I have had the opportunity to shop here twice. Last year, I got an "exam box" for my best friend. I told them I wanted caffeine, healthy foods and for it feel special. Someone reached out to me quickly, was super helpful and they delivered a beautiful box that made him very happy and his friends jealous. The uniqueness, quality and quantity I was able to get in his box was fantastic. I just ordered another box for my mom's birthday and can't wait to hear about her reaction. If you are a busy professional and want to give a gift that took thought and care and leave it in the hands of experts, I recommend Olives and Grace.

Google
I work down the street from here and have popped in a few times. Wonderful little shop in the South End. Supports local makers and artisans with very high quality unique items. Beautiful store, sweet, friendly people, highly recommend for gifts or if you’re looking for interesting home decor, and products.

I work for a small company in Boston and we have used Olives & Grace to send the most thoughtful gift boxes to clients for celebratory occasions. I would highly, highly recommend Olives & Grace if you are looking for a unique gift to send someone that will absolutely blow them away! We receive so much positive feedback when clients receive the boxes and everyone at Olives & Grace is amazing to work with! They make the gift giving process incredibly enjoyable and easy.

This is one of my favorite spots in Boston. It is in the heart of the South End and is part of THE HEART of the neighborhood. The shop offers an array of personal and gift items. Many are made specifically by women and women in need. This is the perfect place to grab a few “Boston” items for a “local” gift. It is also my favorite spot to pick up a greeting card (birthday, wedding, or just because!) On a nice day you will likely see puppies being lured in to play, kids drawing with chalk on the sidewalk, or even the neighbors dancing out front.

Google
Love this place! I have purchased items for myself as well as gifts for others. Shop LOCAL! This locally owned & operated gift shop is the way to go. Personalized, friendly service. Sofi runs a wonderful business. I love how she supports local makers, which makes shopping here a no brainer to me! Boston is lucky to have Olives & Grace ❤️

Google
Sofi and Olives & Grace is the best thing to happen to my company in a long time. We use her corporate gift services to send client gifts. All the work is done for us, her gift boxes are superb and well received. O&G is consultative on what we want to send and constantly updating their list of available gifts! I would highly recommend anyone looking to send gifts on behalf of their company or making a one-off purchase to stop here first!

Google
The cutest little shop, perfect for buying gifts! The owner just radiates love (and is also so fun to follow on social media :) She curates a beautiful collection of items that which can also be purchased online. Check it out if you haven’t already!

Google
Adorable gift shop you shouldn't miss! There's a variety of edible gifts as well as useful modern products for the home. I loved the store. Everything is thoughtful and local. Such a great collection!

Yelp
Looking for a birthday gift and thought this would be the perfect place. Everything is sold out. Nothing to sell.

Yelp
You know those people who are just so nice and their life is so amazing that you almost want to find something bad to say, but you just can't? Now imagine a business like that, and in the heart of Boston. Locally owned, woman-owned, artisan carrying, and equality championing-that's this business. See? What can I say? I walked blocks of cobblestone streets and between brick buildings to arrive here on a overcast day (it was perfect). The layout is what many call "minimalism" these days, but honestly any fanfare would be a distraction. The beauty, and variety, of each artisan offering is breathtaking. You do not come here in a rush. You do not come here with a budget. You come here to remember why art is necessary to life and receive a free lesson in the difference between "consumer" and "patron". I have nothing but good to say. I left that day with two lowball glasses in hand and wish it had been much more. I have made a vow never to make a visit Boston without stopping here at least once. *Insider's Tip -Follow them on Instagram. You can thank me later.

Yelp
I have been told the store is closed during pandemic while the door was open, the music was played and the paintings were hanging on the wood board to protect their glass. No "closed" sign outside. The curbside pick up for retails is allowed in Mass at this point. If you are closed, do NOT pretend you are open with the music on and door open. Such weird experience. By the way, the girl works there today, you better know how to get rid off your attitude if you wanna survive in the pandemic.

Yelp
Sad that I had to travel ALLLL the way to Boston from NY to visit this little gem! Okay, I didn't travel here just for this shop - but it was definitely on my list of places to visit while I was here & i'm so glad I did. This shop has thee' best-curated gifts! Everything from mugs, hats, books, stationary, blankets and so much more! If you're looking for a unique gift for a loved one - this is your go to spot. The owner was such a doll & I love following her instagram account. I definitely need to visit their website & order a few gifts for some upcoming occasions. If you are in the area - stop by. You'll thank me when you do!

