Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Good food, very affordable which is surprising in today’s economy. We were seated fast and had our meals within 20 minutes of being seated. Giant bowl of salad that served 4 to 6 people. I had spaghetti and meatballs (rigatoni) and came with free breadsticks. Under $20. That’s better than cooking at home and you don’t have to wash the dishes. Our waiter was fast,attentive, and professional. The place is kept clean overall a win win. This was the riverdale rd west spfld location. Well done Olive Garden.

I stopped here on my way to Bradley for a quick dinner. I ordered my usual since I wanted something familiar and light. The food was good but I have had better at other Olive gardens. Mainly breadsticks could have been fresher and seasoning in the soup was a little light. I paid my tab via the tabletop tablet and I didn't receive any after dinner mints. I am not sure if my server was new or just really shy. The server taking care of the tables across from me was an excellant server. I think his name is Brian or Brandon.

McKayla was genuinely the best server I’ve ever had. Ask for her if you end up going, she’s new! And I live in RI so this is unbiased!

I love this olive garden. I get take out once and a while, and dine in once a year or so. It's always delicious. Tonight's experience was made even more spectacular by our waitress. I didn't catch her name (braces, brown hair), but she was new, enthusiastic, and attentive. There was one error on the bill, but she fixed it right away. Even seasoned wait staff isn't as good as she was! I hope this environment is good to her and tip her generously. Yes, the quality of the food matters. But it's the interactions human to human that make a person come back.

We have all been to Olive Garden but this one tops them all. The hostesses were friendly and quickly showed us to our table. The atmosphere was nice and they had great seating choices for us. It was nice being able to hear each other talk. First off I have to say our waiter was amazing! He was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure that we had everything we needed and if we needed refills. Some of the best service I have ever had! The waiter brought out our drinks and bread sticks right away. I ordered zuppa tuscana it came hot and fresh. It stayed warm the entire time I was eating it. That's really enjoyable when you eat soup. For dinner I had the chicken and shrimp carbonara it came out nice and hot. This pasta was so enjoyable because it came out fresh. It was delicious! My nephew ordered a salad with ranch. In my personal opinion I like the Italian dressing better but I'm glad that my nephew really enjoyed the salad. My nephew also had the tour of Italy, he really enjoyed the lasagna. He said it was fantastic! My daughter ordered the chicken fettuccine with grapes. My daughter said the sauce was so creamy and delicious. The grapes were sweet. I really enjoyed this Olive Garden and I will be back for more! Thank you for the excellent experience! Thanks for your awesome service!

The best alfredo pasta around here outside of a single local joint an hour away and even then, it's close. I've always enjoyed their pasta and the way they cook their chicken. The soup is always a gamble, though I think it's been a little more consistent lately. It sucks getting the chicken gnocchi and not having chicken. Just because it isn't 5 stars on my review doesn't mean it isn't good service or food, the servers are always nice and the food is usually good except when they rush and don't strain the pasta enough and I get watery sauce and pasta. But that's been rare recently too, so I'm pretty happy.

Wonderful ,fast service and take out!! Clean and piping hot and fresh food!!! The most delicious minestrone soup in the entire world , and best bread sticks to go!!! Had a wonderful experience tonight while having dinner with my daughters. The waiter Moises was the best. My daughter is autistic and he made her experience so joyful. He was very attentive and kind and gave wonderful suggestions on dishes and drinks. Towards the end he took his time out to play a game with my daughter and got her to laugh. He is a great addition to this place. Highly recommend him

Family took our father for his 78th birthday. Service was impeccable, our waitress was beyond amazing, wish I got her name. Food was awesome, breadsticks always hit the spot, we got 2 giant salads for five people, entrees were all delicious and hot, came out at the perfect time after our salad. Best part? Unlimited salad and breadsticks, 5 adult entrees, soft drinks, and 2 take home dishes, $130. You can't beat that for a weekday family dinner. Free birthday dessert too! I know, I know, it's a "kinda Italian" chain, but sometimes that's perfect for an affordable family time. Will be back for mom's birthday later this year.

I live in an area called "Little Italy," so I am no stranger to Italian cuisine. Olive Garden, in general, provides good food at a fair price. This trip, I met relatives from New Hampshire, and they chose the Chicopee Olive Garden. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was tasty.

