The tour was great! Took 15-20 mins. I was 7 months pregnant and it was safe to go in and walk around. I just got tired pretty quickly due to the amount of stairs, but it was safe and warm. I had a pretty good experience. We also had pur toddler too. The guide gave pretty good info. We looved it.

Very nice experience that lasts 30 minutes. The ticket at 5euro is really cheap. The guide explains everything in Greek and English and also has good knowledge about the history of the place and is ready to answer any questions. There are not many steps fortunately on the way back and the atmosphere is not so humid, at least now in September. It would be recommended to add some lights at some low obstacles, in order to avoid any accidents.

A very interesting place, one of the highlights of Chios. Taking out one star as there is lack of souvenirs to be purchased; even a postal card would do! Also the lighting in the cave could had been better, even if we take into consideration the preservation debate. Overall certainly worth a visit!

We waited about 20 minutes because he went down as a team, but it was worth it. There is also a parking space in front of it. Our guide was a very sweet lady and while she explained it to us in English, she also told the other family in Greek. We liked it very much. It was very special to go down 55 metres and see this beautiful environment. The entrance fee of 5 euros is also very affordable. Especially if you want to go to the Agia Dynamia Beach, I recommend you to stop by this cave on your way.

Pros: Amazing cave with light showing in from the top, providing great depth of effect. The formation of the rocks is quite stunning. Cons: Bought the ticket, which was 5 euros seemed steep for the amount of time we had to wait. Over 30 minutes while being one of two groups there. No history and details provided about the cave. Lack of lighting was concerning as well, and not everybody got to see the deepest part of the cave.

If you're not klostrophobic, don't miss to go there. It is really fantastic to be there. The guide was funny and explain everything sympathetically with funny jokes. The cave is a mystery from the mother nature and it is assumed that upto 5 million years been passed to form this cave.

Nice experience going down about 40 meters into the ground. Pretty cool to see the stalactites and stalagmites. Main lights were not working making it difficult to see everything. Personnel informed me that the authorities know but are negligent maintaining those lights.
