I had a great experience at Olifants Rest Camp — the views over the river were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. The camp was peaceful, well-maintained, and offered a real sense of being in the wild without sacrificing comfort. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole stay even more enjoyable.

It was now my 15 time I was guest in this Rest Camp. It is my favored Camp in the Kruger National Park. The view over the Olifants River is amazing. The people have been very helpful. I will Return again for sure.|The only thing what is Not so nice, the bungalows have some maintenance necessary. Thank you for the very nice time.

We stayed in a 4 bed cottage with a very weird design. Massive lounge area and the tiniest bedrooms. But the views from the viewpoint are amazing - however that area needs a revamp as it's look very worn.

Olifants has panoramic views from most of the permimeter bungalows. The bungalow was serviced daily with fresh towels and soap. Even our braai grid was cleaned. The kitchen is equipped with the basics. The kettle was replaced promptly when it stopped working. Note that the braai area is situated awkwardly in front of the parking spot. No working surface close to the braai to place utensils or meat. I suggest bringing a camp table along for this, as well as comfy camping chairs. A highlight of our Elephant Camp visit was the bush walk with Abel and Promise. Both guides were a cut above with their knowledge of fauna, flora and history of the park. Abel's knowledge of local bird life was impressive. He was able to mimic calls and pointed out a great variety of birds. The restaurant serves very tasty meals. They ran out of ice cream during our visit, but apart from that, we were very happy with the service and the meals.

Hands down the best rest camp in Kruger. Amazing views from all over camp - get yourself a river view one if you can as there’s nothing like watching the sun set over the river there. Restaurant is solid too with a beautiful view! Game drives are worth a go! We loved the night drive! The whole camp is up on a hill so it’s a different vibe to the other camps around!

Was the worst camp we stayed at in Kruger National Park. Door lock issues, leaking shower head (which they did fix pretty quickly) as well as water leaking though shower glass wall into the bathroom area. A few insects inside the room with evidence of rodents. A little tight room. There is no room to stretch out for sure. We survived. It was for only one night.

We enjoyed our stay. The only disappointment was that we had booked a river front only to be told on arrival that they had changed the Codes used on the booking system and that our one was now not a River front bungalow. As there were none available and we were there for only one night we had to accept second best.

The View is wonderful - although too high up to make out any details. The food in the restaurant was fair - even though the beautiful view makes you forget everything else. |The cabins are not only aged and in need of maintenance, they also lack basic amenities as you would find in all other SANPARK accommodation I have thus far visited, like a kettle to at least boil some water for tea in the morning. |This ended up being too basic.
