Oldenburg Vineyards

An absolute charm. Not just the wine - we had the vertical Syrah tasting (as we are very enthousiastic over the 2014 bottles we have at home - the view and location as well. The mountain range gives you the feeling of looking at a full private closen estate. So the mountain serves the wine and the experience. Staff is very nice and chatty with tons of knowledgable intel.

A small(er) winery but a Must See! JP was a wonderful and very knowledgeable wine guide for our visit. The full wall of windows that open up to the vineyards and mountains is breathtaking. Nice cheese plate to accompany our tasting. It was easy to spend two hours in this serene setting tasting some wonderful wines.

We had the most amazing time ! From an excellent little platter to the best wines we had in a long time. Not to mention the excellent view. But the service takes the cake. We had the privilege of having the incredible Freda surprise us with some amazing wines and wisdom. Thank you for an unforgettable tasting, we can’t stop talking about it !!

What an amazing array of wine and such a brilliant sommelier. Frieda you made our day. It is truly an experience to taste wines in such a magnificent setting. The wines are really top notch and drinking from such fine glassware truly took the experience to the next level.

We were so impressed by the experience here. Our sommelier, Jean Pierre was very knowledgeable and friendly, the wines were great, nice cheese and crackers to complement the wine. Oh and the views and setting were amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anybody visiting the area and wants to do wine tasting!

The scenery, the staff and the wines made this tasting experience outstanding. A fully enjoyable experience made all the better by our senior sommelier, Thabo, whose breadth and depth of knowledge was clear, but he also made their wines so accessible! We highly recommend!

Best vineyard I’ve been to so far. Not only the best view but also the staff is exceptional. Were welcomed even without a reservation. Wines are delicious, accompanied by a detailed story about the vineyard and what makes them special. Would 100% return again just to experience the lovely relaxed vibe and atmosphere again. 100% recommend!

Wow. Incredible. Unreal. Honestly the best tasting experience my wife and I have ever experienced and we've been to over 100 wineries/tasting rooms all over the world. This is head and shoulders above the rest. Why? Every wine we tasted was exceptional. Like seriously bloody good. The setting was like Freda (our incredible sommelier) put it, a green screen, the view is that good, it's looks fake. Then on to Freda, wow, simply the best! We were blown away by her passion, her knowledge and her service. We arrived as clients and after 3 and half hours, we left as friends. This is truly a special place! We highly recommend! We love your work Freda, we hope to see you in New Zealand one day!
