Perfect place for history lovers. There is so much to do here. Plenty of shops, plenty of food and plenty of museums. There’s something for everyone here to do. I got to enjoy the day and night time experience.

I was walking from the driveway to where my jeep was parked. And I had $150 to put in the parking meter in my hand the transition from driveway to sidewalk was not clear cause I didn't see this til it was to late! I was flying face first into the ground with enough force to knock the wind out of me and I dropped all but 1 of those quarters of course they rolled ondee the wooden walkways .I hard my back pretty good I hope I didn't really hurt myself. It hurt pretty bad I'm wondering if I should go to the doctor and maybe see a lawyer .cause this sidewalk is a danger to anyone walking up the sidewalk.

Old Sacramento! An absolute must if you're looking for a great day, trip or family outing. Lots of things to look at, trains to ride, eclectic stores to shop, friendly faces, happy people, the waterfront, and all the old historic buildings many with informational plaques to help you learn about our great state. Oh and you will definitely find some great food including the made to order mini donuts with ice cream, candied apples from the candy store, oh so many different candies from the candy store... Their fudge... To die for! So if you get a chance, don't miss Old Sacramento. Make sure and get your picture taken for a great memento!

Love the vibe everytime I visit. It's always good to be in Old Sacramento. It's the city's charm. Love the area, but it does need a facelift with more good restaurants.

Old Sacramento is one of the tourist attractions in the Sacramento area. I loved to come here and enjoy the old Western town feeling with the wooden sidewalks and the stone streets. The stores and restaurants in the historical buildings make the shopping and dining experience more fantastic than any other area in town.

Even though a lot has changed over the many years. This is still a nice place to visit. Shop owners are usually always polite and helpful. The train museum is a must to visit. You should also book an underground tour.
