Hi ho Mongolia is always amazing. Fun times comics has stttaaaaaacckkks of comics new and old.

Today was another typical visit to the Hy-Vee grocery store. An added bonus was that the stores were providing Treat bags and stuff throughout the store for the kids today. Not only candy... I saw apples being offered and accepted. It was sure fun watching the smiles on many faces, children and guardians alike. Way to go Hy-Vee!!

Went to Batteries Plus. They sure did a good job finding my car key battery and putting it in for me. Although it was not the problem I was having with my car, I wished it would had been. The two gentleman were so friendly, helpful and all around nice !!!!

Is ok just business and one restaurant

Old Town is an old fashioned "strip mall" with an indoor corridor. This particular Batteries Plus is excellent, they always get top marks for great employees who can solve almost any geeky problem. The Hungry Hobo has great sandwiches, baked potatoes, and salads. Hi-Ho Mongolian Grill is a small family chain that does great wok food.

Stopped by HiHo Mongolian Grill for lunch. Food was good, soda machine was out of order. Like many places, prices are higher than our last visit.

Was looking for a washer/dryer set but had no gas dryers and no info on when they would get one in. Told us Aarons was bought out, will be changing their name, and had no idea who the new suppliers of their products were going to be. Bad timing to be doing all this around the holidays. Need to have a meeting with their employees and give them more info so they can at least give potential buyers enough info to at least want to come back after the transfer of ownership. I felt really sorry for the sales people. They are trying to sell items that they have no idea if it is even going to exsist after the transfer of ownership. I decided not to deal with the unknowing and just went and purchased a new set of waher/dryer.
