Olympic Hôtel

During our stay, we decided to stay at the Olympic Hotel Montana, located in the very heart of Montana. The location is pleasant and convenient, close to the ice rink and the casino, and surrounded by small cafés. The hotel itself is situated in a one-way pedestrian zone, so do not be alarmed when approaching. The hotel is not particularly easy to spot from the street, as the Amadeus Bar is far more visible than the hotel entrance itself. It is also worth noting that the reception desk operates only until 22:30. As we arrived later, we were checked in by a member of the bar staff. An important note for guests with walking disabilities: there is a very slim chance that a wheelchair or baby stroller will fit into the elevator. The lift is very old and extremely small, and it does not have an interior door, so you can see it moving between floors. Additionally, when arriving at the selected floor (in our case, the first floor), the elevator stops slightly below floor level, which makes exiting difficult even with suitcases. The room itself was spacious, with a single bed made up of two mattresses. The pillows and bedding were very comfortable, and the bathroom was also generously sized. The room featured a large balcony with two chairs, offering a view of a charming street and partial mountain views to the left. Overall, the room was acceptable. Breakfast, however, was mediocre. While the food was fine, we expected a wider selection. The breakfast room was extremely crowded, making it difficult to access the food. In many cases, you had to wait for another guest to leave before being able to reach the dishes comfortably. If you are arriving by car, be sure to reserve a parking space as early as possible by contacting the hotel directly. The hotel has fewer parking spaces than rooms. There are two parking options: an outdoor forecourt area, which is quite tight even for a small car, and an underground garage, which we imagine to be even narrower. Parking costs CHF 20 per night. Overall, this hotel would not be our first recommendation. Considering the relatively high price, we expected a higher standard.

We really enjoyed our stay at Olympic Hotel in Crans Montana. It was a great location. A short walk to the gondola for skiing with the Epic Pass. Right near several bus stops for transportation to other areas and gondolas. Close to several rental shops. Plus several restaurants nearby and the hotel restaurant served delicious fondue and raclette. The breakfast was included in our stay and wow, it was fantastic. Fresh eggs scrambled or hard boiled, several different types of fresh bread, and pastries with your choice of jam. Meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, and a Swiss kind of overnight oats. I can't wait to go back and explore the village of Crans-Montana even more.

Conveniently located in the heart of town, 1 min walk to the gondola, food options around are great with an aldi around the corner. They have lockers for skis and boots, and everything is high tech. The rooms are nice, similar to a Marriott. Our room has 3 beds, a tv, a desk with free water and some candies, and drawers. The amenities are nice, like body lotion. The showers are really nice too. They have a lounge room too. I was worried about the noise from the bar from reviews, but we got a room that isn’t affected. They are really nice too. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Nice hotel in the middle of Crans Montana. Everything perfekt. The breakfast was small but enough. The service and the support from the team was great. Nice place to get quick to the skiing area. The infrastructure for skis and cars is great.

A small hotel in the Montana side of the area in the center of town with a short walking distance to the Ski Gondola. It has Parking, no luxury but clean with comfortable beds and a good-sized new bathroom. It had a nice balcony overlooking the main street. There is a good restaurant with local Swiss food connected to the hotel. The one thing I did not like about the room was the dark brown shaggy carpet, it makes a person feel the floor is not clean. One other detail is this room is close to a Night Club next door and the sound of people staying on till long after midnight, if this bothers you, you might want to book a room away from facing the main street.

We were here for skiing and arrived in town via the train. There is no courtesy bus but there is free local bus transport which runs regularly. ||The hotel was expecting us and the checkin process was smooth.||Large room with a balcony, however the single beds were butted together. As we were staying for a week we would have appreciated a small fridge, but being winter, the balcony was just as good.||Plenty of storage space and good size bathroom with plenty of hot water.||Separate area down stairs to store your skis and heaters for your boots.||The breakfast each morning, which was included in the rate, was more than substantial. The staff were excellent. If I had a resturant I would hire them immediately.||The TV had channels in numerous languages however I connected my PC and ran Netflix for something different.||We had the set lunch one day when we were not skiing. The restaurant was nearly full, lucky we booked. Good food at a reasonable price.||Lots of great restaurants located near by and there is an Aldi just around the corner. ||Yes, I would definitely stay there again.

Rooms were warm and clean. Our accommodation included breakfast which was more than sufficient. The absolute best was that there was a nightclub in the basement of the hotel!!!! This was the coolest. It was also within walking distance to the ski slopes, bus stops and very centrally located to other shops. The ski shop was right opposite. The staff were very professional and helpful and always willing to asssit us where necesary! Huge fireplace in the dining room!

This hotel is reasonably priced yet a bit hard to find by car as the whole town seems to be under construction. Rooms are very clean, the shower was modern and large. Bars in the vicinity close late so there may be some noise after hours. Breakfast was average and adequate with friendly and responsive staff. The wait at the front desk was clearly longer than average during check in and the person in charge had to be called on the phone first.