Yelp
It's wedding season. How do I know? I got married. Seasons follow my lead. Snagged an invite? You have two options: 1) Buy something off the registry. 2) Come to Olives & Grace. Have Sofi put together an incredibly curated basket of craft goods - some local, some near-local, all universally appealing and in constant rotation. You know what to do. Show up at the wedding. Place your gift basket on the table. Watch as the jealousy mounts among the rest of the guests. Grab a slice of cake. Dance with Aunt Ethel. Smooch the maid of honor. Drop the mic.

Yelp
My wife and I love Olives and Grace! We've discovered lots of other local businesses, artisans, crafts people that we would probably never have found without O&G. It's great for gifts for others (but lets be honest, sometimes for yourself). Every time we're in the south end we make time for a visit. My favorite things about it are that everything is well curated and the folks there know the stories behind all the lovely items in the store. Go show your neighbor some love and visit Olives & Grace.

Yelp
Olives & Grace is a cozy little shop tucked in the South End. They sell items crafted by small businesses and local makers. You can find a variety of products here, such as candy, hot sauces, jewelry, apparel, fragrances, self-care items, and more! The space is brightly lit with cheery vibes and adorned with A+ aesthetics. Though there isn't much walking space, their selections are filled to the brim! I purchased McCrea's Flavor Family Caramels ($15) as a gift and it was a wondrous discovery!!! They're locally-made, right in Boston! The caramels come in a variety of ~cool~ flavors such as rosemary sea salt truffle, black lava sea salt, and even scotch! The salesperson was also super kind. :- ) Just a heads up that some items are a little pricey! Add this place to your window shopping + browsing destinations- you might find a cool gift for someone or even yourself!

Yelp
Amazing homie feel with a great staff. Super friendly shop! We can always find a great buy! Best shop in the south end by far. :)

Yelp
Far and away my favorite gift shop in Boston. Olives & Grace is a lovingly curated gift shop in the South End featuring amazing finds for anyone and everyone. They feature loads of gorgeous hand crafted treasures in every nook of the bright space- cards, prints, jewelry, cocktail accoutrement, kitchenware and lots of small batch foods. Every item has a story and the lovely owner Sofi is more than willing to share the origin of every badass item that has made it's way to her shop. They also feature frequent 'pop-ups' with local makers there to chat and share about their goods, which is a great way to find new goodies to love and meet the passionate people behind the brand. Some personal favorites you can find here: Apothekers Kitchen chocolates, Porcelain and Stone Jewelry, Sweet Lydias and so many more. Whether you're picking up a few stand alone pieces or going all the way and putting together a full gift box (just pick the products and they'll put it all together for you) - this is *the* best place to find something lovely and unique in Boston.

Yelp
Stop by for a unique gift, perfect card, or something for yourself. Stay for the warm vibes and kind people. Always a pleasure browsing OG.

Yelp
Delicious! Very nice employees! Clean! Would def recommend! I took kiddos from ages 2-13 & we all left very happy! Will definitely be going back for sure!

Yelp
I have purchased from Olive's and Grace a few times. I don't appreciate being treated rudely. My preconceived notions were right. Never shop there again. If I want to buy extremely expensive artisan things there's plenty of other shops that might have a real human that cares about community people and issues.

Yelp
Wow. A gift just arrived at our home from Olives & Grace and we are completely knocked out! We received a carefully curated box of items from around the country that are not only beautiful, but look delicious. Caramels, shortbread, beautiful glassware, hot sauce, and bitters - you name it! I have never been to the shop itself but as a result of this thoughtful gift I will be going there the next time I need to pick out something absolutely lovely.

Yelp
The sweetest store you'll ever see, with the sweetest owner! You can't help but fall in love with O&G and be inspired to support local, hard-working makers. Great selection of genuine, high-quality gifts.

Paola K.

Yelp
Olives and Grace is it located in the basement of one of those brown stone buildings. When you walk in the vibe is so soft and calming. Although it's a little pricey, the gifts they have are cool because they are locally curated. If the items are not locally curated, then they are woman or minority owned. I love that they have the Boston mini gift box because it's a quick gift that you can get that has just a little bit of everything. I bought the mini Boston gift box which was $55 for a friends birthday and he loved it. I wouldn't say the gifts are super thoughtful but they're nice in a pinch. The store owners also offered to hand select gifts based on the person that you were buying the gift for, but I was short on time so I just took the premade one. I would recommend this place as a gift to people who are either new to Boston or just visiting.

Isha A.

Yelp
The gifts in this store are fantastic but I had a very negative experience with a salesperson. She kept trying to shove all the things I bought into a tiny box, and refused to give me a bigger box because "larger boxes are only for people who have purchased 7 items" (I had only purchased 5). She also refused to let me pay for the larger box out of pocket because she "tries to be intentional about packaging items." The whole experience was frustrating and struck me as very pretentious. She also provided absolutely zero help as I tried to schlep a stroller, a toddler, and many loose gift items up the stairs. Poor customer service overall!

