We had a great experience at Olive Garden in Methuen. Our waiter, Josh, was incredibly kind, polite, and worked fast while still being attentive, which made our visit even better. The food was good, and everything came out on time. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming—overall a really enjoyable meal. Would definitely come back!

Excellent customer service! I called to order several sides of Chicken Fritta over the phone and they fulfilled the order even though it was an odd request. Great quality and nice portion sizes for affordable prices. I will definitely come back here when I visit one of my business associates again.

Wow!! We always enjoy Olive Garden and my mom is gluten free and they find great ways to accommodate her when we go. But this time?! We got the best server in Jake!! He had us smiling and laughing and truly just enjoying the whole experience. If you go to this location and want to have a great experience then ask for Jake!

Took my daughter for her Birthday 🎉....it was a wonderful time. Great customer service. They gave her a free dessert. And sang to her. It was an awesome time and it wasn't crowded or to busy. And we could talk without yelling at each other. We have not gone in a very long time. Food was amazing as well. Just delicious 😋

On Saturday, February 14, I visited the Olive Garden in Methuen, MA with a coworker, and unfortunately it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. From the moment we arrived, we did not receive any kind of greeting. After we ordered, we were not offered bread, soup, or salad—something that is supposed to be standard at Olive Garden. I had to remind the server, and even then, he showed no interest in providing better service. The most serious issue was that my meal arrived with the meat completely raw. I spent the rest of the night and the following day worried about the possible consequences of having tasted it. I reported it to the server, and then the manager came over, took the plate, and decided not to charge for it, which I appreciated, but the experience was already extremely disappointing. My coworker had already mentioned that several of her colleagues do not recommend this location due to similar situations, and now I understand why. Unfortunately, this Olive Garden is not offering safe or quality service. I truly hope they take serious steps to improve

This one in particular is either a hit or a miss. And for the most part its the ladder. My partner and I have gotten sick from this location many times, the plates and utensils are more times than not dirty. I love olive garden, and this is the closest one to me. But this one is hard to return to, we again got sick. Perhaps next time then

Granted it was Saturday evening, and Valentine's day, but they were slamming and the kitchen was having a hard time maintaining the turnover ... Hot salad plates, long wait times on bread/salad, no roms in the salad. Thankfully the server (Jasmine) was focused, pleasant and attentive. Expo ran food out to us and auctioned it all off (ugh). He platted the table and left; no pre-bus, no inquiry on refills, skipped the cheese on food... Brought it out, but never offered. Had it not been for the pleasant server, I would have been more displeased. Overall a fairly nice evening. Food was same as every OG... Weather that's good or bad. Kitchen needs help though.

Great option to dine in. The space has an excellent environment. The restaurant is great, the people working here are really nice and kind. This would be a really good option when you are looking for good pasta. The food is really good. Appetizers and dinner were tasty. They have a lot of good drinks to choose from, lots of options, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. The restaurant is Kids and family friendly. I Would definitely recommend it for a family dinner.

Olive Garden brings back such fun memories for me from childhood. I've always liked the bottomless salad and breadsticks. While I can't say this "Italian Food" is of the greatest quality, the salad and breadsticks continues to be delicious. We had 4 adults and 4 kids (elementary school aged) in our group. The kids ate well and they nicely sat us as a bigger table in a semi-private room, which was really nice. One of the adults got the Tour of Italy special and he finished the whole plate! Overall, we enjoyed this meal and we stopped by after a Christmas lights drive through. It was a great, festive way to enjoy the holidays.

Typical Olive Garden style Italian looking restaurant casual attire. Service was good very busy though he was doing good. Food wasn't great but it was okay for being corporate sausages could have been better the soup was different for chicken the make your own pasta bowl with chicken and meat sauce was ok the bread sticks were good plenty of salad overall it wasn't bad.

I was chocking and they just watched me and the food was cold and just disgusting I hate the smell it smelled like undercooked food

The food was disgusting as all was made of frozen food, no fresh ingredients AT ALL. They somehow come to your table and, oh gives us a good review? Where's the red pepper in here tell me???? Don't tell me you forgot to put it in. You have time to tell people to give a review but don't have time to put the pepper that you should have??

