Old Young's Distillery

Great experience with Tate! Really enjoyed taking about the drinks, how they were made and going into dept about the drinks, company, area and WA as well as other states. Would definitely recommend a visit and your going to have a great experience if Tate is your server!

While touring WA, we enjoyed the day visiting different places in the Swan Valley and it ended on a good note, after visiting Old Young’s Distillery. We were warmly welcomed by Mikayla, who gave us insight into the history and processes of the distillery. Mikayla’s pairings for both Gin and Vodka were perfect, her humor made the experience most enjoyable. Thank you Mikayla and Old Young’s we will enjoy our Old Young Gin and Vodka. Best tasting experience here!! The four of us walked in on a busy day just before Xmas and the tasting area was full. The friendly staff decided that they would take us into a private room and we had a private tasting session with the full offering of their delicious spirits. Chloe looked after us like a VIP host and treated us to all our favourite drams. Honestly - could not rate this place high enough. Well done James on the finest of tipples and you’re lucky to have Chloe looking after your cellar. We love this place and we’ll be back!

Why do I keep returning to the Old Young's Distillery? It's the pavlova vodka of course!!! This is the best vodka in the world (well most probably) and I have just bought the Gingin gin which is actually made in Gingin, so locally made which is always a bonus. The staff as ever are very welcoming and very informed of what the sell. They give great advice on what mixers to pair with the different spirits which I believe is on their website. There is a private party tasting area of you see on a tour. Parking is a bit limited on busy days so try and avoid peak hours if you can. If you are a fan of gin and vodka, do not drive past.

We've driven past this place so many times and finally had some free time to check it out. We were greeted by two ladies who showed us into an air conditioned room for a tasting. Our host Kay was amazing!!! Her/Their knowledge on the history of Old Young's and all the vodka and gins was astounding. Loved every minute of the tasting experience. Definitely one of the best experiences.

Had CJ helping us on Wednesday 7th - they were excellent! Totally knew exactly how to work her space and get people involved. Never pushy but also opened us into new booze! Had fun in her space, would be hoping to return! Only small strange note - a couple walked in and joined. One later claimed to be a manage at the venue which was odd as they never introduced themselves. They made a few situations awkward by interjecting then made it uncomfortable by partaking in the full testing them driving away. Only thing that would put us off returning.

LOVE the gin/vodka tasting experience. We absolutely loved the character of the hosts and the knowledge of the establishment-very entertaining! And as always, we can't pass on the Pavlova vodka. We went and had lunch prior to the tasting, all of the flavors of the dishes were phenomenal. We had the sourdough, croquettes, emu pastrami, udon noodles, fries and the snapper between us. Unfortunately, the snapper was a substantially smaller size than we expected hence only 4 stars overall;it was a very small fish compared to any other snapper dishes we've had before. All staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the environment was cozy and welcoming.

Had an amazing lunch today. The sourdough was so light, the crust perfect. All the meals that followed were fantastic. Finished the visit off with a gin and vodka tasting with CJ. She is an asset to the business. It was an enjoyable tour and we look forward to enjoying the Pavlova Vodka back home in QLD.

Old Young's Kitchen only open 3 weeks but WOW this place is just awesome. A must visit.