Yelp
OG is an amazing little shop with a big heart! I cannot rave enough about Olives & Grace! They feature emerging food and gift makers from across the country and support many local makers. New items are always coming in, and I find myself stopping by all the time to check them out and just to say 'hi' to Sofi and the staff. The level of service provided is unparalleled. I've never been great at gifting, but now I often stop into the shop on my way to a shower or birthday or housewarming and am on my way in minutes with the perfect gift, beautifully wrapped. Even more importantly, OG cares about the South End community and about the world as well. You will stop in for chocolates, blankets, jewelry, and teas, but you will leave part of a supportive and inspiring community!

Yelp
I stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon to get some goodbye gifts to give to coworkers (leaving my current job). This shop is so lovely and has lots of interesting and thoughtful items for people with all different interests. The staff was extremely helpful, asking about my giftees and guiding me towards some really nice items. They were attentive and answered all my questions with lots of knowledge about the different products, but also let me look around on my own, shop around, pick things up, etc. In the end I left with three perfect gifts and the recipients absolutely adored them! I heard their stock changes frequently so I will certainly be back for more. I also love that they support local makers so the items are always uniquely Bostonian!

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Olives and Grace is my go-to gift store in the South End. They sell beautiful handmade, artisan, small batch gifts, ranging from craft chocolate and teas to unique pieces of jewelry and textiles. They also have a great selection of greeting cards by local artists, and they will wrap your purchases in pretty tissue paper or a gift box, so you can walk out with everything you need to wish someone a happy birthday, marriage, anniversary, baby.. or just to surprise someone (or yourself) with something special. They are on the expensive side, but it has always been worth it for the quality of the gifts and to support emerging food and gift makers from across the country. I recently bought a friend who is celebrating a birthday a gourmet bar of chocolate, a hand poured fragranced candle, and Ajiri Kenyan Black Tea - and I was pleased to see that they are now including little cards that describe the item and the maker with each gift!

Yelp
This boutique really knows how to create the best possible shopping experience: from the quality products to the customer service to the charming atmosphere, this tiny basement boutique is a true gem. Especially notable is the customer service. One of the clerks Amanda took her time helping me picking out products for a birthday gift box and packaging everything meticulously. Even though on Saturday, she reassured me that the package would arrive in time for its intended recipient, I was notified today that it wouldn't actually get there in time. The store was closed last Monday and Tuesday so my package didn't get shipped out until today. Amanda handled this mix-up professionally. She emailed me as soon as she found out and apologized profusely. In my opinion she went overboard with the apologies in her email; everyone makes mistakes. But that just goes to show how much this boutique cares about its customers. She even gave me a gift card for the inconvenience. Even if it weren't for the gift card, I would have definitely been back soon because I've been craving their selection of artisan peanut butters. Looking forward to my next few years with Olives & Grace in the neighborhood!

Yelp
Olives & Grace is the most adorable shop in South End & Sofi, the owner, is the best! Variety in the stock, so you can always find something new to love!

Yelp
If you are looking for a sweet gift you will find it at Olives and Grace. The owner makes you feel part of the family. She has thoughtful products in the store and many have a social mission. Makers of products are celebrated by the staff. You will find holiday appropriate pop up festivities hosted at the store. Olives and Grace has made itself a vital part of the South End community and I proudly shop small at this wonderful store.

John F.

Yelp
Outstanding establishment. I wanted a gift basket for my daughter who lives in Somerville. Taylor and the folks at Olives and Grace were super. They asked about my daughter a bit and then put together a special basket of terrific stuff; Some Boston local; some organic goodies and a coffee mug that she says is "really nice and just the right size". Bottom line = she loved everything. Mission accomplished thanks to Olives and Grace.

Yelp
Olives & Grace is SERIOUSLY the best place for all your gift giving needs! I was in a rush and had some gifts but needed a few more for a housewarming present. The staff helped me curate an amazing, personal package and not only that - but added wrapping to my other gifts to make it all look beautiful and go together so perfectly. I love this place so much and my friends and family always appreciate something from Sofi and O&G. Thanks again for making everything easy and beautiful!

Yelp
One of my favorite spots in the South End. Sophie is a really great curator and have always been impressed with the gift ideas I'm able to find here.

Ashley S.