The service we had was phenomenal,our waiter was attentive.The food was good,but the Chicken and Gnocchi soup wasn't the best-the chicken was dry and there was barely any Gnocchi.But our favorite part of dinner was most likely watching the manager drop a whole bowl of Marinara Sauce on an older gentleman.It was her first time in seventeen years of working at Olive Garden that she did that.Most likely coming back,not soon but we'll come back.

It was the first time that I tried Olive Garden and I enjoyed the food salad and the soup . For sure I would like to try it again

What's the point of having people come in to eat if you won't even serve them or open your mouth to say " hey someone will be with you shortly". We sat for 30 minutes with no bread sticks or simple water. Crazy thing is, they're not even busy lol.

I went to olive garden in Methuen Massachusetts today with my dad for dinner today the meal I had was terrible and came out before we finished our first course the waitress took her sweet as time with my drinks and was completely useless she did not even bother to ask me weather I wanted meat sauce or regular sauce when I asked for a box to take my food home she came out with my box and asked me weather I wanted to box my food or have her take my food away and throw it out which clearly means that she was not paying any attention to me on purpose the manager who is suppose to come out and ask how everything is going and never did and because of my experience there tonight I would not recommend anyone to eat there let alone me going back there because it is a waste of my time and money.

we came in on a friday night and were seated right away! it was our friend's birthday dinner. our server was fantastic (i don't remember her name). she had a very fun personality and checked on us regularly. she sang a happy birthday song for my friend as well with the rest of the staff! overall, food was great, service was amazing. would definitely come back to this location in the future!

Been to this Olive Garden twice in past two months , I honestly would never come here but my kids like the pizza and doughnuts. The first time my waitress didn't write anything on a piece of paper. Said she just remembered it. I said you sure you don't want to write it down? She refused, then brought me the wrong soup. My kids meals came out she brought my son the wrong thing. At that point I was like whatever he'll eat it. I didn't even want to wait The second time, different server, Nice but extremely slow. Didn't check back on us , had to ask for plates multiple times and boxes It stinks because the food is actually pretty good. They need more training or just smarter people in general. I blame management honestly. These people should t be servers!

The wait time was fine. Once seated, the service was unbelievably slow. The waitress was overwhelmed serving multiple tables. The manager came over to explain that the kitchen was short staffed. The food was okay, however because of the long wait, our party was unavailable to enjoy the meal and took it to go.

We had a large party and they seated us quickly in a family area. Great, attentive service from our server & drinks were kept full. The food was classic Olive Garden, fresh and delicious, with great sized portions. We were very pleased with the menu options, quality and pricing. This is a great place to feed a large family and not break the bank. Highly recommend!

I went to this Olive Garden last week and I was sat with a nice server who looked busy but she still did an okay job and wasn't upset until she forgot one of our dinners and I asked for the manager and she was so rude. The manager I talked to her name was Lucinda and she gave us such an attitude and didn't accommodate us at all. Very unsatisfied in the management and idk if she was new but she needs to be retrained on costumer service.

I haven't been to this Olive Garden in about a year, but I never think to look at reviews for a restaurant I am familiar with. My parents, my daughter and I sat down and ordered, everything was fine, until something started moving behind the curtain at our booth window. About a minute later, there was a thud on the booth next to my mom, I looked down, and a mouse was scurrying away under the booth seat. We all stood up kind of in shock, and I looked to see quite a bit of mouse poop on the windowsill behind the booth. We went to the hoststand to see if we could switch seats and notify them of what happened. They brought us to another booth which noticeably had more mouse poop on the seats. We pointed it out and they brought us to a third booth. We didn't see any mouse poop so we finished our meal and left. We noticed when the host spoke with the manager she did not seem surprised one bit but she didn't even check on us throughout our meal. They did credit us an appetizer, which was nice, however, I don't think I will be going back to this Olive Garden knowing they have a mouse problem!

Flavors were all okay, menu is still limited from quarantine times. The food was all we needed it to be, so that's good. Only constructive criticism i would like to share is, they need an exterminator, there were ants crawling in the moldings behind us and crawling onto us.