I came here for dinner with friends after going to funz trampoline park. The place was very crowded on a Friday night but we were seated fast. The service was very good and the food was good. The bathroom was clean and even had a step ladder for kids to wash their hands. I would definitely come back to this location.

Went there today and spent 135 dollars and it was completely disgusting food came out Cold waited about an hour and 20 for it. People can after us and ate and left before we got our food. My daughter found hair in her grapes and no flavor at to anyone plate and there were 6 of us !! Never again

Over all it was good, but the food was meh. The service was amazing. Yeah, I recommend this place if you just are really hunger.

I went here the other night, and I had one of the best waiters I have ever had at any restaurant. His name was Philip, he was fast with service, he was very nice and he made sure we were taken care of. Thank you Philip! The food was delicious and the restaurant was very clean and nice.

My husband and I are here for lunch today. The food was delicious. Malanie was our waitress and she was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu and specials. We started off with drinks and appetizers. I had a raspberry lemonade and my husband had water with lemon. We also had the spinach dip and salad. I love their salad and bread sticks. Next we ordered our entree. I ordered spaghetti with meatballs and my husband ordered seafood pasta. Both were very delicious and plentiful. I didn't eat all of my food. I have 3/4th of it left for later. My husband ate all of his meal. Our son didn't come, so we got him spaghetti with meat balls as well. There are so many specials at Olive Garden. They have the lunch special, the $5 take home pasta and other deals. If I had to do it all over again, I would get spaghetti with more shredded cheese. I had forgot to request extra sauce and cheese.

What a delicious dinner we had! Branden was our server and he was excellent. He was so welcoming and made sure we didn't need anything! He made our dinner experience so relaxing! We will be back!

Excellence in Olive Gardens... It's not where you go for your 50th Anniversary, if you take your glasses off, it's Friendly's with a bar for atmosphere. The floors look like they need a sweep, but the fettuccine Alfredo was tasty and the service could not have been nicer. Kristin, my server, was more attentive, frankly, than at restaurants that charge ten times the price of Olive Garden.

Sometimes you really don't know how to fairly rate a chain restaurant. On one hand, they usually have a consistent menu of things that you like, including my favorite breadsticks and Alfredo sauce with the bottomless" salad that comes with one of my favorite dressings and ripe Roma (?) tomatoes and olives. On the other hand, you are usually looking at a menu that probably hasn't changed very much in the last 15 years. Well, they did add gluten- free pasta... This particular Olive Garden is always busy because it is one of the few restaurants where you can sit down with your family for a nice meal on this strip that doesn't serve pizza or fast food. Yes, I consider Hooters and Panera "fast food". On this trip, the cheese sauces were especially oily, and not as creamy as in the past-as if they had been sitting most of the day separating in a pot somewhere. I always get the portobello mushroom ravioli with it's smoky cheese sauce And my daughter always gets the fettuccine Alfredo.Again, I come here from time to time because I know the food is usually consistently tasty. I prefer to sit in a quieter family-owned restaurant than to be in a crowded place like this. So, four stars for lack of menu originality and dangerous corners to the tables which took my poor daughter's leg out , And five stars for this particular restaurant having great back up. There was support managers taking drink orders while the servers were busy. It was a well oiled machine for sure.

I had the worst experience ever they charged me for extra food, and when I asked to take it off, they accuse me of stealing the food and said that they will call the cops. If the bill is unpaid, I paid, and they went outside and took pictures of my license plate while I was still in the restaurant just because I asked why there was extra salad on the bill not only that they where rude the whole time whouldt even listen to us when we asked for food btw I whouldt even give this one star

Honestly I hate to give bad reviews. But the service here was below average though the woman did apologize about all of the mishaps. They gave my friend the completely wrong dish. They gave her chicken Alfredo instead of chicken and shrimp carbonara. The appetizers were pretty bleh.. we got a sampler with calamari and the seafood stuffed mushrooms (barely a trace of seafood)...and to top it all off, we found a tiny hair on top of a piece of calamari like an eyelash sized. We didn't say anything and we just removed the food and the hair from the plate. Once we got the correct entrée for her, and I had gotten the braised beef lasagna tower, they were excellent.. The salad and breadsticks and wine were good as always. I don't know maybe it was just an off day. But it seemed like there was a lot going wrong.. I would try them again.