Yelp
I love this store! It's got this welcoming feel, which is great given that you can spend a fair bit of time exploring the artisan knick knacks and goodies that this store has! I love the idea of this store and how well it embodies the South End. I'm happy to spend a bit more money supporting the local economy, and I think everyone should stop by to take it in!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is so cute!!! I randomly stopped in and discovered so many fun gifts for the holidays that I know no one will replicate. I'm buying everyone in my family gifts from here. The shop owner Sophie spent so much time showing me around her store and giving me fun ideas. I bought a blanket that said "Good at Naps." Obsessed! Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Olives & Grace is a perfect example of a small business. The owner and people that work here are personable and helpful. The products are local/regional or have a purpose. The turnover of products makes it fun to browse there frequently. I've found many gifts and treats for myself in this fun shop!
google avatar

Evan L.

Yelp
I had to send a gift to someone in the Boston area on a tight timetable, and Sofi was extremely helpful in putting together a great gift basket and getting it delivered ASAP. I had a great experience, would definitely use them again.
google avatar

Marcus A.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my experience with Olives & Grace. I picked out a valentines day basket for my girlfriend and aside from her being blown away, the products lasted longer than expected. Sofi is the epitome of excellent customer service. I plan on visiting the shop again very soon!

Isak K.

Yelp
Stopped by O&G today on my way to lunch when Sofi and the staff urged me to try the solar-popped popcorn that was being sampled. After throwing a couple in my mouth the delightful subtlety of cheesy, sweet popcorny goodness crept over me followed by the desire to punch Orville Redenbacher in the face. Seriously though, nowhere will you find a shop stocked with such carefully selected specialty goods that can't be found anywhere else. Headlined by a kickass staff, Olives & Grace is hands-down one of the most fresh and unique stores I've been to!
google avatar

Cameron J.

Yelp
Cute little artisan shop in the South End of Boston. The concept of the shop, to support the 'little guys' (and gals!), is nice and makes it easier to spend some money here! Cute cards and a very funny coffee mug.....you'll know it when you see it!
google avatar

Chris Z.

Yelp
Love this place - it's always my go-to when I'm looking for a gift. Several local and unique items, including drink mixers, jewelry, soap, candies, chocolate, aprons, cards... the list goes on. Something for everyone. The owner is so lovely too! It's clear that she puts a lot of care and thought into every item in the store.

Katherine D.

Yelp
I really like this shop but I stopped by within their business hours and they were closed. Unreliable and unprofessional, will not be coming back and will not recommend to a friend

Sarah S.

Yelp
Such an amazing store for Boston! Boston needs more stores like this. The selection is incredible, and the owner is a great curator of unique items that you wouldn't find anywhere else. With the holidays coming up I know this is going to be the place where I do most of my shopping. I love the new location, more space and more products and goodies to explore! The location is now central to all the other great places to explore in the South End.
google avatar

Pamela G.

Yelp
Olives and Grace is perfect for local small batch items and thoughtful gifts! We love the Alex's Ugly hot sauce, everything bagel pasta, hot & spicy honey and have purchased several great gifts there for the holidays. The owner is full of recommendations and knows the story behind all the items in the shop. It's wonderful!

Yelp
There's a reason this place was voted "Best Gifts" in last year's Best of Boston contest. Olives & Grace has a nice selection of locally made items that are perfect gifts for all occasions. They've got a nice array of food items (chocolates, marshmallows, hot sauces), drinks (mixed drink ingredients, coffee, tea), and handmade gifts -- you're bound to find something that you like. Since stumbling on this place about three years ago, I've visited for just about every birthday and Christmas and it has yet to disappoint. The items here are a bit pricey, but I'm happy to shell out a little extra cash for something that is locally sourced and well made. Plus, the staff is more than willing to help make a nice selection of items that complement one another for a gift box, which they will help wrap up nice a neatly for you (huge bonus points in my book). It's definitely worth checking out this place if you're in the South End!

Kori L.

Yelp
Olives & Grace has been one of my favorite places for years! I live across the river but I'll make a special trip to the South End just to pickup a gift or put together a gift box there. The store is a fixture in the neighbor and has meticulously curated products that I've never seen anywhere else. They have great food products (love the hot honey, addicted to Ajiri Tea), candles that smell divine (think cactus flower), and I love the support for local artisans (especially tea towels). The whole store is just so thoughtfully put together that in spite of its small footprint, I can get lost in there forever because there's something great in every nook and cranny. It's the perfect place for gifts for any occasion.

Meredith C.

Yelp
Olives & Grace is my FAVORITE shop in Boston - I always find amazing gifts! They have such an array of beautiful and meaningful items that it's hard to walk out empty handed. I recently ordered a gift box for my boss and it was perfect. She was so touched and excited about everything in the box and the presentation was flawless. I'll definitely be ordering gift boxes in the future - they make the great gifts!

Cassady R.

Yelp
LOVE this place! I wish I could just make this store my home. The items Sophie gets are unique and gorgeous. Service is top notch as well!