I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with sausage. The meal costs $20 plus $1.69 for each sausage and they brought 2. I got the soup which should be hot but it came on a cold plate so not hot. My Fettuccine Alfredo was left under the heat lamp for too long and either the Alfredo sauce was wayyyyy to thick or had started congealing from being ready for so long. My friend ordered the"make your own" for $12.00 but then she asked for sausage and now her plate was $15 plus . Add a soda and a lemonade and one dessert that we split and the meal came to $70. No it isn't worth it I am unsure if it was the server's first night. If it was he needs to step up his game and if it isn't he should find another job that he can work at a slower pace. All in all I have always loved Olive Garden but last night was not even close to being a decent meal.

l went there with my toddler baby girl. They give me a seat where the bar was.. So l asked them to move me to other side where the family places is. When l was seated most tables were empty. Unbelievable!!! The server asked me if l am paying with gift card and he asked to next table if they are paying cash or with card.. don't get me wrong l wear good and l am a good looking guybut l give him a good tip as well. Let me tell you kind is a gift that everyone can afford!!! As of today 12/08/23 between 1:30 pm- 3pm. l have been served. Thank you!!

Haven't been to the Olive Garden in a while because the food not good. We were given a $50 gift card, so we decided to go for lunch. We arrived at about 11:40, sat at the bar. No bartender. After about 10 minutes, the waitress covering the tables in the bar area went off to find the bartender. The bartender arrived wearing a parka. I asked if she was cold. She said she had been cleaning the walk-in refrigerator. Really? In middle of lunch service, they have the bartender cleaning the walk-in? My wife ordered the soup, salad and breadsticks. I ordered the fried calamari and the lunch portion of chicken parmesan. My wife's food arrived. The salad was good, the soup was good. The breadsticks were hard. My wife finished her soup and salad, and my food had not arrived. I asked what was going on. They were cleaning the fryer I was told. Again, during lunch service? The manager came out and apologized and said he would take the calamari off the bill. It finally arrived. Wasn't bad, but I've never seen calamari that was in 3/4" perfect circles, 1/2" long. The chicken parm was terrible. I don't believe they use a fresh chicken breast. It appears like they deep fry a frozen, breaded breast. Couldn't eat the spaghetti, the sauce was awful. As far as I'm concerned, the food quality hasn't changed. I definitely will never go to another Olive Garden.

The wait staff were amazing! Efficient, pleasant and prompt and personable. These people would get 5 stars, however.. the food drops their rating significantly down. I grew up in a Italian kitchen and this food they serve here is NOT Italian, it's like a person from over seas watched little Italy and tried to make their own Italian restaurant- and drastically failed! The salad didn't taste good, the dressing was.. off... the breadstick were soft and bland. Soup was not what it was suppose to be. The stuffed shells were liquid-y, Alfredo sauce shouldn't belong on stuffed shells. So.. thumbs up to the wait staff.. the food, not so much.

I dine at this Olive Garden at The Loop several times each year since it's convenient, the food is consistent, and the prices are reasonable. When it's very busy when I arrive solo, I will head to the bar and seat myself for prompt service. I usually order the Create Your Own Pasta Bowl ($10.99 plus tax), choose a pasta, choose a sauce, and add meats (for extra charge) and all meals come with unlimited salad or soup and breadsticks. I enjoy the Whole Grain Linguine with the Five Cheese Marinara Sauce and their family size salad with oil & vinegar on the side and hot salted breadsticks (I dip in the pasta sauce). I don't order dessert since most desserts here come frozen and thawed out. Recently, I took my Dad and Stepmom here for lunch on Veteran's Day since the Olive Garden offers free meals to Veterans on that day. My Dad, who is a Navy veteran, enjoyed a free Spaghetti with Meat Sauce dinner, while my Stepmom enjoyed Unlimited Soup, Salad, & Breadsticks ($7.99). Soft drinks and tea were extra. I ordered the Never Ending Pasta Bowl Special ($10.99), my favorite limited time special offered during the fall. I ate minimal salad and enjoyed 4 bowls of pasta including Linguine with Creamy Roasted Garlic, Cavatappi with Meat Sauce, Fetttucine with Creamy Mushroom, and Rigatoni with Five Cheese Marinara. I was so stuffed! The service was good, but a bit delayed since the place was very busy with other Veterans and their families also enjoying lunch here.