Late night stop and the staff were so welcoming. Our dinner was delish made special due to dairy free, salad was fresh and highly recommend the shrimp scampi. We were comfortable and the our section was perfectly clean.

Went to this location last night and had the seafood Alfredo and my partner had the chicken Marsala. Halfway through our meal my partner started to get sharp stomach pains and went to their bathroom and began throwing up. I thought he might've just been sick, until we got home and I started throwing up badly as well. We both got food poisoning from this location, I've been to Olive Garden so many times and never had this experience, however I don't usually go to this location. I'm just posting this to make people aware I don't think their kitchen is handling food safely.

Sat at the bar. She was busy, but acknowledged me. Ordered bread sticks and the Alfredo sauce. Just didn't taste right..... lacked flavor. Not really happy with Olive Garden in general lately.

Waited for 10 minutes for the server to even come over or acknowledge us and then greeted us with "do you know what you want?" At that point we decided to not even bother and left. Don't waste your time at this location.

It was a good Family Sunday Dinner. The Server was great with my 2 year old daughter and fast with her service. The appetizers were over cooked and kinda burnt. But everything was good.

Its my Birthday what a day and a special place to go to eat in the West Springfield area . Food was awesome the waitress is very fabulous . She helped to make my Birthday a awesome day. No complaints today. Everything was well served

My friend and I went to dinner at this Olive Garden location at around 9 pm. We were sat quickly only for an old man to be sat next to us a few minutes later. Apparently he sits at the same spot every time he goes. The tables were very close and he began talking to us. Asking us personal questions like how old we are and where we work. He was also making fun of a customer and one of the waitresses. It took a little while for anyone to notice we were uncomfortable. Two very nice waitresses came over and began to take our orders separately. He then insisted that he should pay for our meals and we should move the tables together so that we can all eat together. In this moment one of the waitresses passed us a note that said "he comes here all the time don't". so we politely declined his offer. He began to get hostile at us and the waitresses as they reiterated that we were not interested and he continued to try and get the tables moved together. Soon the manager came over asking what the problem was and the waitresses calmly explained the situation. She again reiterated we were not interested and he became angry and told her to stop speaking for us. Asking us "you don't wanna keep an old man happy". We were then moved away from him. The waitress that passed us the note came and sat next to us explaining that he's done this on multiple occasions but for whatever reason they won't ban him and stop this from happening to other young girls. Which makes me wonder why after all these times young women are still being sat at the table next to it, and why they let us sit with him, clearly knowing what would happen. I am grateful for those waitresses because who knows how far it would have went if they didn't help us get out of the situation. If you are a young woman avoid this Olive Garden and if you do go, be cautious that there is a chance this could happen to you. They are clearly not pushing for customer safety.

5 stars for this Olive Garden! Went on New Year's Eve and they were PACKED. Yet food came out within 15 minutes of ordering! Staff is very friendly. Good food, good drinks. Good time! Ordered: -angel hair w/marinara -green apple moscato sangria Both where good, my boyfriend ordered fettuccine Alfredo, a coffee and some wine, he was satisfied with it all. All was good and tasty!

So I haven't been in an Olive Garden in decades and I thought that I would stop by with my friends and family to get and family to give them a try and the food I have to admit was actually very good the only downside there was a very long wait but it was worth it and the food was really good

We were in town for the big E and stopped down to have some olive garden before going home to pennsylvania. We are a family of 12, 4 adults and 8 children and the restaurant refused to sit us together or even in 2 tables of 6 next to eachother. the management was not considerate at all and had no way of helping or accommodating us. Will not be returning

My waiter was really slow and very unorganized. Seems to be understaffed, we weren't checked in on so the hospitality could be much better. This is supposed to be a restaurant not a buffet. The bread is supposed to be endless yet they didn't bring any back and my meal took about a hour before my food was even received .. not thrilled worst experience I've had here

Our waitress was extremely impersonable. It felt like she made it a point to not look me in the eyes even once during our entire visit. I tried making conversation with her because I understand being a waitress isn't the most fun job, but it's always nice to be treated respectfully and kindly. She refused to acknowledge that gesture, so I ordered my food and that was that. I still expressed gratitude to her for giving us extra napkins, asking how our meal was, and boxing the leftovers without us asking, and she was still very cold and short with me. The salad was drenched in dressing, hardly edible. The bread sticks were very salty, not enjoyable. My meal was delicious but it's hard to mess up chicken broccoli alfredo. Even if the food was absolutely perfect, I would never return because the service was terrible. I've never felt so disgusted at a restaurant before.

