Olde Colony Bakery

I cannot recommend this place enough, they have the best cookies in the city. I don't live in Charleston any more, but I always have a stock of their cookies around. They are perfect and I love every one I try.

Found your Pecan cookies at the Charleston Market this summer when we were on vacation. These are my new favorite! I can't eat dairy so it's a rare cookie that works for me. Yours is amazing and my family fully agrees. We ordered 2 pounds for shipping back home. Yum.

We needed to find something to represent the Charleston area when we headed to the World Championships in Texas and Olde Colony stepped up and gave us the benne wafers immediately when we asked. I am originally from Charleston and LOVE the Benne Wafers made at this bakery. I have been eating them since I was a little girl. Unable to visit, I ordered a pound of the wafers and paid for expeditied shipping to get them as soon as possible (sooo good)! The delivery guy left the package out where animals got to it before I got home from work (life in the woods) and did not really offer to fix the problem. I called the bakery and they IMMEDIATELY overnighted me replacement cookies. I was THRILLED to receive such amazing service on top of the already delicious baked goods!!

The ginger cookies are the best! I have them shipped to Massachusetts and they do an amazing job wrapping and protecting them from breakage. Nothing better with a cup of tea! Yum! Thank you Olde Colony Bakery!!! Keep on baking!