My kids and I went last month and the entree's were delicious - Shrimp and Chicken Carbonara, Chicken Parm and Pasta with Meat Sauce. Definitely worth the money!

I have been to this location many times before and have had a pleasant time. Last night my friends and I did not. Our server, Naomi G, gave abysmal service from start to finish. When we sat down, we immediately put in all of our orders--drinks, soups, entrees--in order to save some time so we could catch a movie later that night. We got our drinks more than 10 minutes after we ordered them, and that was okay. We were patient, and we waited. Despite all of our wait times for drinks and food and such, our waitress ignored us for truly 20-30 minutes after we got our entrees, waiting on surrounding tables and not checking up on us for everything. She didn't check on us once. My friend had to flag her down in order for us to get some refills on our sodas and waters. She said she would and didn't come at our table for another 10 minutes, and she didn't have any refills, just a pitcher of water. My other friend ordered a peach bellini and never received it. We could have put much of this aside, but when we asked for our bills, and our server claimed a policy stating because of we split our bill more than 4 times (there were 5 of us) an automatic gratuity would be applied. We were unaware of that policy when we requested the separate bills at the start of our dinner. We would have gladly paid 20% or MORE in gratuity had our service been satisfactory, but it was not. In addition, she took the tablet/kiosk that customers typically pay on and swiped all our cards without giving us the option to do it ourselves. She also did the surveys on the kiosks to give herself high ratings and good reviews. My friend at the end of the table saw her type in 5 stars on the survey, and that is unfair because she did not deserve it. Our server also asked us what dipping sauces we wanted for breadsticks, and she neglected to mention that those "dipping sauces" were $5 for a plate of marinara sauce. We assumed it came with our meals like the soups and salads. We were extremely disappointed in our experience here, and we really hope something is done about it. I have never written a review like this before, but our service was just that bad.

I hadn't had olive garden in a while so I figured I'd get takeout for my daughter's birthday. Man was that a BAD decision ESPECIALLY the alfredo...I was sick for 2 and 1/2 days..Alfredo sauce should not be congealed and the bacon didn't taste right..so no thanks

This Olive Garden is worse than the Nashua Olive Garden not only did they screw up my order but they burnt my scallops and shrimp in the seafood Alfredo. Worst experience ever and don't order curbside because they're gonna make you go in to get it anyway.

Everything was okay. Until the manager kept pressuring us to order right away. She kept coming by, asking a bunch of questions when we simply wanted to look over the menu..and made a couple slick rude comments that were unnecessary. Not sure if it was because they were very busy but we felt rushed. I haven't been to Olive Garden in years, but this goes to show I won't be coming back again.

Had a large group dinner for about 40 people. Service and food was timely and staff was excellent. Kudo's to Olive Garden in Methuen and their staff.

My daughter and I had not been here in a while so we thought we would go one night. We were seated right away but they put us next to a party of ten and there were plenty of seats, my fault for not saying anything. We got our food, not as good as I once remembered, and as I was eating the salad my daughter noticed a live big, black ant! I was so grossed out! I didn't want to eat anything after that. I told waitress and her attitude was," yeah, it can happen"! I was amazed at her nonchalant attitude. I asked to speak to a manager which took a while and even she was like, "Oh that can happen!" Seriously, that can happen, it was disgusting, a live bug in my salad after I had eaten some of it. She did take my meal off the bill but I couldn't believe no one was concerned about this. I did write to the company and I should known, same kind of attitude, basically oh well! We definitely would not ever go to an Olive Garden again! The sad thing is my daughter and I the week before had a bad experience at another restaurant. It seems no cares about the quality of food anymore!

Dont waste your money here. There are doing a very limited menu. Wait till the covid thing is over to eat here. Very disappoint with the menu.