The tramusu was cool I liked the chicken The salad dressing was fantastic i had 3 refills... I will come back... good one

If I could do a half star I would. So in general this place is pretty solid when I just go with my girlfriend. $40-$50 for the two of us with an appetizer and the quantity of food is good. The quality is pretty solid too, it's honestly hard to mess up pasta. The only bad experience I had was last night but they seemed extra busy, we waited for about an hour to get food which wasn't bad but then our waiter didn't check in with us for 30-45 minutes so I was out of water for a while. The other reason this was an issue is cause we were trying to catch a movie we had pre bought tickets for and we were running late because of this. I know they have the table checkouts but we had to leave a decent bit of food behind because we got very small boxes to bring stuff back in. I recommend going earlier in the day or closer to their closing

I haven't been to Olive Garden in years. My 6 year old kept seeing the commercials and asking if we could go. I was so pleasantly surprised. I came expecting mediocre food in a chain-restaurant-level-of-cleanliness. Our waitress was Jean. She didn't stop smiling while offering excellent service during a time when the restaurant was totally packed. I was thrilled with the pick your own kids meal option. My son had buttery spaghetti with shrimp. No it wasn't fresh from the cape but it was nicely prepared. The broccoli was actually green and fresh looking and tasting. The milk was cold. I ordered the Zuppa Toscana which was totally delicious. It came out hot. It's the little things that make or break a dining experience. My whole meal came to under $15 and we will definitely be coming back. Jean's service was exceptional.

This place has gone downhill. It use to be my favorite restaurant but now I don't know what's been going on there. The food don't taste right and they constantly always forget to bring me my drink but they are quick enough to bill you for it. Don't waste your time coming here.

Olive Garden is always a solid choice! My meal was about $14, I got the portobello raviolis and they were great! My boyfriend made his own dish option and it was also very good. Salad and breadsticks never disappoint. Would highly recommend the lasagna fritta for an app, soooo good! Our waitress was really nice an attentive as well, her name was Lizz! Good experience. Would recommend putting your self on the wait list online at home if your going to come on a weekend, there was a bit of a wait!

The waiter got the order wrong and never brought drink refills after we asked many times.

I ended up going here for a friends birthday party. When we first arrived the line was absolutely out the door with people shoving. I got bumped into by another customer. I met my party that had been previously seated and ordered a Diet Coke which was returned as a regular Coke by the waitress. Salad was served and it was all iceberg lettuce ....cheap. After a long wait I was finally served my correct drink and I ordered the Herb roasted Salmon with broccoli. The waitress did not offer me a selection of sides at all when I ordered. When the salmon plate arrived it was cooked adequately enough but that was pretty much it. Aside from the steamed broccoli which was slightly soggy my overall experience was a 2 out of 5. The waitress was kind enough to split our bill 5 ways for a large party of people.

One of the better Olive Gardens that I have ever been to. There is that little detail that amazes me. There is enough of a difference between the restaurants across country to make them slightly different from each other. Even the presentation of the menu items differ by cooking staff. Still, I liked it here. Wait staff was friendly and quite efficient in their duties. Food was good when it arrived. If I ever come back this way I would return here.

Most ridiculous customer service ever! Made me wait for 2 hours total in the que for lunch. Still ended up giving my place to someone else and I had to leave with "to go" Manager never showed up to speak to. Asked me to wait further for the manager ! Most ridiculous place ever!

first of all my server was very rude and had a problem every time I asked them for something and I wasn't being disrespectful at all I was being very polite like I always am to waitresses and also they charged me extra money for food that I didn't even order and when I asked them to take it off my bill she went outside to take a picture of my license plate and the manager didn't do anything about it and was telling us to leave the restaurant after we was being very polite and wanted our sever to delete that picture of our license plate I don't recommend coming here very bad service

Lasagna does have feelings... So Today I went to Olive Garden and expected the usual. "Decent" Italian food. So I choose to take the "Tour de Italy " and once my plate was dropped off, I was amazed. The portion of pasta comically small, with just a touch of Alfredo sauce. The Chicken parm was OK. Now the star of the show was the Lasagna. I have NEVER seen something so SAD. It looked like a melted piece of cheese and some sauce that got thrown in a mic... It wasn't even a half in think high. I'm not sure if I can post pics so I'll try. Now my waiter was clueless or just didn't care. I must say the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was good. Very disappointing, dropped $50.00 for a very subpar experience.

