Jin: "I love Olympic Park! Even a simple walk takes around 50 minutes to an hour because it's so big. It's a really pretty place, so I recommend it."

Olympic Park (올림픽공원) is a must-visit spot in Seoul if you're looking to enjoy nature, art, and a bit of history all in one place. The park is massive, with wide walking paths, scenic lakes, and open green spaces that make it perfect for a relaxing stroll or picnic. All around the park, you’ll find large-scale sculptures and public art that add a unique charm to the landscape. There’s also historical significance here, with remnants from the 1988 Seoul Olympics adding character and depth to the visit. Whether you’re into photography, jogging, or just need a peaceful break from the city buzz, Olympic Park offers a refreshing escape with something for everyone.

The Olympics were held in Seoul in 1988. Of course, a lot has changed in the city since then. But the beautiful Olympic Park remains, with all its sports infrastructure, which still serves the Korean people. For me personally, the Olympic Park has become a wonderful place for walks and relaxation. You can simply stroll leisurely along the alleys or go for a run. There are plenty of benches for resting, toilets, and vending machines on the grounds, so relax among the shady trees and recharge your batteries.🙏 There is a very unusual service in the park. If you have walked a lot and your feet are tired, you can use a special foot bath with cool water to relieve fatigue, which is very cool.👌

A really big park in the heart of Seoul. This was built to commemorate the Olympic hosted by Korea in 1988. They kept the fire burning at the gate since they opened the park. There kids riding their bikes, some were on their roller blades and skate boards. There's a big lagoon with ducks and large fish (carps). Plenty of benches to sit in and relax. There's lots of trails for walking and running. We got to an area with nice grass, I thought it was a golf course. It was an open field for picnic and was beside an ongoing excavation of an ancient village during the Baekje Dynasty. Then we got to the sports stadiums (handball, swimming etc) open to the public. We took a leisurely walk around for over 2 hours. Restrooms are everywhere. Vending machines are everywhere too with options for hot and cold beverages. They take cards and coins. There's convenience stores as well. There's lots of birds and cats! We also bumped into a camera club group. This is by far, one of the best parks I visited in Korea.

Olympic Park is a wonderful spot for a family picnic! 🧺🌳 The park is very spacious, with plenty of grassy areas where kids can run around freely. There are also shaded spots, walking paths, and even some art installations to enjoy while strolling. We had a relaxing afternoon here, enjoying the fresh air and a picnic together. Highly recommended for families looking for a peaceful outdoor place in Seoul!

The best time to visit this park during autumn is around Oct 27th to Oct 31st. If you visit later than that, I don't think the cosmos flowers are still there. Around that time, you can still see cosmos flowers and the trees are already turning yellow and red

It's a really beautiful park, very large and some really nice views of the city from there. There were plenty of food trucks and some nice memorabilia from the 1988 Olympics. It is definitely worth spending an hour or two there to really explore the place.
