Olive Young Myeongdong Town

You cannot say that you have been to Korea if you have not passed by an Olive Young and gotten your treats of creams and Korean beauty products. Even if the make up does not necessarily work With all types (for us white caucasians, the colors and skin complexion are different). However, it is a fact that skin care in Korea is one of the bests worldwide and you will find a good fit for your skin. I have been tens of times to these shops that are scattered all Over the city. If you want a rich experience and personalized service, avoid the overcrowded touristic areas where it becomes not only difficult to shop but to even walk.

The best korean local cosmetics all you can buy here. Very big store and so many customers but cash counter were working very fast. I got many discounts products. I got a instant Tax free right at the store. Don't need to go airport tax free office. Highly recommend

In Japan has no seats anywhere. Sitting for an hour isn't so bad. 3. They have a food and beverage section 👍 4. Location is convenient and easy to get to. Lots of restaurants nearby. 5. Wife is happy with her experience and purchases. Most important!

As one of the busiest Olive Young locations, the store is almost always packed with shoppers, especially tourists stocking up on Korean beauty essentials. Despite the crowds, the shopping experience is well-organized, and the payment process is surprisingly efficient. Although the queues at checkout may look long, the store has numerous payment counters on both the first and second floors, ensuring that the lines move quickly. One unique perk of shopping here is the free gift you can claim if you sign up for an Olive Young account online. After registering, you can use a vending machine inside the store to collect your freebie—a fun and rewarding experience that adds to the overall visit.

It’s a big 2 storey outlet with plenty of beauty products to shop from. Nice that they included a seating area as well. However, I was very disappointed by the way I was treated by the staff at the makeup section. I was just minding my own business browsing the items when a staff stepped in to stop me from browsing the available stocks. She asked in a rude manner what I was looking for and was quick to brush me off when she realised the item wasn’t available. Left the place feeling undervalued as a customer.

This Myungdong Flagship store is super huge! They also have a vending machine on the second floor which dispenses free gifts if you register as a member. Be sure to be connected to the olive young wifi before you register as a member or you won’t be eligible for the free gift.

Brace yourself — this place draws a passionate crowd! Even though it gets very busy, the staff is polite and helpful. It’s a skincare enthusiast’s paradise, with so many brands and options to choose from. My advice is to come with at least some idea of what you’re looking for so you don’t get overwhelmed (my husband definitely was! 😂). It was a great experience, and I loved everything I bought here. This was the one place where I found everything I was looking for, and the prices were great!

Super crowded but its so fun for a shopping!! Many cosmetic brands here for massive selection. Price is similar to the free-duty-shops. I took lipstick, lips palm and spray serum. My friends took double of mine and a local perfum and masks. Worth shopping here ;)
