The camp sits high on a ridge overlooking the Olifants River, and the views are absolutely breathtaking, we loved every moment of it. We stayed in a bungalow with an old, very noisy air conditioner that sounded like it was on its last leg, but it still did the job. The location was convenient, right next to the communal kitchen, which made it easy to get our coffee early in the morning. That said, the place is definitely in need of some renovations, as the facilities are showing their age.

This is a great location as it has amazing views over the Olifant's river. But the basic chalet's didn't even offer a kettle for making coffee in the mornings. Great to have a fridge available. Not great that I can't prepare any food since there is no kitchenette. Some of the bigger chalets do have kitchenettes. And the family lodgings also have more to offer, but I find a kettle the very least that should be offered.

A really great stay, but only for two nights. We battled a little with the humidity as there is no electricity, but the rondawels are well maintained and beautifully serviced. The kitchen is basic but functional and the bathrooms are very clean. The hostess, is AMAZING as is the view from the chalets closet to the fence. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience at Olifants Rest Camp — the views over the river were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. The camp was peaceful, well-maintained, and offered a real sense of being in the wild without sacrificing comfort. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole stay even more enjoyable.

We checked in here for Balule. It's a very busy camp - Skukuza of the north. Beautiful view from the restaurant, and the food was great.

The View is wonderful - although too high up to make out any details. The food in the restaurant was fair - even though the beautiful view makes you forget everything else. |The cabins are not only aged and in need of maintenance, they also lack basic amenities as you would find in all other SANPARK accommodation I have thus far visited, like a kettle to at least boil some water for tea in the morning. |This ended up being too basic.

It was now my 15 time I was guest in this Rest Camp. It is my favored Camp in the Kruger National Park. The view over the Olifants River is amazing. The people have been very helpful. I will Return again for sure.|The only thing what is Not so nice, the bungalows have some maintenance necessary. Thank you for the very nice time.

Best of the rest Camps we stayed in. Reasonably clean. Needs updating. Good views.