Dirty I should have known it was poorly managed by the looks of the entrance. If you cant bother to wash the dirty windows of the entryway, I cant imagine whats going on in the kitchen. Im not talking just hand prints, they were filthy. This place needs a total overhaul.

Please note this review is for this location only! Others should take note! I stop in here on occasion for a quick lunch. I love that I can get a pasta dish with salad and breadsticks and not spend a fortune. This olive garden has the best fettuccine alfredo! I've had it at others and they're just not the same. It's so creamy and delicious! And it's consistently this way. I've decided to review today because my server Patrick was the best! Sometimes when you eat by yourself it seems people are rushed or not as attentive. Probably because they know they're only getting a couple dollars. Patrick did not make me feel that way at all! He was so friendly, kind, professional, and very attentive. I observed him to be this way with others as well. Kudos to this establishment for hiring such wonderful people! I've had the bartender Ashley as well who's also super nice. As I write this, There was a disgruntled women behind me who was upset because she had been waiting for a table. Once she was sitting, Patrick gave her the same excellent service he gave me and the manager came over to check on her. I could hear him speaking to her (his name was mark) and he had outstanding customer service as well. She complimented the manager on his waitstaff, saying they should train other restaurants! I would HIGHLY recommend this location of the Olive Garden!

Went to the new Olive Garden lat night, as I was burned out from cooking all weekend from Thanksgiving. It was 8:00pm on a Sunday night. The place was packed. At least a 40 minute wait. We got in at the bar. Ordered drinks and food. Drinks were good. Poured and measured to the drop. Service was good to just okay. Too many helping helps running into each other. The food. Ehh...very salty....the chicken parm had so much salt I nearly had a stroke. The breadsticks also came with a salt on them. The soup was salty too. The soup came out first and 3 minutes later the meal came out. Not good flow. Here is the low down. 2 meals , 3 drinks = $41. Not bad but the food needs to improve. The reality is that I rather go to Buno Panini in Salem or Lucciano's in Londonderry. It is better food, better priced, more food and it is not a chain and no waiting!

My father-in-law had a five person party here and they sat us all back at this huge table set for ten. Right off the bat the experience felt a little..off. Our server was so over the top. She started taking our orders before asking our drinks. The salad was brought out and no one had gotten drinks under we were finished. Our server told us they make the ginger ale in house which is why it was so slow to receive. Hmm, very odd. One person at our table just ordered soup as her meal as part of the soup salad combo, meanwhile everyone at the table got their entree while we were still waiting for one soup to arrive. It's a chain restaurant, so I get that the food comes out a little bland. At the end of our meal, we sat around for a couple to open presents while the mother-in-law paid for the meal. The server came back and kind of hinted that we needed to beat it. I get that your busy, but to rush us out of there on his birthday was frustrating to say the least.

I really like Olive Garden but the braised beef Bolognese that I ordered didn't match the picture in the menu. It was all sauce no meat !!!!! Where's the beef!!!! I went here today just because my daughters wanted their not so fresh bread! This is just so disgusting and they had already eaten some of it. Will not be eating from here again! Yuck!!

Attended a dinner party recently with about 30-40 people with accommodations in a large private room. Service excellent, staff spot on making sure all food and drinks were served. Had a variety of food and all was delicious.

I never had a bad experience here... except for last night. Sat down at the table at 7... we didn't get our food till almost 830!! we started off with a female waitress who was new. Then half hour later, a male waiter was going over our order. Apparently something happened to our waitress. Maybe she quit and walked out, I don't know. But apparently our order was never rung in from the prior wait staff. The waiter was very nice to us. Definitely not his fault... but whatever happened made our dining experience pretty bad. My poor toddler daughter was SO hungry. I can't believe this happened. I understand some places can be short staffed, but this should have NEVER happened! Not only was our food VERY late, they had NO lids for a child's cup. Also... they have no pizza. Only a child's version, which is very gross. Very unsure if I will ever go back.

I wish I could give this place a 0 star, this places is disgusting we were sat at a table that smelled like there was a dead rodent when we could t take the smell anymore we decided to look with our phone flash under the table and even though we didn't see anything dead we saw steel wool covering hole on both sides of the booth, we waited about 20-30 mins to get an appetizer and a drink and then we asked for the check and left, disgusting.

