Yelp
Excellent Mediterranean restaurant - pizza, pasta, and a small selection of other eclectic alternatives.
My wife had superb clams in a fennel and white wine sauce, followed by a tasty lamb tagine, and a good (if a little conventional) selection of cheeses.
I had a rich pate to start, followed by some of the best cooked calves liver that I've had in a long, long time, and a delicious rich chocalate pot stiffened with brandy.
The restaurant has an OK (and very cheap by London standards) wine list; nothing exceptional, but quality solid, and a little more diverse than the average neighbourhood restaurant.
We went on a Saturday night, and it quickly filled from 6pm, with people being turned away by 6:45, so book ahead. Clearly, from what we saw, much loved by locals as well as us tourists. Service was friendly, child-friendly, and efficient.
Prices are very reasonable if, like us, your benchmark is London.
