Olerai House

A lost and refound paradise! Olerai House is pure magic -peaceful, beautifully designed and surrounded by nature. The gardens are lush and full of life, and the whole place feels like a well-kept secret. The staff are kind and attentive, and the food is always fresh, local, and delicious. Can’t wait to return!

Great getaway in Nairobi. Gentle animals like giraffes, warthog and antelope room free. Rooms are beautifully decorated and has a warm feel to it. Only 6 rooms on the resort. Food and service were superb. Staff is very friendly and speaks English. Had a bonfire after dinner and got to see Hippos come out of the water. A guide is there constantly to protect visitors in case of animal attacks.

This is a remarkable place, gives you peace of mind. The service is world class, the food is impeccable. The room is cozy and beautiful, not to mention the incomparable experience of being so close to so many diverse wild species... If the prices were not so high, I would definitely visit often.

We regret 2 things in that place — that we spent there only 1 night and that we had a chance to eat there only one dinner :) Food was 1st class, chef is fantastic!!! Rooms are beautiful, very clean, comfortable and nice. Someone, who designed that place, had a fantastic idea :)

My little family and I spent a few days at Olerai house and had a magical time! The staff is extremely welcoming and professional. The food is delicious and it’s extremely child-friendly! It’s a hidden gem where our family plan to spend lots of time in the future!

Excellent location, amazing service, unbelievable animal sightings. The plumbing leaves a lot to be desired, and the prices aren't the most competitive.

A very nice picturesque and quaint place right next to Lake Naivasha. A variety of accommodation options ranging from self catering to full board options. The rooms and the entire sanctuary is eco friendly with a variety of wild animals. Service is really great and the ambience worth it. At the same time affordable. I have stayed at the studio and the full board options and all of those stays have been memorable. A place you want to consider for a quiet, peaceful and calm weekend. The road has been renovated hence the place is accessible. Due to proximity to the lake, the mosquitoes are really nasty and do bite. Make sure to apply the repellant and always reapply. The establishment very keen to allergies when preparing food
