A stunning location and beautiful rooms with balconies and views. All meals were fantastic, worthy of Mitchelin rating. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon at the same time as a wedding party so incredibly busy. But the hospitality staff found a table and took our order. The wedding celebrations were in separate buildings, so it was nice to watch the fun from a distance without being inconvenienced. Friendly staff We would go out of our way to stay there again.

This hotel made out holiday. The rooms are a little tired but comfortable and we had a fabulous view over the pool and sea. ||There was plenty of choice for breakfast, but it was the same every day. Good quality food. There is a cheerful bar where you can get Spanish type snacks and their G and T was bowl over strong. (6 Euros)||It has a pretty garden overlooking the sea and while we were there they had 4 weddings in three days! However, they did not disturb us, in fact it was great to look at the guests while having a glass of wine above. ||As the Spanish (and the hotel and resort are very Spanish) do not drink much tea they do not provide a kettle and tea and coffee in the rooms. I kicked myself as I could easily have brought the travel kettle from home.||It's a smashing place - you do have to wade a river to get to the beach, but if that is not for you there is a road that takes about 15 mins to walk. ||Recommended.

We were part of a group of 28 people and were very happy with the week we spent at the hotel. The third floor room with balcony overlooking the sea and river was very comfortable and clean with a safe as well. The dining room was large and airy and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and free wine every evening. The staff were amazing and worked very hard. The beach at the hotel when the tide went out was challenging, you would need a walking pole to help you across the river if you are at all unsteady!! Position of hotel unbeatable, we would go back definitely,

Lovely hotel and restaurant. Great location. Restaurant and breakfast staff could have been friendlier.

We stayed here with Newmarket holidays for one week. The room was comfortable but a little tired. We could not fault the food in the restaurant either breakfast or dinner, good quality and plentiful. Prices in the bar were very reasonable for a hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.

Travelled here with Newmarket holidays, who rate this hotel as four star. The hotel grounds were lovely and the hotel itself was very nice, however the food was awful. We did not enjoy one meal while we stayed here and our thoughts were shared by the majority of the people. Very limited choice of food and what there was did not live up to its description and was most unappetizing. This is a great shame as the hotel is in lovely surroundings but definitely not four star in the food departmenr.
