Olepangi Farm is a truly special place. A labour of love it offers an oasis of calm and good taste - relaxing, comfortable and with so much to do from classic safari to horse riding to wandering through the beautiful gardens. Or just sit by the delightful pool and chill. |The individual cottage rooms are super comfortable and strike exactly the right balance between privacy and convenience. |But undoubtedly the absolute highlight is the wonderful team working hard to make every aspect of your stay perfect. |It honestly feels more like being an honoured house guest. |A wonderful place !!!

Thank you so much for a fantastic 3 days here. After a busy week exploring Kenya we were delighted to arrive at the farm for some much needed R & R. The farm is located within the most beautiful setting in Laikipia. The staff were all absolutely incredible and couldn’t have done more for us during our stay. It really did feel like a ‘home away from home’ and we were made to feel so welcome. The cottages are set within the wilderness and beautifully designed. We did daily yoga with Pauline who was fantastic and ate the most insanely fresh food all home grown on the farm and so tasty. Some of the best salads we’ve ever tasted! We highly recommend staying here and highly recommend doing the walk with Mr Karoke to learn and understand more about local life. Thank you again we will definitely be back!

In short I would definitely go as far as saying we have found our “happy place”. We went to Olepangi farm as part of our honeymoon and while we were already intrigued by the pictures we saw upfront, this stay just over delivered in all aspects. When we arrived we had the warmest welcome by Denzel, Kelvin and Ruth who gave us flowers from the garden and a handmade flower necklace for our wedding, they brought us to our room which was not only designed beautifully but they also decorated it lovely. Throughout our stay we were mesmerised by the incredible landscape work and gardens (kudos to Sami and his team for their great job), which attract the most beautiful birds. We were deeply impressed by the farming work that is being done here. Not to forget the unique architecture and design. All of the rooms have their own unique features and incredibly well matched colour palettes. Finally, they serve really good, well spiced food, whereof the majority is even coming from the farm itself. Every person working here was so exceedingly kind and friendly in their own way. People are not afraid to share their unique stories and personalities all while being extremely professional. Whether it’s Edwin working at the bar, who is so knowledgeable about birds, or whether it’s Ewoi and Kelvin who are just really eager about football, or Naomi who is just so caring and remembers all the small details. This place is really outstanding and I can only recommend it to everybody caring to have a luxurious stay in a magnificent natural environment with extraordinary company. Thank you so much for having us!

An ideal location, you feel as if you are in some sort of film set! It is so peaceful, the lodges are so lovely and the people are interesting and kind. Food was great, Excellent for exploring the conservancy the next day. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

Wonderful and calm atmosphere for our honeymoon. We enjoyed our stay in Olepangi Farm. We got treated every day with a different adventure to embark on. The food was fresh and some grown on site. The hospitality we received was excellent, very friendly, and they were always happy to help us. The view from up above to the opposite natural reserve was stunning, even seeing some animals now and then. Our massage with Stella was exceptional and added to our relaxation after long days of safari! Highly recommend!

My family and I decided to return to spend our Christmas holidays at Olepangi Farm because in January we had stayed and had a wonderful time. We were not disappointed. We had a wonderful time. Pampered and made to feel at home. We would like to thank all staff who were fantastic. We will not hesitate to come back. Thank you.

Service: 7.5/10|The staff are the loveliest. Great communication, they |make sure you are taken care of to their best abilities. I didn’t give a 10 for one important reason: there was a group of American ladies staying there at the same time. Lovely, lovely women. But, they sang at the top of their lungs during one meal time, had a party where we could hear the lyrics from bed past 10pm on night. It generally felt like we had invaded THEIR personal home. The staff just went along with it. This isn’t a bad thing, just be aware that your vacation is not yours when you arrive, it’s everyone’s. You’re now one big squad. A nightmare for someone looking for some quiet 🫠||Food: 8/10|Fresh and tasty. Probably my favorite part. I gave this a 7 because while I understand the need to have systems in place for efficiency and to avoid food waste, having to eat ONLY what’s available only rather than what you want, wherever you want, is something you need to be aware is not possible. And if you need a snack after dinner, tough luck, no room service. low-key boarding school vibes. ||Rooms: 3/10|Now, this one is our fault for not knowing that the Round Hut had an open plan bathroom. And when I mean open, the toilet is just behind your bed’s headboard, no door. Bathtub is right there next to your bed. Now, this may be cute to some, just not for us. Again, our fault for not checking. There are no space heaters or a fireplace in all the rooms, so if it’s cold, cuddle up. Would also call ahead if it has been raining to ensure the water from the taps are not affected/brown as we experienced, and it affected our showers for majority of our time there. ||Location: 10/10|The pictures don’t do any justice. Beautiful and serene||Dogs: 20/10|The cutest 🐶

This is truly a little slice of heaven! A beautiful and inspiring place. Elizabeth, Kier, Naomi, Edward and all of the Olepangi family are so welcoming and kind. You feel like you have been to stay with friends - it really is quite different to a usual “hotel” experience.||We stayed for four nights after a 3-day safari at Ole Pejeta. You can safari from Olepangi but we enjoyed the change of scenery and doing something a bit different. The location, the surroundings, the buildings and gardens are stunning. You quickly fall into the rhythm of the farm and you can do as much or as little as you want. We milked cows, went on a community walk with Mr Kariuki (a very thoughtful and interesting person - we so enjoyed talking to him), some horse riding, young farmers for my daughter, bread making, croquet and swimming. We also loved cuddling the four dogs!||We spent a long time learning about the organic kitchen garden that Elizabeth, Kelvin and the amazing gardening team have been building and establishing. It is impossible not to be inspired by the quality of the produce and the ambition to experiment and try new things. The food was incredible - delicious and so alive with flavours and colours from the farm.||A huge thank you to everyone at Olepangi. Everyone we met was so kind and a delight to speak to. Nothing was too much trouble! We will be back!