Went here today to celebrate my daughter job promotion and we were pleasantly surprised by the service and how good the food was. I am going to come over here again.

Went to Manchester Olive Garden on Tuesday. 8 cars in parking lot. Was told 25 to 30 minutes wait. We left and went somewhere else and just walked in. We tried Methuen Olive Garden Sunday afternoon, we use check in online and said for 6 people 5 to 10 minutes. We thought great, got there and was told a little bit longer. About 25 to 30 minutes! What the hell? Well I think I'm done with Olive Garden. We go almost anywhere with little wait. No more , too bad it was alway our favorite place. I just I'll just buy the salad dressing and avoid the usual 25 to 30 minute wait.

Was greeted right away by hostess who had me wait only a few minutes until til a table was ready. Wait wasn't bad at all the issues began once I got to the table. Server was pretty abrupt did not introduce himself and immediately was asking what I wanted seconds after sitting down. Service felt extremely rushed. Ordered the Zappa Tuscana which I was then several minutes later advised they didn't have. When I hesitated on providing a second option he went back to the kitchen and brought me the soup. Still no breadsticks on the table at this point or offer for cheese. Manager came by table to check on me and I asked for cheese. My mystery server came back offered the cheese and brought breadsticks. Then disappeared to the back before I barely had taken 2 bites my entree was already being delivered to the table which added to the feeling of feeling like he wanted me to hurry up and be done. I began eating the main dish the ravioli carbonara and noticed the obscene amount of butter and oil pooled on the plate ( it was clear the sauce had broken. I asked for another plate so I could salvage the pasta that was left in the plate. Server came back around and asked if I was all set. I decided to order the black tie mousse cake for dessert. He disappeared again then minutes later asked me again what I had requested. I resubmitted my order at which time I also asked for a Diet Coke. He appeared almost immediately after which was a great recovery for having not placed the order to begin with but then proceeded to slam my drink down on the table. Very disappointed in this experience and definitely not up to par with what I would expect having dined at the Olive Garden before. It wasn't til I printed my receipt that I got the servers name Leonel M. I'd definitely steer clear based on this experience.

The food was good but I can't say the same about the waiters. We got snarky answers to our questions. Asked for a refill on the breadsticks and drinks before our main course came out but received our refills AFTER our food was eaten which really sucked, since we had no drinks with our entire meals. We were never checked up on and sat with our glasses empty and plates stacked for about 15 minutes before they were taken. The table next to us was being waited by the same person but he would walk by us or go the other direction each time he would help them out. When we asked to split the check one cash one card it seemed all his costumer service went out the door, we thought it was also very weird that he stood their as we were paying and figuring everything out.

The last time we went here as a group of 6 we all could not wait for either chicken Alfredo or fettuccine Alfredo. We sat down ordered drinks waited forever and a day after that and then we started ordering. THEN they tell us they're out of Alfredo sauce! At this point it's too late to go anywhere else so they tell us they'll substitute the Alfredo sauce for scampi sauce because it's "basically the same thing" it was TERRIBLE!!! And they treated us like WE were the bad guys! There should've been SOME notice that they were all out of Alfredo sauce even before they sat us! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!!

Olive Garden reached out and addressed the situation. My husband has returned since then and said he found a new favorite dish. He received fast and friendly curbside service. Thanks

This is one of those restaurants that you could predictably have a decent menu. Not so much toady. It was 3:30 so not busy. Ordered Eggplant Parmesan. Was written correctly but was delivered chicken parm. Easy mistake.. So far no problem. Told the waitress and she said she would correct. So I waited and didn't eat my dinner. Of course everyone else ate. Waited and waited and finally had to call over the waitress. She forgot. So she delivered a eggplant take out box and charges me for that. Since I waited for a switch I should have been comped.

If I could give this restaurant a zero stars I would. Unless you want your food filled with grease then I would stay away if I was you. I've gone to this restaurant for years and this has never happened before. The cheese was hard when it arrived and the pasta was undercooked. Very disappointed.
