Yesterday, I had the wonderful opportunity to participate in a workshop at Olive Yu Studio, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was inspiring, and the space felt both welcoming and creative. The team was incredibly supportive and professional, guiding us step by step with patience and passion. I learned so much, not only about the craft itself but also about the beauty of taking time to create something meaningful with your own hands. Thank you, Olive Yu Studio, for such a memorable day. I left feeling inspired, confident, and excited to keep learning. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone interested in discovering or deepening their love for handmade artistry.

We had the most amazing experience making our rings. This was a treat for my daughter and it didn’t disappoint. The staff were fantastic and patient and allowed us to take our time in creating our personal style. We were also offered the opportunity to add precious or semi precious stones to our rings and choose the setting. This took a full three hours plus, but worth every minute. Don’t worry…. If things go wrong at any point they are quick to offer support and remedy any mistakes, so that you are guaranteed an amazing piece of jewellery. It was a fascinating and fulfilling experience, creating the wax ring, to making the mould, melting the silver and pouring it…. filing it down, sanding and polishing the end product. I would thoroughly recommend heading to Olive Yu to create your own special handcrafted masterpiece.

Loved the jewelry class here! The view was stunning, and it was such a fun way to create a unique souvenir to take home. Definitely a memorable experience!

Such a nice and unique experience! The staff are really mindful and helpful to make sure you able to create the ring that you had in mind. The session is said to last 4 hours but honestly the stay and help you until you are fully satisfied with your piece. Really good value for price as it is both a challenge and fun experience plus you end up with a beautiful and personal souvenir❤️

I stumbled upon this gem (pun intended) my first day in Ahangama and spontaneously booking in for thier workshop that started only an hour later. Best choice ever! The workshop was very thorough and it was fun to build something beautiful from scratch and see the process. I have a new found appreciation for jewelers and their craftsmanship! It's hard but rewarding. Staff are really helpful and friendly, great snacks and refreshments and really reasonable price! Highly reccomend :)

While I love the ring that came out of the workshop and it’s a great unique souvenir, I am not super satisfied with the workshop, especially at this price point. There is a better and cheaper workshop in Weligama at Sapiens that I did after. I wish at Olive they would also put more thought in the beginning at the wanted design and had master jewelers there to talk you through in the beginning and show you the gems and possibilities. At times the course was lacking Organisation, precision and not enough high qualified staff. It is more a „go with the flow“ class than thinking of and making a design, which the other workshop was even though this class was almost double the cost.