It's a chain restaurant foods ok service is spotty. Don't order a mix drink it's straight simple syrup.

We went right when they opened up at 11:00 am for lunch. We were cheerfully greeted by an enthusiastic hostess who opened the doors and welcomed us in. Our waiter Brian N. was very delightful and wonderful and knowledgable as my father is vegetarian, he advised us on lots of choices for his meal. The bread sticks were warm and delicious and the salad was cold and fresh and delicious. The beer was cold and good, the limonata beverage was crisp and refreshing. The food came hot and steamy from the kitchen soon after. We did additional helpings of the never ending salad and breadsticks... Brian our waiter was debonair and charming as he attended to our water needs. Brian was a lovely gentleman, as a frequent Olive Garden visitor he scored hi and contributed to the plesant luncheon visit. Everywhere in the restaurant was clean and fresh.... including the restrooms.

We were at the Olive Garden last night (7/29/17). We were not disappointed with the service. It was very good. We were disappointed with the food. We started with salad and bread sticks which were good. Iceberg lettuce with a few tomatoes, cucumbers, hot peppers, an olive or two and croutons. Our waitress topped the salad with a good helping of grated cheese. It was good I had the Italian dressing. I ordered the salmon. It was a small piece, but it was tasty.. Also the waitress asked if i wanted to add potatoes. I added mashed potatoes - very small amount for the price.(I could have bought 5 lb. of potatoes if they were on sale for amount charged) The salmon comes with broccoli which had some kind of parmesan topping on them as described in the menu. The broccoli was steamed and plain. I asked our waitress if it was to have some sort of parmesan topping, and she brought back a small container of parmesan cheese with tiny little bits of herbs (about a teaspoon). I sprinkled it on my broccoli. I am sure it would have been better if it was prepared as the menu stated. My partner ordered the Chicken Parm. It was 2 patties of chicken with a small amount of spaghetti which my partner said tasted like canned pasta. I tasted the sauce. It was flavorless. He was very disappointed with his meal. Altogether our bill came to over $60.00 with the tip. Not worth it. I am not sure if I will ever return to Olive Garden. I expected much better food..

I love the olive garden and their food. However their whole system of carside to go during the pandemic was just ridiculous. It was so bad I wanted to explain to them how it should be done efficiently because it was just absurd. There is no reason the same person should be coming to your car 3 times to ask the name on the order AFTER I already called and told them the name and where I was parked. Took 25 minutes just to have them bring the food out to my car EVERY TIME. I understand the pandemic threw everyone for a loop but this didn't happen just once; I love the olive garden so I go there frequently. I finally stopped going because it just wasn't worth the hassle of waiting while they tried to figure it out every time.

Worst meal- ordered salmon and they brought me steak. My husband finished his meal by the time my salmon finally came- and then when the salmon finally came it was raw. And they didn't even take it off the bill. Lost my business.

Total dissatisfaction today for one of our staple restaurants. Sitting at the bar we were ignored by a bartender (for at least 5 minutes) more focused in clocking out than taking our order. Looked at us several times and kept her back to us. Enter the new bartender who proceeded to wait on the people to our left who arrived after us. Disappointed that the steak gorgonzola is off the menu, no ice tea refill offered, no salad refill offered, we didn't receive any Andes mints with our check and the overall lack of interest by the bar staff was evident. There are plenty of choices in restaurants and we won't be beating feet back here any time soon.

What the honest hell... this shithole of a restaurant. Make a reservation to wait an hour and 15 minutes past our time. Even after speaking to the manager we waited 20 minutes before our table was even being cleared. Never been here before, will NEVER be back. The food was good but the service was ASS. Those shitbirds took forever to come serve us. We got to the table and there were no fucking breadsticks. Needless to say, this experience has been absolute shit.

My wife, kids and I went to this Olive Garden branch on a Friday night, we reserved a table online. When we got there we didn't have to wait at all! Our service was great! The drinks and food came fast, and were very delicious! Our server was Arielle K was fantastic! She was very professional, courteous, polite, and went above and beyond our needs! I would highly recommend asking to be waited on by Arielle K. Over all, our the dinner was very good!
