferent service, which is a shame because the location is great and the interior is cozy and has potential.

Good location and vibes. Breakfast is included and wi-fi is available only in the lobby. Washroom is not attached to the dorm. Its just outside the dorm.

Amazing Stay with Great Vibes! I recently stayed at ‘Old Quarter by thehostelcrowd’ in Goa, and it was an incredible experience! The location was perfect, close to some great cafes and bars. The atmosphere was super chill, with a vibrant mix of travelers from all over around. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with local recommendations or just hang out in the common areas. The hostel itself was clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and lockers for security. I especially loved the outdoor lounge area, where you could relax & meet new people.

There should be more lighting and a mirror in the room to get ready.... bathroom window glass was broken so it wasn't safe for female

I stayed in the separate room. The room itself was lovely... quite spacious and the balcony is awesome. Comfy bed and nice big table and arm chairs. The bathroom was not cleaned and still had the last guests trash in the bin. For the price it is a steal, just check on the cleanliness and ask for issues to be fixed as needed. Owner and staff are super helpful. Location is fantastic.

Underperforming hostel, go elsewhere! We stayed in 6-bed AC dorm: very unhygienic: used pizza box with rotten food was there all 3 days we were here, used bottles and food packaging in room that aren’t cleaned up, someone’s used toothbrush in my bed. Same for bathroom: broken window stuffed w/ tissue, no toilet paper unless you go get yourself, stained mirror & toilet seat - not a place you want to wash yourself. AC not strong enough for room so still hot. Breakfast is included, but super basic: toast with jam or UPF cheese sandwich, not nutritious or tasty. Service is mediocre and inattentive (e.g. finishing heating up soup first whilst we wanted to check in, or upon serving breakfast you have to collect yourself whilst the cafe visitors do get table service). No hostel/traveller vibe at all, nor does the hostel try to cultivate it. Only thing going for it is the location. Better to take a picture of the facade and look elsewhere to stay.
