Olive Tree Apartments

Quiet setting among olive farms within walking distance to a very traditional and beautiful local village. There is a cafe/supermarket just around the corner which operates from 6am to 9pm where you can find most things you might need. The apartment was ample with a full fridge, a Terrence with seating area, a pool and there was ample parking. No light polution what so ever so the stars at night were incredible. Beautiful sunrises also and within driving distance to kissamos for a ferry to balos and gramvosa which we did. Also a short driving distance to the forgotten flottila wreck. We had a fantastic stay here.

We loved the friendly and homey atmosphere in the hotel. The staff is very helpful and makes a stay here very easy with lots of advice for your trips (both booked or self-organized) and suggestions for beaches and restaurants. The well equipped rooms are very clean and spacious with a balcony to the ocean and a sitting area with view to the mountains as well. There are lots of books in different languages that one can read. The pool is nice and it is cozy to lie in the pool area. Children are very welcome and can enjoy the clean pool whenever they like. The hotel is located in a very quiet area. One only hears the crickets. We recommend it highly. Thank you very much.

The owner Mr Kostas was very easy to communicate with and always available for anything. I arrived after hours and my check-in was very well organized and professional. Ms. Eleni was so sweet and helpful and genuinely invested in each and every guests experience, not just at the property, but in Kissamos overall. She is very knowledgeable about the area and had great recommendations and suggestions. I also just genuinely enjoyed our chats and spending time with her. She works very hard and you can easily see that, as the rooms and the property are literally spotless. I will return to Crete, just to stay here again. It was so peaceful, fantastic views, huge accommodation, easy parking and great location for activities on the West Side of the island. 10/10 - 5 stars - Perfection!

Excellent accommodation and friendly hosts. We spent 3 days in the Olive Tree Apartments in the beginning of June. The location was perfect due to proximity to Balos Beach, Fallassarna and Elafonnissi Beach. Quiet and peaceful surroundings and very nice view and swimming pool. We would definitely like to come back in the future!

Located in a quiet village of Kaliviani this place is perfect for families. Quiet surrounding, a pool and big rooms with a free baby cot. Kitchen has everything you need, maybe apart from the microwave but you don't go for a holiday to eat microwavable food. Staff is really friendly and helpful, especially the manager. There's a beach nearby but haven't been there yet and also the famous Balos lagoon short drive away. The only downside is the rooms are not quite soundproof and you can hear people talking and moving chairs upstairs but I'm an anxious sleeper so even fly's fart can wake me up😉 In general I can definitely recommend the place for the price.👍

We have stayed at the Olive Tree Apartments many times over the last five years. The cleanliness is outstanding. The building is in the countryside with views of the sea over the olive trees. There is a cafe 50m away and several restaurants within a short 5-10 min walk.

A wonderful place to stay. We love the peaceful area next to very beautiful beaches. Great warm welcome!! everything you need is here, clean and spacious accommodation. Will definitely be visiting again. We love it!

Lovely, well equipped apartments on the edge of the small village of Kaliviani. Great views to sea and mountains. The apartments are cleaned everyday and were spotless. Lovely pool too.
