Oliver's Astoria

First off, the service was great. Sebastian was a great waiter - very attentive and courteous. Second, the food was delicious - we had the chicken and waffles ($20) and the buttermilk biscuit sliders ($18), both of which came with sriracha honey. The chicken and waffles were crispy and well-seasoned, and we were very fond of the sriracha honey. The steak from the steak and eggs ($31) was tender and juicy. The salmon rice bowl ($25) was good. There was a good portion of salmon, but just know that it comes with salmon skin (which I'm fond of, however I know some people would prefer just the skinless fillet). It came with a sriracha ranch sauce; my only complaint is that I wish it had a little more heat. The spiked hot cocoa (it's on their in-person menu - $12) was so good, we got seconds! The venue was very cozy, a great environment to catch up with friends. I would come here again to try out their bottomless brunch!

My fiance and I are opening a restaurant and are going around reviewing places to see what it’s like on the other side of the table and I have to say Mike and James were exceptional. I came in the middle of a busy brunch shift and they were able to accommodate me with professionalism and amazing cocktails. He was knowledgeable about the food and drink menu and most importantly friendly. Give my guy a raise!!!

Fun spot with loud music, strong spicy ginger margaritas, mimosa trees, and booth, bar, and stool seating. A nice size menu with a good variety of food. I had a chicken Caesar salad and my friend had avocado toast with salmon on the side. Enjoyed mine and she seemed to like hers as well. The staff is sweet and welcoming. Would gladly come back.

I've been here a few times for casual drinks and twice for brunch. The food is good enough, slightly elevated from a bar or chain restaurant with all the basics covered on the menu. All visits have been pleasant. There's always a vibe, good music and a good crowd. Lisa was our waitress today, she was very friendly and attentive. This place is a neighborhood staple.

I love going to trivia at Oliver’s. It’s a highlight of my week, and it feels especially special due to the exceptional work of Lisa, who makes sure to take care of my trivia team every week. Lisa makes going to Oliver’s feel like going home. She knows all our drink orders by heart, and always makes sure to spend extra time with our trivia team. I can’t speak highly enough about Lisa and Oliver’s, where the food and drink is matched only by the heart and humility.

Stopped in for a beer & burger left completely satisfied. Had great conversation with the hostess Saarah from Egypt. Will be stopping by again next time I’m in Astoria Queens

The selection of breakfast items was great. I want to return for to taste other menu items. My steak and eggs was good. My hot cider was great.

(3.8/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️) this place is pretty basic. American style food. They had a taco Tuesday special with margaritas which def seem to be the affordable choices. Now I got their steak ciabatta and it was so bland, the bread tasted like a regular hero bread, stale. I was disappointed. Their fries are mid. The service was alright. Overall I guess if your friends like this spot and want to come I’d go but it doesn’t give greatness or anything special.
