My experience was amazing! A friend recommended me Old Vic and I couldn’t have had a best place to start my vacation! They helped me even before I arrive and I could plan the transfer from de airport and the tours with peacefully. Their property is beautiful! The room was excellent, very comfortable and made me feel at home. I could wake up hearing the birds. I booked the tours with Dave and had the best experiences. He is fun, very friendly and experienced guide. In Eswatini he found us a great restaurant and At Kruger he could find the best spots to observe the animals. Definitely I will recommend for everybody to stay here with them!

Loved this place! Felt so cozy and homey. Lots of open spaces and common areas, there’s also a pool where guests can cool off. Kitchen facilities were right at the dorm room which was so convenient. There’s a stove, microwave, and fridge that guests could use. The location is great too. Sure, it’s not at the town center but it’s in a safe, quiet residential area. If you need food, there’s a SPAR just 20 minutes away on foot, as well as a couple of restaurants. The staff could help you order food for delivery too. If you need to go to the town center, it’s easy to book a cab from here via WhatsApp. ||It’s easy to book tours. Dave helped me book the perfect tour and found a group I could join to bring down expenses cause i was traveling solo. The staff were great! They were all friendly and helpful. Dave and Bella were the perfect hosts, made me feel right at home! Wish i could have stayed longer! It’s the perfect place to unwind for a couple of days!||Have to mention a few minor gripes. WiFi was weak and spotty at times at the dorm room i was at. Not a problem in the common areas though. Also there are only a few electrical outlets in the dorm room. Wasn’t a problem when i was there, but it could be a problem if the dorm is full. A couple of power strips would easily solve this. But yeah, these are just minor gripes. I’d definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Nelspruit!

I arrived late and was welcomed by Dave and Moses, who assisted in carrying my heavy bag to my room. The rooms are lovely and spacious, and the bathrooms were clean and neat. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again.

This place is fantastic! Every single person who works here is so incredibly kind and helpful and went above and beyond to assist me: from giving me recommendations and useful information, to arranging transportation, to lending me a phone when mine died, and many small steps of service inbetween. And Dave is also a hilarious and knowledgeable tour guide! I had a great time on my Kruger combo and Swaziland tours. About my room: I stayed in the 6 bed dorm and it was comfortable - there was even a basic kitchen in the room. The Inn is located a bit far from the center, but it's easy enough to get a ride. Best of all, there's three super friendly cats and an adorable little dog. Overall: great service, comfortable rooms, fair prices. I would 100% recommend!

We had the privilege of staying at Old Vic Travellers inn. We were greeted with a smile and warmth even though our check in was very late. The hosts are very friendly and inviting. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. The location is beautiful. Best of both worlds, close to town but when you step onto the property you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere surrounded by nature. Thank you for the amazing stay.

Very bad from the time we entered the NARROW gate to the obstacle course to reach reception. The gent that attempted to assist us could hardly speak english, the bar only had castle light beer available although the website claims there is a FULLY LICENSED BAR. There was no food available, the route towards the back overlooking the swimming pool had a HUGE step to negotiate with no handrail support. I definitely think this place should be reported to the advertising authorities and the online booking agencies.

My stay at Old Vic was fantastic, the staff is friendly, helpful and kind. They offer free tea and coffee. It's located in a calm area. ||I decide to book a day excursion to Kruger Park with Crazy Dave and it was a awesome experience. Thanks for everything!||

What a fantastic place, a true home away from home and amazing value for money. From the moment I arrived quite late at night, I was taken care of by the wonderful staff. Everybody here is helpful, kind and easy going. The ladies working here even patiently helped me order dinner online, which was quite a long process! I loved the quiet location of the guesthouse, next to a small mountain and away from the bustle of the city centre (but only a few minutes away by car if you need to go there). I had a really spacious room in a quiet corner of the house; there are many other rooms set around a peaceful garden. The owner/manager Bella efficiently arranged for me a last minute day trip around the area with a resident expert guide, Damian, who is an encyclopaedia of knowledge on plants, animals and local history and geography. I thoroughly enjoyed the day. I would certainly love to return here one day to see more of the region and to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Old Vic. PS- I also did a wonderful 2-day tour with Bella's husband Dave through their company Kruger Flexi Tours, and I wrote a separate review of that.
