Old Stone Farmhouse

The atmosphere and food are incredible, but the service was a little lacking for being a fine dining establishment. We had a variety of dishes and appetizers, drinks and desserts, and they were all delicious. Our server was very nice and was attentive at first, but then disappeared for quite a while after our appetizers were delivered. No one came to check on us until after we had finished our entrees. We had a bottle of wine in a chiller across the room and ended up getting it ourselves since we hadn’t been checked on in a while by anyone to see if we needed more wine/drinks/waters - neither our server nor the man that brought us the wine came by between appetizers or entrees (a third person brought the entrees out quickly). I believe they are still very newly re-opened and could be working through some kinks, but we were hoping for a bit more with the service. We’ll definitely return and give them another shot, hopefully it was just a one-off night.

The ambiance at Old Stone Farmhouse is romantic with its beautiful interior. The service is top tier and the food is delicious.

Best food we have had since arriving to St Thomas. We were so over all the same ole Carribean food. It was so nice to get a great steak. The atmosphere is so cool and the service was great!

Gorgeous place, excellent food, awesome service! Went there for Valentine's Day, a prix fixe meal involving caviar-topped salmon paté and other amazing foods. Valet parking. Note: V-Day menu was $175. Per person. They won't tell you unless you ask, so ask when you make your reservation, or at least before you arrive.

We ordered small plates swordfish skewers and scallops and Tres leches desert. They were delicious. Especially the sauces. The restaurant reopened for season. Wine selection is excellent. I’m glad we dined there on opening night. Of fine dining recommendations on the island this was one of the few that is truly fine dining. Some others were simply very expensive for above average food.

From the moment we drove onto the property, we knew we were in for a treat. The valet parking service is helpful being that the restaurant is on a hill. On our last day in St. Thomas after a full one week trip, we came for Sunday brunch before our flight. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays.. We strongly recommend making reservations. The maitre d' - Barbara is truly a gift. We commented on the beautiful music selection 🎶 and learned Barbara was responsible for the playlist selection. It set the right tone as we enjoyed our last meal in the capital Charlotte Amalie. I really enjoyed the shrimp and grits as it made me nostalgic of childhood memories. My partner had the French toast and found it okay. He really enjoyed the dessert- apple crisp, while I enjoyed the chocolate torte. The staff here are very courteous and attentive. We enjoyed our quiet moment while dining before the larger groups came in and it became very noisy. This was one of our most memorable dining experiences and look forward to returning when in STVI again.!🌞🏝️

The restaurant itself was beautiful with romantic ambiance. However my steak tartare was not eye appealing and my main dish salmon was overcook. The steak tartare looked gray like it was cooked with acid. I was thinking about returning it but I was with friends and didn’t want to make a fuss about it. And one of my friend lobster was overcook as well and his mushroom risotto was not creamy. Plus the service was soooooo slow. Unfortunately will not return.

My favorite restaurant ever. Reminds me a lot of some of the vineyards I’ve visited in Italy. Such a beautiful atmosphere, very romantic. Delicious food and drinks. Great for dinner with your partner or a nice place to share with friends. Barb is amazing, she’s so sweet and helpful.
