Stayed here for study abroad, couldn’t have been put in a better place. Lovely apartments, bedding, bathroom conditions, not to mention the amazing staff and over the phone maintenance was always so helpful. Nothing here to complain about and strongly recommends to anybody looking to rent and/or study here!

I stayed at OTA Hostel in Pappelallee in June 2022 and I enjoyed very much. This time I travel to Berlin with some friends and rented a flat in Metzerstrasse: we loved it! Clean, spacious and with a fantastic view! Strongly suggested!

We booked one of the large apartments which had six single beds. The area is quiet so sleeping no issue and there are lots of bars, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. If you are driving its only 5 euros to park put in the street per day providing your car has a green tax disc for Berlin. Reception can provide the pass to allow you to park. The apartment we had was clean and spacious. The only downside with such a large apartment was it only having one bathroom. Then again it wasn't a problem for us. Very good value for money and I would recommend and stay here again.

We booked a three bed apartment, which was large, well-kept if functional and situated in a quiet residential area of Prenzlauer Berg. At the same time it was close to the U/S-Bahn and easily possible to amble into the heart of Berlin. ||||Good value, beds comfortable. Great for small parties/groups of people rather than booking individual hotel rooms. ||||Wi-fi all round.||||Need to bear in mind other residents as in residential building.

The apartment was huge with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. It is just a short walk to the underground and a supermarket. The office staff were extremely helpful in providing travel advice and general information. I had two concerns, firstly the lack of fire regulations and secondly there were no restraints on the windows. Windows opened fully even though we were on the third and fourth floors. Not a place I would recommend for children.

I really enjoyed staying here, I arrived alone and stressed after a long journey with delays- the staff on arrival were very friendly and even upgraded our room to a large apartment. The apartment itself was massive, a really great size with three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms were significantly better than the other one, but as there were only four of this didn't matter too much. The location is a little far out, but still great. When we went there didn't seem to be many other people there and it was very quiet. Asides from at around 10pm in the evening we never had any problems with noise or heard anything. The only point I would make is that it would be nice for the bedrooms to each have a mirror in, as all trying to get ready with one mirror is very hard. Overall a great, spacious place to stay.

We are family of four; parents and two teenagers and had a studio on second floor. The apartment was clean and since we basically only slept there it was enough for us. However, the room did not had air condition but a fan in the table, which was of course better than nothing but could not call it as air condition which was stated in the description. We stayed for four nights and could have really used clean and dry towels at some point, in the end our towels (summer and teenagers) were really awful as there was no place to dry them either. ||||Since there are no elevators one could hear everyone coming up or down from the stairs - the corridor was echoing so we woke up almost every night when other residents came home early in morning (or late in the evening, especially drunken loud youngsters!). So the apartment was not serviced (no filling up of toilet paper or changing clean towels or cleaning at all) and at least in summer there were several groups of young people who were really loud. ||||What is also good to realize is that you have to check in in totally different place, almost two kilometers from the apartment. We did walked from there to the apartment but with luggage and sun, I would not do it again.

We booked this hotel through a travel agent. The location is close to public transport, a short walk to the end of the road to the tram that links Alexanderplatz - buses, U-banh and the S-bahn. Down the other end of the street is a Green Supermarket - a little more expensive, however, around the corner and 15 min walk is a normal market for your supplies. The check-in was fine, the entry was through a set of doors then stairs to the lift/stairs/rooms, on the last day we found another entry (from the side street) and the lifts to the ground level, as a family of 5 travelling with large bags, it would have been nice if the check-in person told us this access on check-in, one reason for the average rating. We stayed on the level above the shops, so we had an apartment above us, this was the second reason for the average rating, the guests in the apartment above thought it would be a great idea to bounce a ball from 10pm to 3 am each night. On the second night I rang the after hours number at 3 am and was told to go a knock on their door to solve the problem, I didn't accept this solution. Luckily, they must have solved the problem by another means. After hundreds of reviews, this is one of my few negatives reviews. Hint: ask for the top floor, and ask explicitly for street level lift access if you have heavy bags.
