Olive Tree House Care Home

Olive Tree House Nursing Home is a truly lovely place. The atmosphere is welcoming, calm, and well organised, and it’s clear that residents are treated with dignity, respect, and genuine kindness. The staff are professional, caring, and attentive, and the home itself is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. It’s obvious that a lot of pride goes into creating a safe and supportive environment for both residents and staff. A wonderful care home in Bristol.

I visited the care home and was very impressed. It looks very nice, clean, and welcoming. The manager is friendly, approachable, and very supportive, creating a warm and positive atmosphere. It is clearly a well-run care home, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe and caring place for their loved ones.

My mum has the misfortune of being in a different home for 3 weeks before we were lucky enough to get her a place at Olive Tree House. The contrast in care standards are polar opposites. My mum had some little quirky ways of engagement and the floor manager spotted them without me telling her within a couple of days and worked with my mum to give her the best stay she could. Just before she sadly passed away there my mum said she had never felt so spoilt in her whole life. What more could you want for your loved ones? Having experienced what care should not look like in another home I can not recommend Olive Tree House enough.

Mum was at Olive Tree for about2 months before she sadly passed away. She had complex needs and received the very best care from Olive Tree staff, I can honestly say, they were second to none. They were professional but caring and kept us involved and up to date with every aspect of her care from day one. Mums best interests were always their priority, to the extent of ending a phone call with mum as it was causing her too much distress. They could easily have legit continue for fear of upsetting me but took mums well being first and foremost. This told me that they really were all about the residents.Any small thing with mum they phoned and told us about, even going through her care plan to make sure we were happy with it, and if we wanted to add to it or make any changes. Although mum always said she wanted to go home which is the norm for mos people in a home, she always said it was lovely there and that the staff were lovely and she wanted for nothing. The rooms are superb, 100% better than where my dad ended up a few years ago. At the time of mums death, again, the staff were very empathic showing feeling and extremely professional, allowing us to spend time with mum. I cannot rate this home highly enough and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who was thinking of making a placement there. So, lastly, big thanks to Olive Tree, your compassion and dedication continually shines through.

I have to say that I am very impressed, the staff, the care and facilities are second to none. Any reservation you may have or face regarding care for a much loved family member will be met with reassurance from an impressive and professional ly run home with amazing staff at all levels of service. What a special place although my mum spent only 6 weeks here before she passed away, it was her home. The staff were of great support to her and us as a family, despite challenging medical problems my mum was treated with respect and dignity. To see her join in with activities i will treasure. Lovely care home. Looking after my Dad really well. So much appreciated. Sad that it has taken 6 months to reply. In which time my Dad has passed away. Maybe check b4 you respond after such a long time. Still did a good job tho. X
