Amazing location but pathetic hostel to stay. We stayed in their "double deluxe" room for 1 night, apparently their best offering. There was nothing good about the place. Mould everywhere, everything in need of repair, stale smell everywhere. Water in the bathroom was smelling funky, rust everywhere. We asked others staying in the dorm and they too were not happy with the hostel. Thankfully I only needed a place to stay for 1 night so got out as soon as possible. Never booking this again. No bath/hand towels, no bath mat, no wardrobe. Even the common area has a ton of mould.

Had some amazing coffee here, and the warm brownie was absolutely delicious! The staff are super kind and always wear a smile. Danford served us today and made the experience even better with his friendly and attentive service. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay here, private room with ac and bathroom with a comfy bed and big duvet. Bathroom was leaking and stains on the wall but a nice location and all we really needed for a 2 night stay

I went into the cafe to eat a piece of cake. When I entered, I wasn't greeted by the service staff and stood around for a few minutes while they chatted away. At some point, she asked me if I wanted anything (no, I'm just here for fun 😂). I can't say anything about the quality of the food and drinks; since she didn't have any change, I couldn't buy anything... haha, what a place! There's still a lot of room for improvement.

Amazing Stay with Great Vibes! I recently stayed at ‘Old Quarter by thehostelcrowd’ in Goa, and it was an incredible experience! The location was perfect, close to some great cafes and bars. The atmosphere was super chill, with a vibrant mix of travelers from all over around. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with local recommendations or just hang out in the common areas. The hostel itself was clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and lockers for security. I especially loved the outdoor lounge area, where you could relax & meet new people.

They tried to charge me for internet here — 300 rupees for half the day, and more for the full day but I don’t quite remember what the charge for that was. This was even though I ordered a coffee for 220 rupees. Then when I left they forgot I paid and asked me to pay again. Unfortunate and indifferent service, which is a shame because the location is great and the interior is cozy and has potential.

There should be more lighting and a mirror in the room to get ready.... bathroom window glass was broken so it wasn't safe for female

I stayed in the separate room. The room itself was lovely... quite spacious and the balcony is awesome. Comfy bed and nice big table and arm chairs. The bathroom was not cleaned and still had the last guests trash in the bin. For the price it is a steal, just check on the cleanliness and ask for issues to be fixed as needed. Owner and staff are super helpful. Location is fantastic.
