"Detroit's Show Goes On Detroit's theater district is said to be the second-largest in the United States after New York City's, and the historic Fox Theatre is the nucleus of the district. Although the surrounding area exudes a cosmopolitan cool left over from the days of variety entertainment, and there's no shortage of watering holes and clubs, it's this 5,000-seat theater where you'll get the best glimpse of Detroit's past glory. Even if you're not coming for one of the frequent shows, take a minute to appreciate the interior and exterior of the U.S.'s largest surviving 1920's performing arts house."

We went to see The Night Before Christmas by Cirque du Soleil. Our seating in the suites was lovely and the food was really good! We did a tour of the theatre and I was able to show him many of the features of the theatre that many people would simply walk right by and never notice. The entire trip was a surprise for my grandson, we spent the whole day downtown, having brunch, shopping in Eastern Market, went to Midtown and an art gallery before pulling up to the Fox! He had a fabulous time!

This organization is trash! The separation of Al Sobatka is an injustice,, to say the least. This man gave over 50 years of his life to the Red Wings, 50 years! We are now organizing a campaign against the organization to bring this man what he deserves. You do not let a man like Al go. Al will leave when he wants to retire. The disgusting and shameful behavior of this organization will not go overlooked! Prepare for a reckoning.

Watch buying your tickets from this organization. They offer a buy one now get one free offer from Hockeytown Olympia Entertainment, and when you search for tickets there already half price off so you think you are purchasing at your budget, when in fact each ticket is the price. On top of all that they transfer the transaction through Ticketmaster. When I noticed the mistake at the end, I called immediately to Hockeytown admin offices and they referred me to ticket master. I still have the original emails proving what happened, and I just got pinged ponged around. Watch yourself if you are not dealing directly like I thought we were with the Chris Ilitch company. Needless to say my last hockey game. And for the grand finale the prices at Little Caesar's Arena are through the roof, very expensive.

This company has duped the entire city of Detroit to collect tax breaks, demolish old building and construct parking lots all in the name of profits. Not to mention the tigers and red wings have been terrible the past couple of years. They are out of touch with the city and region, the district Detroit needs to be a part of the city that’s affordable not a sea of expensive parking lots.

HUGE shout out to Jayne from the 313 Presents & Red Wings ticket office. Was very patient and went out of her way to solve my issue. I can't say enough about the level of customer service I received. Hey Jayne, I'm hiring if you're ever looking for a change :) Keep up the great job.

The Fox theater in Detroit, Michigan is beautiful, everything is nice except the woman’s bathroom! The bathroom really needs repairs and updates.

Yelp
I would like to submit a complaint due to the experience my fiancé and I had today while seeing the matinee performance of A Chorus Line at 3pm on 2/17/18, something we have been looking forward to for months. We arrived at the theater more than 30 min prior to curtain only to find a line of people wrapped around the building. We waited for 45 minutes just to get into the building. Please note that there were still at least 200 people waiting outside when we got through bag checks, and by the time we got to our seats, the 11 minute opening number was over. Knowing full well that much of the audience was still waiting to get into the building, the show was not held. This is unacceptable, and completely ruined the experience for not only us but hundreds of paying people! The opening of A Chorus Line is the most important number in the show. This was mishandled terribly by the Fox and we will not be going back to the Fox anytime soon. I was completely devastated by what happened today. Please address this issue for future audiences. Thank you.
