The Best Food In The region I com Hire For 15 Years And it Has Never disapointed me and my familie

Exceedingly well-prepared food with good service. This is most certainly a good cut above the normal restaurant in the Novara province, with a somewhat unusual menu, although unmistakably Italian of this region. Although not inexpensive, the quality and skill of preparation make this an excellent value. Although there are numerous restaurants with outdoor seating and lovely views close by, the excellence of the offerings here make it a better choice than those nearby with their views. One can always take an after dinner stroll to admire the lakeside views, after all.

Just had lunch in this place, all i can say try not eat here when you are nearby. Waited 30minutes for 2 risotto with bufala which it was almost not present in the plate. Ordered 2 glasses of wine which never arrived. Prices are high compared to the service and quality of food. ( the restaurant wasn’t busy at all so no excuse ).

What a gem! Stopped with a travel companion after looking at the interesting menu and had a fabulous meal. The staff is quite friendly, offered gratis aperitivo and small sweet after a delicious meal. I had an excellent plate of tuna ( moist and tender) with Napa cabbage and a yummy sauce. A short walk from the center of town- highly recommend.

Rejoying surprise: fine food, good wines and original menu at very low prices. The welcoming is warm and I could have a real vegetarian plate not the usual and disappointing choices of so-called « vegetarian-friendly » places.

In Orta San Giulio is a small village, but you can enjoy exceptional things there. That's why this place is so expensive. There are a lot of restaurants with average meals and high prices. But not the Olina, because it gives you fresh and delicious meals for average prices. You can feel here, that they really love food, and they know how to make simple, but amazing italian meals.

Not being hyperbolic - the worst restaurant meal I can remember ever having and left feeling nauseous. Everything was beige, the odd shade of brown. How they can make porcini tagliatelle so gelatinous and bland I really do not know

Great food, special dishes, the price is perfect for this level of quality. Try the lamb and you will not be dissapointed. Will visit again when in Italy this summer!

Quirky and fun decor with unusual retro-like touches. I had the pumpkin cream pasta dish that was out of this world! Everything homemade, authentic and incredibly delicious. The wait staff worked really hard to make sure our every need was met and were extremely courteous and professional! The small town was darling by day and night....a wonderful experience!

Wow. What a find. Not your usual Italian restaurant. Creative. Lovely. Tasty. Started with duck breast in berry sauce. Great. I had tortellini with lemon ricotta. Fantastic. Husband had char and was very impressed. We shared a chocolate mouse dessert that was excellent. I'd definitely recommend this for a creative and wonderful meal.

My wife and I are visiting from America on our honeymoon, that also happens to coincide with my birthday, so we wanted to celebrate both events with a nice traditional Italian meal. It was amazing!! From the moment we sat down our waitress was very patient with our broken Italian and was SO sweet! We had a bottle of the house rosso vino, which was very good. I had the octopus to start and the rabbit as my Prima Platte both fantastic. My wife had the Trout w/ purple carrot (which she said was the best Fish of her life) followed by the quail ravioli w/ truffles and artichokes. We ended the meal with a couple of limoncello and the best mouse dessert of our lives!! I don't even know what it was, we just went by our servers recommendation. If you ever find yourself in Orta San Giulio you owe it to yourself to try this ristorante!!
